The present invention relates to a banknote binding machine for binding stacked banknotes on which a predetermined number of loose banknotes are stacked.

As a technique related to a banknote binding machine that binds stacked banknotes on which a predetermined number of loose banknotes are stacked, one side portion in the longitudinal direction of a pair of holding members provided in the moving front by moving the stacked banknotes along the short direction And sandwiching the stacked banknotes with a pair of clamping members while sandwiching the binding tape, and then rotating the pair of clamping members to wind and bind the binding tapes, and then collecting the stacked banknotes from the pair of clamping members. There is one that is extruded along the longitudinal direction with the binding tape.
JP-A-8-164917

When the stacked banknotes are fed and bundled in the short direction as described above and then pushed out in the longitudinal direction, separate mechanisms are required, the structure becomes complicated, the size increases, and the cost increases. was there.

Therefore, an object of this invention is to provide the banknote binding machine which can simplify a structure, can be reduced in size, and can reduce manufacturing cost.

In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the invention according to claim 1 is configured such that a stacked banknote in a state where a predetermined number of loose banknotes are stacked is clamped from both sides in the stacking direction while being bent by a pair of clamping members, and the pair of clamping members In the banknote binding machine that winds and binds a binding tape around the stacked banknotes sandwiched between the stacked banknotes, the pair of the stacked banknotes are moved forward in the one direction along the longitudinal direction of the pair of the stacked banknotes. After the bundled tape is wound around and bundled around the stacked banknotes sandwiched between the pair of sandwiching members, the stacked banknotes are moved in the opposite direction along the longitudinal direction thereof, and the pair And a guide that supports a lower portion on the front end side when the stacked banknote moves in the one direction, and the guide is provided so as to be movable up and down. The guide is in a raised state until the insertion start position where the stacked banknote starts to enter between the pair of holding members when the stacked banknote moves in the one direction, and is lowered after the insertion start position. The stacked banknotes are in the lowered state before being pulled out from between the pair of holding members during the movement in the reverse direction, and are in the raised state after the pre-drawing position. .

According to the first aspect of the present invention, the stacked banknotes are moved in one direction along the longitudinal direction thereof, and the moving front end side is sandwiched by the pair of sandwiching members disposed forward of the movement, and is sandwiched by these sandwiching members. After winding the binding tape around the stacked banknotes and binding them, the stacked banknotes are moved in the opposite direction along the longitudinal direction and pulled out together with the binding tape from the pair of holding members. The movement only needs to be reciprocated in one direction and the opposite direction along the longitudinal direction. Therefore, the structure can be simplified and the size can be reduced, and the manufacturing cost can be reduced.

By sending the stacked banknotes in the longitudinal direction, the stacked banknotes are likely to hang down. However, a guide that supports the lower part on the tip side when moving in one direction of the stacked banknotes is provided so that it can be raised and lowered. If it is raised at a position close to the sandwiching member, it is possible to reliably prevent the hanging of the stacked banknotes before entering between the pair of sandwiching members, and to securely enter the stacked banknotes between the pair of sandwiching members, Further, when the guide is lowered, it is possible to prevent the stacked banknotes and the binding tape from coming into contact with the guide with a strong force even if the stacked banknotes are bent by sandwiching the pair of clamping members. It can be easily removed from the pair of holding members while preventing the deviation and the like.

Further, the guide is in a raised state until the insertion start position where the stacked banknote starts to enter between the pair of sandwiching members when moving in one direction of the stacked banknote, so that the stacked banknote enters between the pair of sandwiching members. It is possible to surely prevent the occurrence of sagging in front and allow the stacked banknotes to enter between the pair of sandwiching members, and when the stacked banknotes are moved in the reverse direction, the stacked banknotes are pulled out from between the pair of sandwiching members. By being lowered to the pre-drawing position, it is possible to prevent the stacked banknotes and the binding tape from being moved in a state of being in contact with the guide with a strong force even if the stacked banknotes are bent by holding the pair of holding members. The stacked banknotes after binding can be easily pulled out from the pair of holding members while reliably preventing the binding tape from being displaced.

