Claims (2)
- 一方の極端子及び他方の極端子の間に複数個直列接続された二次電池と、
前記複数個直列接続された二次電池を、所定個ずつ第1段〜第n段のグループに分割して構成されるグループ毎に、そのグループ内の二次電池の電圧を個別に検出し、検出された前記グループ内の二次電池の電圧を基準電圧と比較し、前記グループ内の二次電池の電圧異常を検出する複数の検出手段と、
前記それぞれの検出手段で検出された電圧が前記基準電圧の範囲外である場合に、前記二次電池への充電電流又は前記二次電池からの放電電流を遮断する制御を行う、前記複数の検出手段毎に個別に設けられた複数のスイッチ素子と、
前記スイッチ素子及び前記グループ内の二次電池に接続され、前記スイッチ素子又は前記グループ内の二次電池に印加される電圧が所定電圧以上である場合に、前記スイッチ素子又は前記グループ内の二次電池に印加される電圧を制限する、前記グループ毎に設けられた複数の電圧制限素子と、を備え、
前記一方の極端子と前記第1段のグループの間に、前記第1段のグループの前記検出手段に設けられた前記スイッチ素子が接続され、前記第2段〜第n段のグループについては、前段及び後段のグループの間に、前記後段のグループの前記検出手段に設けられた前記スイッチ素子が接続される

前記スイッチ素子は電界効果トランジスタであり、
前記電界効果トランジスタのゲート端子に、前記検出手段から制御信号が供給され、ゲート端子とソース端子に前記電圧制限素子が接続される
