Description

The present invention relates to a food containing sugar ceramide and diacylglycerol.

The stratum corneum of the skin has a barrier function that prevents transpiration of moisture from the body and prevents irritation from the outside world. It is known that when this barrier function is impaired by ultraviolet rays, surfactants, drying, mechanical stimulation, active oxygen, residual chlorine in tap water, etc., it induces dry skin, atopic dermatitis, skin roughness, etc. Yes.

Ceramide, which consists of fatty acid and sphingosine, and cerebroside, which consists of sugar, fatty acid, and sphingosine, are abundant in the stratum corneum of human skin, and are thought to function to prevent water from evaporating from the body. Therefore, attempts have been made to improve the amount of keratinous moisture in the skin by administering ceramide or glycosphingolipid.

For example, it is reported that the moisture retention function of the skin is improved by ingesting ceramide (for example, see Non-Patent Document 1), and it is reported that the skin is beautiful and exhibits a beauty effect (for example, Patent Document) 1). Furthermore, it has been reported that when glycosphingolipids are orally ingested together with plant sterols, they are efficiently absorbed and exhibit excellent effects in improving the amount of keratin water in the skin and improving rough skin (for example, see Patent Document 2).

On the other hand, diacylglycerol has an action to suppress the increase in blood neutral fat after meal (for example, see Patent Document 2) and an action to increase blood HDL cholesterol (for example, see Patent Document 3). Used in processed oil and fat foods.
However, no food containing diacylglycerol and sugar ceramide has been known so far.

SKICON−200(IBS
Example 2 Skin barrier function improving effect, stratum corneum water content increasing effect, ceramide water content increasing effect HR1 mice, 6 weeks old, sputum, and a basic diet (AIN-76A combination: solid sample) as a preliminary breeding for 1 week before the start of the experiment Free water consumption. Grouping was performed according to body weight (8 animals in each group), and after starting the administration of the test meal shown in Table 1, the animals were reared for another 5 weeks.
1) Skin barrier recovery rate:
Nichiban PPS tape was applied and peeled off to the same part of the mouse skin where the initial TEWL value (transepidermal water loss) was measured with a hydrometer (MEECO) 5 times (hereinafter referred to as tape stripping). The recovery rate of each group was determined from the TEWL value and the TEWL value after 2 hours.
2) Water content of stratum corneum:
Measured with SKICON-200 (IBS).
3) Amount of ceramide (amount of ceramide per 1 mg of stratum corneum):
Mice (8 per group) that had been ingested for 8 weeks with each compounded food were peeled and the dorsal skin was peeled off and heated in a 60 ° C. water bath for 1 minute before ingesting the epidermis. Immediately, it was treated in a trypsin solution at 37 ° C. for 1 hour to obtain a stratum corneum. After lyophilization, the stratum corneum weight was measured, and the lipid was measured by the Blibh and Dyer method ("Biochemical Experimental Method 9 Introduction to Lipid and Lipid Oxide Analysis" edited by Yasuo Miyazawa and Yasuo Fujino, p45, revised on January 30, 2000) Was extracted, and the amount of ceramide was determined by the TLC method.
The results are shown in Table 2.

Figure 0004359205
Figure 0004359205

As a result, the administration group of Comparative Product 1 containing saccharide ceramide is less effective in increasing the stratum corneum moisture content and improving the barrier recovery ability than the control administration group, whereas the saccharide ceramide and diacylglycerol are used in combination. In the administration group of Invention Product 1, the amount of horny layer ceramide was increased, and both the stratum corneum water amount increasing action and the barrier recovery promoting action were remarkably recognized.