The banknote binding machine of one Embodiment of this invention is demonstrated below with reference to drawings.

The banknote binding machine 11 of this embodiment is specialized for binding, and is provided on the front side (operator side) and upper side of the machine body as shown in FIG. Hopper 12 (feeding section), a feeding section 13 provided on the rear side of the hopper 12 in the longitudinal direction of the machine body and separating and feeding bills inserted into the hopper 12 one by one, and the feeding section 13 It has the conveyance part 14 which conveys a banknote, and the identification part 15 which is provided in the conveyance part 14 and identifies the banknote conveyed by this conveyance part 14. FIG.

In the hopper 12, loose banknotes are thrown in such a state that the longitudinal direction is along the left-right direction of the machine body, and the conveyance unit 14 is in a state where the banknotes fed out from the feeding unit 13 are separated one by one. The sheet is transported in a posture in which the short direction (width direction) is aligned with the transport direction. Here, the conveying unit 14 extends from the hopper 12 so as to be lowered rearward and rearward in the front-rear direction of the machine body, and then extends horizontally in the vicinity of the rear end of the machine body and forward in the front-rear direction of the machine body. In addition, the identification unit 15 is provided at the rear lower part of the transport unit 14 immediately after the hopper 12. The identification unit 15 identifies the denomination, true / false, correctness, front / back direction, top / bottom direction, and the like from the image data of the banknote.

The banknote binding machine 11 is provided at the end position of the transport unit 14 and receives the banknotes. The banknote binding machine 11 is predetermined in the vertical direction in a state where the longitudinal direction is along the left and right direction of the body and the short side direction is along the longitudinal direction of the body. A stacking unit 18 that stacks the number of sheets (100 sheets) to form stacked banknotes, a branching transport unit 19 that branches from a middle position of the transporting unit 14 and extends upward, and a terminal position of the branching transporting unit 19 are provided. In the state where the banknotes are received and received, the reject unit 20 that allows the banknotes to be taken out from the machine, and the branching unit 19 is provided with the branching unit 19 in the branching position of the branching unit 19. It switches to the state which conveys to the rejection part 20, in other words, it has the distribution part 21 which distributes a banknote to the stacking part 18 and the rejection part 20. FIG.

Here, since this embodiment is the banknote binding machine 11, the control unit 22 causes the banknotes to be fed one by one by the feeding unit 13 from the hopper 12, transported by the transporting unit 14, and identified by the identifying unit 15. Based on the identification result, the distribution unit 21 distributes the binding target banknotes to the stacking unit 18 and the banknotes other than the binding target to the rejection unit 20.

The reject unit 20 is provided below the hopper 12 at the front of the machine body. Between the hopper 12 and the reject unit 20 at the front of the machine, a display is made to the operator and an operation input from the operator is received. A display operation unit (operation unit) 23 is provided.

The banknote binding machine 11 has a binding section 25 that binds the stacked banknotes fed forward from the stacking section 18 with a binding tape at a position on the front side of the stacking section 18 in the longitudinal direction of the body and at the front of the body. ing. The stacking unit 18 and the binding unit 25 constitute a stacking and binding unit 26 that stacks and bundles a predetermined number of banknotes.

The bill binding machine 11 has a bundle discharge port 28 for discharging the bundled stacked banknotes S to the outside of the machine on the front side of the binding unit 25 in the longitudinal direction of the machine body. A storage box 29 for receiving the bundled stacked banknotes S is arranged.

The banknote binding machine 11 has a display description section 31 that prints the date or stamps a predetermined information stamp on the binding tape of the stacked banknotes S that is bound under the binding section 25. The tape storage unit 34 for storing the binding tape is provided on the rear side in the longitudinal direction of the machine body, and the power supply unit 32 and the control unit 22 are provided on the rear side of the stacking unit 18.

