【発明の属する技術分野】
この発明は、ポット、水さし、びん、コップ等の容器の内面を摺洗するのに好適に用いられる、或いはトイレブラシとして好適に用いられる摺洗用ブラシに関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、この種の摺洗用ブラシとしては、繊維を針金の間に挟んで撚り合わせることにより棒状に形成したものが一般的であったが、その先端の針金が突出しているためコップ底等の被摺洗面に傷を付けてしまうという欠点があった。

そこで、このような欠点を解消するものとして、上記のようにして形成した棒状ブラシの先端部を半円状あるいはU字状に湾曲せしめて折り返し針金突出部を内側に巻き込んだものが上市されているが、針金突出部が遊端となっているため、被摺洗面に先端部を強く押し当てて摺洗を繰り返すうちに変形して針金突出部が外面に露出し被摺洗面を傷つけるおそれがあるという問題があった。また、湾曲により先端部の繊維密度は低くなっており、そのためこの先端部における摺洗能力は低く、容器の底部の洗浄を十分に行えるものではなかった。更に、先端部の繊維密度が低いために繊維が屈撓しやすく、被摺洗面と針金が接触して、不快音を発生したりすることが多々あった。

そこで、上記の問題点を一挙に解決し得るものとして、本出願人は先に、2条の撚り合わされた針金の間に多数の繊維が連続状に挟着固定された2本の棒状ブラシ本体の基端側の針金突出部で形成される柄取付部に把柄が取り付けられる一方、前記2本の棒状ブラシ本体のそれぞれの先端側が相互に対峙する態様で湾曲され、これら先端側の針金突出部が繊維束植設基片を介して相互に接合されるとともに、該基片に繊維束が三次元放射状に植設された摺洗用ブラシを提案している(特許第2948160号公報)。これによれば、針金突出部が露出しないので被摺洗面を傷つけることがなく、また先端の基片に多数の繊維束が植設されているので摺洗能力に優れ、かつ繊維束の剛性により基片が被摺洗面に接触することもなくて不快音の発生が防止される。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上記構成に係る摺洗用ブラシは、製作するのに2本の棒状ブラシ本体、先端部用ブラシ部材及び把柄の4つの構成部品を必要とし、部品点数が多いという問題があった。

また、2本の棒状ブラシ本体のそれぞれの先端側の針金突出部を繊維束植設基片に接合する必要があるが、強固に接合するためには、針金突出部を接着剤を用いて基片の孔に嵌合接着するか、あるいは針金突出部を、基片を構成する合成樹脂の溶融温度以上に加熱された状態で基片の孔に嵌合溶着させる等、このような接着、溶着等の煩雑な接合工程が必要であり、そのために製作工程数が多くなり、製作時間もかかり、ひいてはコストを増大させるという問題もあった。

更に、棒状ブラシ本体の針金突出部と繊維束植設基片とを接着、溶着等により接合しているものであるので、使用中において特に強い無理な力が該接合部に負荷されるようなことがあると、繊維束植設基片と棒状ブラシ本体の接合状態が損なわれてしまうことが懸念される。

この発明は、かかる技術的背景に鑑みてなされたものであって、構成部品点数を削減できる上に、接着、溶着等の煩雑な工程を要せずして繊維束植設基片と棒状ブラシ本体の一体化が可能となって製作工程及び製作時間が少なくて済み低コストであり、かつ強い無理な力が加わったとしても繊維束植設基片が離脱してしまうことがなく、また被摺洗面を傷つけることがなく、摺洗能力に優れると共に、不快音の発生もない摺洗用ブラシを提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するために、本発明者は鋭意研究の結果、1本の棒状ブラシ本体を繊維束が植設された基片の貫通孔に挿通配置せしめて、棒状ブラシ本体の中央部を、該貫通孔の長さ方向の一部に形成された狭小開口部によって緊締状態に拘束するものとし、かつ貫通孔の両端の開口部近傍位置においてブラシ本体を屈曲させてブラシ本体の両端側で形成される柄取付部に把柄を取り付けた構成とすることにより、上記所望の摺洗用ブラシが得られることを見出すに至り、この発明を完成したものである。

即ち、この発明に係る摺洗用ブラシは、2条の撚り合わされた針金の間に多数の繊維が連続状に挟着固定された棒状ブラシ本体と、貫通孔が設けられた繊維束植設基片の外表面に繊維束が三次元放射状に植設された先端部用ブラシ部材と、把柄とを備えてなり、前記繊維束植設基片の貫通孔の周壁面から1ないし複数のリブが内方に突設されることによって、該貫通孔の長さ方向の一部に通路断面積の小さくなされた狭小開口部が形成される一方、前記棒状ブラシ本体が前記繊維束植設基片の貫通孔に挿通されて該棒状ブラシ本体の中央部が前記狭小開口部によって緊締状態に拘束されると共に、前記貫通孔の両端の開口部近傍位置において前記棒状ブラシ本体が屈曲されて、該ブラシ本体の両端側の針金突出部で形成される柄取付部に把柄が取り付けられてなることを特徴とするものである。

