Description: BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION [0001] 1. Field of the Invention [0002] The present invention relates to a toothbrush which can be easily brushed in the oral cavity and can brush safely without damaging the oral cavity. 2. Description of the Related Art In general, a toothbrush is manufactured by fixing a bundle of nylon or PBT with a metal piece (called a flat wire) to a plurality of flocked holes provided in a head portion in advance. In addition, polypropylene (PP) is generally used as a material for the head portion in terms of cost and moldability. However, in order to make it easy to clean the corners of the mouth with the toothbrush, especially the back teeth, the thinner the head where the brush is implanted, the better the operability is. To do so, the thickness of the head cannot be reduced too much. For example, if the thickness of the head is reduced to 4 mm or less,
There was a problem that the head portion was curved by the stress due to the flocking, making it difficult to brush the teeth. Also,
As a method of not using a flat wire effective for reducing the thickness of the head portion, a method of fixing the hair bundle to the head portion by heat fusion (for example, JP-A-61-76104, JP-A-60-2)
41404, JP-A-2-99002 and the like, and a method by in-mold (for example, JP-A-60-116303).
No., JP-A-61-268208, Tokuhyo Hei 2-5031
50) and the thickness of the head portion is 2 to 4
mm (JP-A-61-76104). [0003] However, these flocking methods do not generate stress due to flocking as compared with the flocking method using a flat wire, but depending on the thickness of the head portion, the brushing force at the time of tooth brushing is reduced. There is a possibility that the head portion may be curved and deformed without being maintained, or the head portion may be broken and the inside of the oral cavity may be damaged depending on a flocking pattern. As an effective means for preventing such bending of the head portion, it is conceivable to use an engineering plastic resin such as nylon or polycarbonate or a polymer alloy such as PC / PBT as a material for the head portion.
There is a problem that the cost is higher and the moldability is not good as compared with general-purpose resins such as As a method for preventing the head portion from being curved, a toothbrush (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 6-54717) in which a convex portion is provided on the back surface of the head portion flocked surface has also been proposed. Although there is an effect of preventing breakage, the effect of preventing right and left curvature and breakage is not always sufficient. The present invention is intended to solve these conventional problems. Even a thin head using a versatile resin such as PP does not bend and deform at the time of flocking and use, and the head may be broken and the inside of the mouth may be damaged. It is an object of the present invention to provide an inexpensive toothbrush that can be easily and effectively cleaned to all corners in the oral cavity. According to the present invention, a brush is implanted in a handle head portion to form a hair implant portion, the head section on the opposite side to the hair implant portion has a substantially semicircular shape, and the head portion has Has one end substantially the same as the thickness of the handle neck and is connected to the neck, and the thickness of the handle is gradually reduced toward the tip of the head. The thickness b is 1 to 3 mm, and the thickness c of the side surface of the head is 1 to 3 mm. [0005] In an embodiment of the present invention, the cross section of the head portion opposite to the flocking portion is substantially semicircular, and one end of the head portion is substantially the same as the thickness of the handle neck portion and is connected to the neck portion. In addition, in the toothbrush whose head portion thickness gradually decreases toward the tip of the head portion, the handle neck portion thickness a is 4-6.
mm, the head portion tip thickness b is 1 to 3 mm, and the head portion side thickness c is 1 to 3 mm,
Excellent operability when brushing the back teeth and the back side of the teeth, and it is possible to obtain a toothbrush with high brushing power, and the difference in force applied when brushing the teeth and teeth of the person using the toothbrush The use test (N = 11) was performed with a 7-level evaluation of the ease of movement in the oral cavity during the brushing operation, and a result in a specific range was good. It was not good. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3. A brush 1 is implanted in a head portion 2 of a handle 3 to form a hair implantation portion, and a head opposite to the hair implantation portion is used. A toothbrush whose cross-sectional shape is substantially semicircular, and one end of the head portion is substantially the same as the thickness of the handle neck portion and continues to the neck portion, and the head portion thickness gradually decreases toward the tip of the head portion. a is 4 to 6 mm, the head portion tip thickness b is 1 to 3 mm, and the head portion side thickness c is 1 to 3 mm. The handle neck thickness a refers to the thickness of a portion in contact with the head portion 2 and the head portion tip thickness b
Means the thickness of the head portion of the root portion of the front end of the hair bundle in the front row of the flocking portion, and the head portion side thickness c is the head of the root portion of the hair bundle at the outermost end of the flocking portion Refers to part thickness. In addition, one end of the head 2 is connected to the neck 4 at the same thickness as the neck 4 of the handle 3, and the thickness of the head is reduced as it approaches the tip of the head. In addition, the toothbrush of the thin head can be excellent, and the cross-sectional shape of the head portion is a substantially semicircular shape having both side surfaces of the head portion. In this case, the reason why the neck thickness a is 4 mm to 6 mm is that even if the toothbrush handle is a general-purpose resin such as PP, the durability and the breaking strength when using the toothbrush can be satisfied, and the usability and operation during brushing can be achieved. Because it is possible to make a toothbrush with good properties,
The head part thickness b is 1 to 3 mm and the head side surface thickness c is 1 to 3 mm in order to improve the hair growth and the strength of the implanted hair bundle. If the size is smaller, the productivity of the toothbrush is poor, and the bristle and flock strength are poor. Conversely, if it is larger than these values, the usability and operability in the oral cavity are poor. [0009] The results of an experiment on the brushing operation using the toothbrush of this embodiment by a test, that is, the use test (N = 11) of the seven-level evaluation of the ease of movement in the oral cavity during the brushing operation was performed. As a result, good results were obtained in the specific range, and poor results were obtained outside the range. (FIG. 3) In the example shown in FIG. 2, in FIG. 2 (a), a fused mass 5 is formed at the base end of the brush 1 and implanted in the mold. The flocking of the hair bundle to the head portion 2 is performed by flat wire flocking, bonding with an adhesive, heat fusion flocking, or the like as necessary. From the viewpoint of handle cracking during planting and safety, heat fusion planting and in-mold planting are preferred, and in-mold planting is most preferred from the viewpoint of productivity. Further, as shown in FIGS. 2B, 2C, and 2D, the cross-sectional shape of the head portion 2 can be variously formed within the range of the head portion side surface thickness c. In this case, the flocking pattern is such that the flocks are always in contact with any tooth, such as molars, premolars, canines, incisors, etc., regardless of the type of tooth or the tooth region so that there is no unpolished hair, but the bristle bundles Not limited to this, it is possible to use a square bundle, an elliptical bundle, and a semicircular bundle to arrange the same bundle or a combined bundle. According to the present invention, a brush is implanted in a handle head portion to form a hair implantation portion, the cross section of the head portion opposite to the hair implantation portion is substantially semicircular, and one end of the head portion is a handle. In the toothbrush having substantially the same thickness as the neck portion and connected to the neck portion, and the head portion thickness gradually decreases toward the head portion tip, the handle neck portion thickness a is 4 to 6 mm, and the head portion tip thickness b is 1 33 mm and the head side surface thickness c is 1
By setting it to 3 mm, even a thin head using a versatile resin such as PP for the handle does not bend and deform at the time of flocking and use, and there is no danger of the head part being broken and damaging the oral cavity. It can be easily and effectively cleaned to every corner, preventing the curving and breaking of the head part during use, maintaining brushing force, enabling effective cleaning of the oral cavity, and general use Since it can be produced using a conductive resin, it has good practical properties, such as good moldability and low cost.