Here, the control part 22 will determine the start of a bundling process, if a loose banknote is thrown into the hopper 12. FIG. In other words, the hopper 12 is provided with a sensor 33 that instructs the control unit 22 to start the bundling process by detecting that a banknote has been inserted. A start button may be provided, and the start of the bundling process may be determined by pressing the start button. In addition to the sensor 33, the banknote binding machine 11 is provided with sensors for detecting banknotes in each part.

Next, the stacking unit 26 will be further described.

As shown in FIG. 2, the stacking unit 26 includes a stacking unit 18 that stacks a predetermined number (100 sheets) of banknotes at a stacking position in a state in which the longitudinal direction is aligned with the left-right direction of the machine body. The pusher that moves the stacked banknotes S at the stacking position of the stacking unit 18 from the rear side in the front-rear direction of the machine body to the front clamp position in the front-rear direction of the machine body in the stacked state horizontally along the short direction. 40. Further, the stacking unit 26 clamps the stacked banknotes S moved to the clamp position by the pusher 40 and moves the stacked banknotes S along the longitudinal direction by a predetermined distance to the horizontal side, specifically to the left of the machine body as viewed from the operator. A pair of clamp portions 41 that reach the binding position, and a portion on the moving tip side of the stacked bills S provided on the left side of the machine body as viewed from the operator in front of the movement of the stacked bills S that are moved by the clamp portion 41. The stacked banknotes S sandwiched between the upper sandwiching member 42 and the lower sandwiching member 43 while being bent in a substantially mountain shape by the upper sandwiching member 42 and the lower sandwiching member 43 are sandwiched from both sides in the stacking direction. It has a bundling portion 25 for winding and bundling a bundling tape around it.

Here, FIG. 2 shows a positional relationship among the stacking unit 18, the pusher 40, the clamp unit 41, and the binding unit 25, and details of each unit are omitted. Further, in FIG. 2, the clamp part 41 and the binding part 25 are described so as to be largely separated from each other, but this explains how the stacked banknotes S are moved from the clamp part 41 to the binding part 25. However, the banknotes are actually placed on the lower clamping member 43 of the bundling portion 25 by moving the stacked banknotes S by about half the length in the longitudinal direction as shown in FIG. Is far enough to When a predetermined number (100) of banknotes are stacked on the stacking unit 18, the control unit 22 immediately stops the feeding unit 13, the transport unit 14, and the branch transport unit 19, and the clamp unit 41 and the binding unit. 25, the stacked banknote S is moved from the stacking unit 18 to the clamp position by the pusher 40 on the condition that the stacked banknote S before binding and the stacked banknote S after binding do not exist. After the banknote S is clamped by the clamp part 41, the pusher 40 is returned to a position behind the banknote at the stacking position, and when the pusher 40 returns to this position, the feeding part 13, the transport part 14 and the branch transport part 19 are driven. The accumulation in the accumulation unit 18 is resumed.

The clamp unit 41 moves the stacked banknotes S at the clamp position to the binding position by moving a predetermined distance in one direction along the longitudinal direction of the stacked banknotes S in the stacked state while keeping the stacked banknotes S. It is also moved in the reverse direction along the longitudinal direction.

The clamp part 41 has a traveling base part 45 extending horizontally along the left-right direction of the machine body, and a clamp base 46 fixed to the airframe, and extends horizontally along the left-right direction of the body above the traveling base part 45. It has a guide shaft 47 that is rotatably supported at a fixed position on the clamp base 46 so as to exist.

Moreover, the clamp part 41 has the mounting base 49 which mounts on the upper surface the opposite side to the binding part 25 of the stack | stacking banknote S in a clamp position above the guide shaft 47, and travels under this mounting base 49. It includes a roller 50 that rolls about a shaft along the longitudinal direction of the machine body on the base 45 and a clamp assembly 51 that is guided by a guide shaft 47 and moves in the lateral direction of the machine body while rolling the roller 50.