この摺洗用ブラシはいずれの部位においても針金突出部が露出することがないから、摺洗時に被摺洗面を傷つけることがない。また先端側の植設基片に多数の繊維束が植設されて繊維密度が大きく、かつ三次元放射状に植設されているから、摺洗能力に優れる。更に、個々の繊維束は、繊維が束になっているから剛性を有しており、従って繊維束は屈撓することがなく、被摺洗面を強い力で擦り洗うことができ、容器の底部に汚れがこびり付いているような場合にも簡単に洗い落とすことができる。また、この時繊維束の剛性により被摺洗面と基片とが接触することもないから、不快音の発生もない。このような先端部用ブラシ部材と、ブラシ本体の相乗作用により、例えば容器であれば、その内面全てを余すことなく摺洗できる。

また、1本の棒状ブラシ本体の中央部を繊維束植設基片の貫通孔に挿通配置せしめて、この状態でブラシ本体を屈曲することにより構成されるものであり、従来のように棒状ブラシ本体を2本必要とするものではなく1本で済むので、構成部品点数を削減できる利点がある。そしてブラシ本体は繊維束植設基片の貫通孔の狭小開口部によって緊締状態に拘束されているので、繊維束植設基片がブラシ本体に対して安定状態に固定され、摺洗時における植設基片の位置ずれ、ガタツキ等が効果的に防止される。また、棒状ブラシ本体が貫通孔の両端の開口部近傍位置において屈曲されており、該両端の屈曲部間に基片が挟まれて配置されるので、貫通孔の軸線に沿う方向への植設基片の移動が確実に阻止される。前記狭小開口部は貫通孔の長さ方向の一部に形成されており、貫通孔の全体が狭小となされているものではないので、植設基片の貫通孔へのブラシ本体の挿通がスムーズなものとなり非常に製作が容易となる。このように、繊維束植設基片と棒状ブラシ本体の一体化を、接着、溶着等の煩雑な工程を要せずしてなし得るので、製作工程及び製作時間が少なくて済み低コストで製作できる。更に、棒状ブラシ本体を繊維束植設基片の貫通孔に挿通配置せしめて一体化しているから、強い無理な力が加わったとしても繊維束植設基片が離脱してしまうことがない。

上記繊維束植設基片の貫通孔の両端開口部のそれぞれの周縁部の一部に切欠凹部が設けられて、該切欠凹部に棒状ブラシ本体の針金が嵌まり込んで配置されているのが好ましい。基片の切欠凹部にブラシ本体の針金が嵌まり込んで配置されているから、摺洗時における貫通孔の軸線を中心とした植設基片の回転ずれ移動が確実に防止され、被摺洗面を一層強い力で確実に擦り洗うことができ、例えば容器の底部にこびり付いた汚れも確実に洗い落とすことができる。

また、繊維束植設基片の貫通孔の周壁面から複数のリブが相互に対向して突設されることによって狭小開口部が形成されるようになされているのが好ましい。複数のリブが相互に対向して突設配置されることによって、狭小開口部において棒状ブラシ本体が一層強い締め付け力でもって緊締状態に拘束されるので、ブラシ本体に対してより安定した状態で繊維束植設基片の固定がなされ得る。

貫通孔の両端開口部と向き合うリブ側面のうち少なくとも一側面が、貫通孔の径内方に向けて内向きに傾斜した傾斜面に形成されているのが好ましい。リブの側面がこのような傾斜面に形成されることによって植設基片の貫通孔へのブラシ本体の挿通がよりスムーズなものとなる。

また、ブラシ本体における繊維束植設基片側の先端部が屈曲または湾曲されることによって、先端部用ブラシ部材がブラシ本体に対して起き上がり状に配置されているのが好ましい。底部が拡がった形態のポット等の容器は、一般にその底面や底部側内周側面の汚れを洗い落とすのが容易ではないが、上記構成では先端部用ブラシ部材が起き上がり状に配置されているので、容器の底面や底部側内周側面等にこびり付いた汚れも簡単に摺洗することが可能となる。また、起き上がり状配置となされることで、入り込んだ箇所の摺洗も容易に行うことができるので、トイレブラシとしても好適である。

【発明の実施の形態】
この発明の一実施形態に係る摺洗用ブラシ(1)を図1〜3に示す。これらの図において、(2)は棒状ブラシ本体、(3)先端部用ブラシ部材、(4)は針金、(5)は把柄であり、前記先端部用ブラシ部材(3)は繊維束植設基片(7)と多数の繊維束(8)…より構成される。

