Description
幾つかの指酸素計が既知である。一般的にこれらの指酸素計はセンサー及びそれと協働する光検出器を利用するパルス酸素計測(pulse oximetry)ユニットであり、上記光検出器は被検者の指を通過する動脈血の血液酸素飽和度を測定するために、センサーによって放出される光を検出する。被検者の指を照らすためにかつ被検者の指を通過する光を検出するために、従来の指酸素計は一般に、2つの指掴み部分をもつ指掴み機構をもっていた。この従来技術ではこれらの指掴み部分は通常は枢軸によるヒンジ結合機構により互いに協働する。以下に示す米国特許は特に、指酸素計の指掴み部分を指酸素計の1端点の周りに旋回させることができる或るヒンジ機構によって指を受け入れるために開く指掴み部分を開示している:米国特許第4,685,464号、第5,490,523号、第5,792,052号、第5,313,940号、第5,676,139号、第5,810,724号、第5,957,840号及び第6,041,247号。
本発明の指酸素計は、一方の指掴み部分が固定している他方の指掴み部分に関して垂直に可動であることからもたらされる浮動懸架システムをもつ。偏倚力が可動の指掴み部分に対して加えられて、可動の掴み部分が固定指掴み部分に向かって絶えず偏倚させられる。2つの協働する指掴み部分は、それらの対向する面がそれらの掴み部分間に挿入された指を受け入れるための開口を形成するような輪郭をもつように形作られる。。可動の指掴み部分に加えられる偏倚力は、指が固定と可動の指部分間に挿入されたときに可動の指部分は撓むことができるが同時に、指の長さに沿って均等な力分布をもって、可動の指部分を固定の指掴み部分に向かって押す十分大きな偏倚力をもち、それによって2つの指掴み部分にそれらの間に置かれた指をしっかり掴ませるようになす。
(発明の詳細な説明)
ング22の後壁に1個のバネをもつというような3個のバネ配置もまた使用可能である。逆に、ケーシング22の各側壁に沿って2個より多い多数のバネもまた本発明の実施例では使用可能である。
Claims (16)
- 指酸素計において、
後壁と各々が前記後壁から延びる2つの側壁とをもつケーシングと、
前記側壁によって挟まれかつ前記側壁に沿って垂直に動くことができる第1の指部分と、
前記第1の指部分の移動に対する上部止めを形成するために前記ケーシングと固定関係にある第2の指部分とを含み、
前記第1と第2の指部分の互いに向き合っている夫々の面はそれらの面の間に置かれる指に適合するよう形作られており、更に、
前記第1の指部分に対して偏倚力を加えるために前記ケーシングに備えたバネ手段を含み、その結果前記第1と第2の指部分間に置かれた指が、前記第1指部分が前記バネ手段によって前記第2指部分に向かって偏倚させられることによって、前記第1と第2の指部分によってしっかり掴まれるようになした指酸素計であって、
前記ケーシングの前記側壁の各々が、前記第1の指部分が前記ケーシングから落下するのを防止するバリヤーを形成するための棚部を含み、前記側壁の各々が前記第1指部分の垂直移動を案内し、
上記バネ手段は複数のバネを含み、その内の少なくとも2つのバネが、前記第1の指部分を支持しかつこの第1指部分に対して前記偏倚力を垂直に加えるために、前記側壁の各々の棚部の対向端に固定されていることを特徴とする指酸素計。 - 前記第2の指部分の頂部に連結された複数の電子回路部品をその上に取り付けられた印刷回路盤を含み、前記第2指部分は、前記回路盤に取り付けられた発光源からの光を前記第1と第2の指部分によって掴まれた前記指に差し向けることができるようになすための開口部をもち、更に、
少なくとも前記指から測定された動脈血の血液酸素飽和度の示数を表示するために前記回路盤の頂部に取り付けられたディスプレイと、
前記ディスプレイの上に置かれかつ前記第2の指部分又は前記ケーシングの頂部に固定連結されたカバーとを含む請求項1に記載の指酸素計。 - 前記電子回路部品と前記ディスプレイに電力を供給するために前記第1指部分の下側に着脱自在に連結されたバッテリーモジュールを更に含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の指酸素計。
- ユーザーが前記電子回路部品を手動で作動させることができるように前記ケーシングに取り付けられたスイッチを更に含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の指酸素計。
- パルス酸素計において、
固定部分と、
前記固定部分に対して可動の非固定部分とを含み、前記固定と非固定の部分は共同して、指を挿入することができる開口を提供し、更に、
前記非固定部分に対して偏倚する手段を含み、指が前記固定と非固定の部分間に挿入されたとき前記非固定部分は、前記指を受け入れるために前記固定部分に対して動くことができるが、前記固定部分に向かって偏倚した状態に留まって、前記指が前記固定と非固定の部分によってしっかり掴まれるようになされ、
後壁から延びる2つの側壁をもつケーシングを含み、前記固定部分は前記側壁の上部によって挟まれかつ前記上部と固定関係にあり、前記非固定部分は前記側壁によって挟まれかつ前記側壁の対向面に沿って垂直に可動であり、夫々の棚部が前記側壁の夫々の下部から延びて前記非固定部分を支持しており、