Furthermore, the clamp part 41 is fixed to the bundling part 25 side of the guide shaft 47 and places the bundling part 25 side of the stacked banknote S in the clamp position on the upper surface, and the stacked banknote S in the clamp position. And a guide 54 for placing the bundling portion 25 side on the upper surface of the mounting arm 53. The upper surface of the mounting table 49 and the upper surface of the mounting arm 53 are always provided on the same plane, and the upper surface of the guide 54 can also be positioned on the same plane, and as a result, the upper surface of the guide 54 is moved from the stacking position to the clamping position. The collected banknotes S can be placed on the placing table 49, the placing arm 53, and the guide 54 while maintaining the horizontal orientation.

The clamp assembly 51 is driven by a guide cam link mechanism (not shown) controlled by the control unit 22 to be guided by the guide shaft 47 and from the standby position farthest from the binding unit 25 shown by a solid line in FIG. It reciprocates in the above-mentioned one direction and the reverse direction until it reaches the forward position closest to the binding portion 25 shown by a two-dot chain line in FIG. The clamp assembly 51 places the opposite side of the bundled portion 25 of the stacked banknotes S moved from the stacking position to the clamp position on the upper surface of the mounting table 49 when in the standby position.

The clamp assembly 51 includes a support column 56 provided so as to rise upward on the opposite side to the binding unit 25 of the mounting table 49, and a support shaft 57 provided on the support column 56 along the longitudinal direction of the machine body. The support shaft 57 has a clamp arm 58 supported at an intermediate portion so as to rotate about the support shaft 57.

The clamp arm 58 is configured to extend along the guide shaft 47, and the cam follower 59 is rotatable about an axis along the longitudinal direction of the machine body at the end opposite to the binding portion 25 with respect to the support shaft 57. The clamp member 60 that is supported and clamps the stacked banknotes S at the clamp position at the end portion on the bundling portion 25 side with respect to the support shaft 57 with the mounting table 49 is supported so as to be swingable about an axis along the longitudinal direction of the machine body. Has been. Here, when the clamp assembly 51 is in the standby position, the clamp member 60 sandwiches the end portion on the opposite side of the bundled portion 25 of the stacked banknotes S with the mounting table 49 in the vertical direction. The clamp arm 58 is biased by a spring (not shown) in a direction (a counterclockwise direction in FIG. 3) in which the clamp member 60 is moved downward about the support shaft 57.

When the clamp assembly 51 is in the standby position, a drive cam mechanism (not shown) provided on the machine body is configured to abut on the cam follower 59 from above, and the drive cam mechanism clamps the cam follower 59 downward, that is, clamps. The member 60 is moved upward to separate the clamp member 60 from the stacked banknote S, or the cam follower 59 is moved upward, that is, the clamp member 60 is moved downward to clamp the stacked banknote S between the mounting table 49 and the clamp member 60. To do.

The clamp assembly 51 is configured such that only the mounting table 49 can be fixed to the guide shaft 47 in the rotational direction by, for example, a key and a key groove (not shown). By being rotated, the mounting table 49 rotates around the guide shaft 47 together with the mounting arm 53 fixed to the guide shaft 47 and tilts forward of the machine body so that the stacked banknotes S are bundled forward of the machine body. The sliding bundle discharge port 28 is made to discharge.

The guide 54 is supported on the side of the binding part 25 in the clamp base 46 so as to be movable up and down, and the upper part thereof is bent and extended toward the side of the binding part 25 so as to be disposed close to the lower clamping member 43 for fixing the position of the binding part 25. The lower part is connected to a plate cam 64 for raising and lowering the guide 54 in conjunction with the movement of the clamp assembly 51 by a pin 65 extending in the longitudinal direction of the machine body.