繊維束植設基片(7)は、図4に示すように、底面側が平坦面に形成され、上面側が略球面状となされたやや横長の立体形状を有する合成樹脂成形品からなり、その長さ方向に沿って貫通孔(10)が穿設されている。この貫通孔(10)の中央部には、その周壁面から一対のリブ(11)(11)が相互に対向して突設され、これにより貫通孔(10)の長さ方向の一部に通路断面積の小さくなされた狭小開口部(12)が形成されている。前記リブ(11)(11)の幅方向両側面は、図4(ホ)に示すように貫通孔(10)の径内方に向けて内向きに傾斜した傾斜面に形成されている。

前記繊維束植設基片(7)の貫通孔(10)の両端開口部のそれぞれの周縁部の一部には切欠凹部(20)(20)が設けられている。即ち、前記両端開口部の内周壁面の一部からその背面にある平坦状底面にかけて凹溝状の切欠凹部(20)(20)が形成されている。この切欠凹部(20)の溝幅は前記撚り合わされた針金(4)(4)で形成される外径よりも若干大きくなるように設定されており、この切欠凹部(20)に棒状ブラシ本体(2)の針金(4)(4)が嵌まり込み得るようになされている。

即ち、この発明の摺洗用ブラシ(1)は、前記棒状ブラシ本体(2)が前記繊維束植設基片(7)の貫通孔(10)に挿通配置されて、該棒状ブラシ本体(2)の中央部が貫通孔(10)の狭小開口部(12)によって緊締状態に拘束される(図2参照)と共に、前記貫通孔(10)の両端の開口部近傍位置において前記棒状ブラシ本体(2)が屈曲され、更に植設基片(7)の切欠凹部(20)(20)にブラシ本体(2)の針金(4)(4)がそれぞれ嵌まり込んで配置されて(図3参照)、ブラシ本体(2)がその中央部において折り返し状となされ、ブラシ本体(2)の両端側の針金突出部で形成される柄取付部に把柄(5)が取り付けられてなるものである。前記把柄(5)の取り付けは、前記両端側の針金突出部を、それぞれ接着剤を用いて把柄(5)の嵌合孔(5a)(5a)に嵌合接着することによりなされたものである。なお、この取り付けは、針金突出部の一方が他方にねじり止められて1つの柄取付部が形成され、該柄取付部が把柄の頂部に穿設された1つの嵌合孔に嵌合固定されることによってなされるものであっても良い。

上記摺洗用ブラシ(1)では、ブラシ本体(2)が繊維束植設基片(7)の貫通孔(10)の狭小開口部(12)によって緊締状態に拘束されているので、繊維束植設基片(7)がブラシ本体(2)に対して安定状態に固定される。従って、摺洗時において植設基片(7)即ち先端部用ブラシ部材(3)の位置ずれやガタツキ等が効果的に防止されるので、被摺洗面を強い力で確実に擦り洗うことができる。また、棒状ブラシ本体(2)が貫通孔(10)の両端の開口部近傍位置において屈曲されており、該両端の屈曲部間に基片(7)が挟まれて配置されているので、貫通孔(10)の軸線に沿う方向への植設基片(7)の移動が確実に阻止される。更に、植設基片(7)の切欠凹部(20)にブラシ本体(2)の針金(4)(4)が嵌まり込んで配置されているので、摺洗時において貫通孔(10)の軸線を中心とした植設基片(7)の回転ずれ移動が確実に防止され、ひいては被摺洗面を一層強い力で確実に擦り洗うことができるものとなる。

前記狭小開口部(12)は、貫通孔(10)の全体ではなくその長さ方向の一部に形成されているので、貫通孔(10)へのブラシ本体(2)の挿通がスムーズなものとなる。更に、貫通孔(10)の両端開口部と向き合うリブ(11)(11)の幅方向側面が、貫通孔(10)の径内方に向けて内向きに傾斜した傾斜面に形成されているから、貫通孔(10)へのブラシ本体(2)の挿通がより一層スムーズなものとなり、ひいては製作が容易になると共に、製作時間も一層短縮される。

なお、上記実施形態では、2個のリブ(11)(11)が相互に対向して突設されることによって狭小開口部(12)が形成されるようになされているが、狭小開口部(12)を形成するためのリブ(11)の数は特にこれに限定されるものではなく、1個であっても良いし、あるいは3個以上であっても良い。ただ、狭小開口部(12)においてブラシ本体(2)を一層強い締め付け力でもって緊締状態に拘束する観点から、複数のリブが相互に対向して突設されることによって狭小開口部(12)が形成されるようになされているのが好ましい。

【発明の効果】
以上のように、この発明の摺洗用ブラシは、針金突出部が露出しないので被摺洗面を傷つけることがなく、先端側の植設基片に多数の繊維束が植設されて繊維密度が大きい上に三次元放射状に植設されているので摺洗能力に優れ、また該繊維束はその剛性により屈撓することがなくて被摺洗面と基片とが接触しないので不快音の発生もない。