前記偏倚手段は複数のバネを含み、前記バネの少なくとも2つは、前記非固定部分に均等に分布した偏倚させる上向き支持力を与えるために、互いに所定の距離離れて各棚部に固定されていて、指が前記固定と非固定の部分間に挿入されたとき前記非固定部分は前記固定部分に関して垂直に動くことができ、その際前記非固定部分は連続的に前記指に対して上向きに押圧され、それによって前記指をしっかり掴む力を維持するようになしたことを特徴とするパルス酸素計。 - 前記バネは圧縮コイルバネとすることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のパルス酸素計。
- 上記固定部分と非固定部分は互いに整列して位置した夫々の対向面をもつ夫々の細長い部材であり、上記パルス酸素計が更に、
前記細長い部材の対応する対向面に各々取り付けられた夫々の指パッドを含み、前記指パッドは前記指パッド間に置かれた指の掴み力を増すように、指の輪郭に従うよう形作られていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のパルス酸素計。 - 前記固定部分の上面に連結された回路盤を含み、電子部品とディスプレイが前記回路盤に取り付けられており、前記固定部分は開口部をもち、前記固定部分の下に置いた指を照らすために、前記回路盤に電気接続された発光装置からの光がその開口部を通過し、カバーが前記回路盤の上に置かれて前記ケーシングに固定連結されていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のパルス酸素計。
- 前記電子部品と前記ディスプレイに電力を供給するために前記非固定部分の下側に着脱自在に連結されたバッテリーモジュールを更に含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載のパルス酸素計。
- 前記固定と非固定の部分によって掴まれた前記指から動脈血の血液酸素飽和度を測定するためにユーザーによって前記電子回路を手動で作動させるために前記ケーシングに取り付けられスイッチを更に含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載のパルス酸素計。
- 第1の掴み手段と、
前記第1の掴み手段に対向する第2の掴み手段を含み、お互いに向き合った夫々の面をもつ前記第1と第2の掴み手段は、それらの掴み手段間に置かれた指を掴むことができるように形作られており、前記第1と第2の掴み手段のうちの一方は固定されているが、前記第1と第2の掴み手段のうちの他方は前記一方の固定掴み手段に関して可動であり、更に、
一旦指が前記第1と第2の掴み手段間に置かれると、指が前記前記第1と第2の掴み手段によってしっかり掴まれたままとなるよう、前記可動の掴み手段を前記固定掴み手段に向かって可撓状に押圧する偏倚手段を含む指を掴む装置であって、
後壁から延びる2つの側壁をもつケーシングを更に含み、前記固定掴み手段は前記側壁の上部によって挟まれかつ前記上部と固定関係にあり、前記可動掴み手段は前記側壁によって挟まれかつ前記側壁の対向面に沿って垂直に可動であり、夫々の棚部が前記側壁の夫々の下部から延びており、前記偏倚手段は複数のバネを含み、前記バネのうちの少なくとも2つは前記棚部の各々と前記可動の掴み手段の対応する対向側面の間に挿入され、前記バネは前記可動の掴み手段に対して偏倚力を提供することを特徴とする装置。 - 前記第1と第2の掴み手段は各々頂面と底面をもつ夫々一方と他方の細長い部材を含み、前記両細長い部材は互いに整列していて、前記一方の細長い部材の底面は前記他方の細長い部材の頂面に向き合っており、前記両細長い部材は夫々開口部と、前記一方の細長い部材の前記底面と前記他方の細長い部材の頂面の対応する1つに各々取り付けられた夫々の指パッドをもち、前記指パッドは指の輪郭に適合するよう形作られており、前記指パッドの各々は前記一方と他方の細長い部材の開口部と整列する開口部をもつことを特徴とする請求項11に記載の装置。
- 後壁から延びる2つの側壁をもつケーシングを更に含み、前記一方の細長い部材は前記側壁の上部によって挟まれかつ前記上部に固定連結されており、前記他方の細長い部材は前記側壁によって挟まれかつ前記側壁の対向面に沿って垂直に可動であり、夫々の棚部が前記側壁の夫々の下部から延びており、前記偏倚手段は複数のバネからなり、そのバネのうちの少なくとも2つは前記棚部の各々と、前記他方の細長い部材の対向側面から延びる夫々の耳部の対応する1つとの間に挿入されており、前記バネは前記他方の細長い部材のための懸架システムとして機能することを特徴とする請求項12に記載の装置。
- 電子部品と、前記一方の細長い部材の頂面に連結された回路盤上に取り付けられたディスプレイと、前記一方の細長い部材と前記一方の細長い部材の底面に取り付けられた指パッドの夫々の開口部を通して光を出力する発光源と、前記指パッドによって掴まれた指を通過する前記発光源からの光出力を受け取るための、前記他方の細長い部材と前記他方の細長い部材の頂面に取り付けられた指パッドの夫々の開口部と整列した光検出器とを更に含むことを特徴とする請求項12に記載の装置。
- 前記他方の細長い部材と同時に動くように前記他方の細長い部材に着脱自在に連結されたバッテリーモジュールを更に含み、前記バッテリーモジュールは前記電子部品と前記ディスプレイに電力を供給することを特徴とする請求項14に記載の装置。
- 前記一方の掴み手段に取り付けられた電子回路部品をユーザーにより手動で作動可能とするために前記後壁に取り付けられたスイッチを更に含むことを特徴とする請求項11記載の装置。