The plate cam 64 is made of a long plate material, extends along the moving direction of the clamp assembly 51, the end portion on the bundling portion 25 side is connected to the guide 54 with a pin 65, and the opposite end portion is connected to the guide 54. It is connected to a support shaft 66 below the clamp base 46 along the longitudinal direction of the machine body so as to be rotatable about this. The plate cam 64 is urged by the urging force of the spring 67 in the direction in which the pin 65 is raised, and stops at the rotation limit in this direction by contacting a stopper (not shown). Is in the upper limit position. The plate cam 64 has an upper surface on the opposite side to the bundling portion 25 as a first cam surface 68 having a low height, and an upper surface on the bundling portion 25 side as a second cam surface 69 having a high height. The upper surface is an inclined cam surface 70 connecting them.

In the clamp assembly 51, a roller 73 such as a bearing is provided on the side of the lower bundling portion 25 so as to be rotatable about an axis along the longitudinal direction of the machine body while being fixed to the clamp assembly 51. Is disposed above the upper surface of the plate cam 64. The roller 73 does not contact the first cam surface 68 of the plate cam 64 when the clamp assembly 51 is in a predetermined range on the standby position side. As a result, the plate cam 64 does not move up and down at all, so that the guide 54 has an upper limit. Held in position. Further, when the clamp assembly 51 is in a predetermined range on the advance position side, the roller 73 is mounted on the second cam surface 69 from the inclined cam surface 70 of the plate cam 64 to move the plate cam 64 in the direction in which the pin 65 is lowered. Then, the guide 54 is lowered and positioned at the lower limit position. That is, the first cam surface 68 of the plate cam 64 is a horizontal maintaining surface that does not contact the roller 73 and maintains the plate cam 64 substantially horizontally, and the second cam surface 69 causes the plate cam 64 to move up and down. It is said.

At the time of horizontal movement in one direction from the clamp position (position where the stacked banknote S is indicated by a solid line in FIG. 3) to the binding position of the stacked banknote S which is clamped and moved by the clamp assembly 51, the stacked banknote S is Until a predetermined insertion start position (a position where the stacked banknotes S are indicated by a two-dot chain line in FIG. 3 and a position shown in FIG. 5) starts to enter between the pair of upper and lower clamping members 42 and 43, the clamp assembly 51 After the roller 73 is on the first cam surface 68 and the guide 54 is in the raised state, that is, in the upper limit position, after the insertion start position (from the position indicated by the two-dot chain line in FIG. 6 (for example, in the binding position shown in FIG. 6), the roller 73 is on the second cam surface 69 and the guide 54 is in the lowered state, that is, the lower limit position. . Thus, until the insertion start position, the height position of the state where the guide 54 has received the stacked banknotes S moved to the clamp position is maintained, and the height of the upper surface of the lower holding member 43 is substantially matched. Therefore, the transfer of the stacked banknotes S onto the lower clamping member 43 at the end of the bundled bill 25 is reliably guided. That is, when the clamp assembly 51 is in the standby position and the guide 54 is in the upper limit position, the base 63 is at the time of the above-described one-way movement toward the binding portion 25 side, that is, the binding portion 25 side of the stacked banknote S in the clamp position. The upper end of the guide 54 at the upper limit position and the upper surface of the lower clamping member 43 of the binding portion 25 are arranged at substantially the same height, and the stacked banknotes S are lowered from the upper surface of the guide 54. The transfer can be smoothly performed on the upper surface of the holding member 43.

Here, when viewed from the clamp part 41 side along the moving direction of the stacked banknotes S, the lower clamping member 43 is substantially equal to the width (short direction length) of the stacked banknotes S as shown in FIG. Or the width | variety is a little shorter than the width | variety of the banknote S, and it is formed in the mountain shape where the center is high and both sides are low. That is, the lower clamping member 43 has a horizontal central mounting surface 75 and a side inclined surface 76 that is inclined so that the height decreases toward the outer side of both sides thereof. Further, when viewed from a horizontal direction orthogonal to the above, the lower clamping member 43 has a front inclined surface 77 whose height decreases toward the clamp portion 41 side at the upper portion on the clamp portion 41 side, as shown in FIG. Is formed. The central mounting surface 75 of the lower clamping member 43 is substantially equal in height to the guide 54 at the upper limit position, and the lowest position of the front inclined surface 77 is lower than the guide 54 at the upper limit position. It is higher than the guide 54 in the above.

The upper clamping member 42 is also formed by bending a thin plate into a mountain shape having a high center and low both sides so as to substantially coincide with the upper surface of the lower clamping member 43. That is, the upper clamping member 42 includes a horizontal central plate portion 79 and side inclined plate portions 80 that are inclined so that the height is lower toward the outer side of both sides thereof.

The stacked banknotes S moved in one direction along the longitudinal direction to the binding position, the lower holding member 43 of the upper holding member 42 whose moving tip side, that is, the portion on the binding part 25 side can be raised and lowered. Due to the proximity to the upper pinching member 42, the upper pinching member 42 and the lower pinching member 43 are pinched while being slightly bent into a substantially mountain shape. In this state, as shown in FIG. 6, the binding tape T is wound around the sandwiched portion of the stacked banknotes S together with the upper sandwiching member 42 and the lower sandwiching member 43. During this binding, the stacked banknotes S are bent so that both sides in the short direction follow the shape of the side inclined surface 76 and the side inclined plate portion 80 as shown in FIG. As shown in FIG. 5, the guide 54 is lower than the guide 54 at the upper limit position where the height matches the central placement surface 75, but the guide 54 is shown in FIG. Since it is positioned at the lower limit position, it does not interfere with the stacked banknotes S.

The stacked banknotes S after being bound by the binding portion 25 are moved in the reverse direction along the longitudinal direction by the clamp portion 41 while being sandwiched by the upper sandwiching member 42 and the lower sandwiching member 43. The bundled banknotes S are pulled out together with the binding tape T from the pair of upper and lower clamping members 42 and 43. When the stacked banknotes S are moved in the reverse direction from the binding position to the clamp position, the stacked banknotes S are paired. The roller 73 of the clamp assembly 51 is moved to the second cam surface 69 until the position before the withdrawal (the position where the stacked banknotes S are indicated by a two-dot chain line in FIG. 3) before being pulled out from between the upper clamping member 42 and the lower clamping member 43. The guide 54 is in the lowered state, and the roller of the clamp assembly 51 is on the first cam surface 68 and the guide 54 is in the raised state after the position before pulling out. It is set to. Here, when the guide 54 is completely raised, the second cam surface 69 and the inclined cam surface 70 are set so that the stacked banknote S is completely pulled out from between the upper holding member 42 and the lower holding member 43.

As shown in FIG. 4, the binding unit 25 includes a lower clamping member 43 that is fixed in position, an upper clamping member 42 that moves up and down on the upper side of the lower clamping member 43, and an unillustrated drive unit that raises and lowers the upper clamping member 42. In the state where the upper clamping member 42 is raised, the stacked banknote S is formed between the upper clamping member 42 and the lower clamping member 43 as shown by a two-dot chain line in FIG. Inserted between. The bundling portion 25 has a horizontally long elliptical or track-shaped tape winding guide 84 that is provided so as to surround the upper clamping member 42 and the lower clamping member 43 in the longitudinal direction of the machine body. The tape winding guide 84 has an opening 85 formed below itself and below the lower holding member 43, and the outside of the upper holding member 42 and the lower holding member 43 except for the opening 85. It is going around.

The binding unit 25 is provided with a tape supply unit 86 that supplies the binding tape T to the front side in the longitudinal direction of the machine body, which is one side of the opening 85 of the tape winding guide 84. The tape supply unit 86 is provided below the opening 85 and has a pair of upper and lower insertion guides 87 for guiding the binding tape T in the vertical direction, and a pair of upper and lower tape supply units for feeding the binding tape T through the insertion guide 87. And a roller 88. The pair of insertion guides 87 are substantially along the tangential direction of the tape winding guide 84 between the tape winding guide 84 and the lower holding member 43 in the tape winding guide 84 from one side via the opening 85. The binding tape T is sent out in a posture. The pair of insertion guides 87 are inclined so as to be positioned on the upper side as they are separated from the tape supply roller 88 so that the binding tape T can be guided as described above.

Further, in the binding unit 25, tape sensors 90 and 91 for detecting the position in the tape winding guide 84 of the binding tape T sent out by the tape supply roller 88 are separated in the circumferential direction of the tape winding guide 84. A plurality are provided. Specifically, in order to detect that the binding tape T has satisfactorily passed between the tape winding guide 84 and the lower clamping member 43 in the tape winding guide 84, it is relatively close to the opening 85 on the winding start side. A tape sensor 90 is provided at the position, and the end of the turn is used to detect that the binding tape T has been fed well so as to go around the upper holding member 42 and the lower holding member 43 in the tape winding guide 84. The tape sensor 91 is provided at a position relatively close to the opening 85. Here, as the tape sensors 90 and 91, reflective optical sensors can be used.

In addition, the binding unit 25 includes a cutting mechanism 94 that cuts the binding tape T supplied from the tape supply unit 86 so as to circulate around the stacked banknotes S below the opening 85 of the tape winding guide 84. The cutting and bonding unit 96 includes an adhesive mechanism 95 that thermally bonds the cutting side of the binding tape T fed from the tape supply unit 86 to the leading end side of the binding tape T.

The entire cutting and bonding unit 96 is provided so as to be movable up and down with respect to the airframe. That is, the cutting and bonding unit 96 is provided with a cutting mechanism 94 and a unit frame 98 that holds the bonding mechanism 95 so as to be movable up and down with respect to the machine body. The unit frame 98 is moved up and down by a drive unit including a cam link mechanism (not shown). .

In the unit frame 98, a tape guide hole 100 for inserting the binding tape T is formed adjacent to the guide end portions of the pair of upper and lower insertion guides 87 in the upper portion of the wall plate portion 99 on the tape supply portion 86 side. Further, the unit frame 98 rises into the tape winding guide 84 through the opening 85 so that the upper end pressing portion 101 on the upper side of the tape guide hole 100 of the wall plate 99 is the tape supply portion 86 on the lower surface of the lower holding member 43. It can come into contact with the side. That is, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 7, the unit frame 98 strongly pushes the upper end pressing portion 101 against the lower clamping member 43 from the standby position slightly spaced from the lower clamping member 43 as shown in FIGS. 8 to 11. It can be moved up and down to the pressing position.

The cutting mechanism 94 is disposed adjacent to the opposite side to the tape supply portion 86 of the wall plate portion 99 of the unit frame 98, and a cutter (cutting means) 103 that slides relative to the unit frame 98 along the wall plate portion 99; A support member 102 that supports the cutter 103 in a fixed state and is slidably supported with respect to the unit frame 98, and a drive unit that includes a cam link mechanism (not shown) that reciprocates the support member 102 and the cutter 103. ing. When the cutter 103 is at the lower limit position, the cutting edge 104 at the upper end is located below the tape guide hole 100 so that the tape guide hole 100 is completely opened. From this state, the tape guide hole 100 is completely opened. The binding tape T is cut with the cutting edge 104 by sliding to close. Note that the cutter 103 does not protrude above the upper end pressing portion 101 even if it is slid so as to completely close the tape guide hole 100 and is positioned at the upper limit position. Here, the cutting edge 104 of the cutter 103 has a shape as shown in FIG. 12, and as shown in FIG. 12C, it has a shape in which a plurality of mountain shapes are arranged at equal pitches when viewed from the front side in the moving direction. ing. As a result, the cutter 103 cuts the binding tape T into a jagged shape in which a plurality of chevron shapes are arranged as shown in FIG.

The adhesion mechanism 95 includes a heater (adhesion means) 106 disposed on the support member 102 of the cutting mechanism 94 with an interval on the opposite side of the cutter 103 from the tape supply unit 86, and the heater 106 with respect to the support member 102. And a drive unit including a cam link mechanism (not shown) that moves up and down. Here, the unit frame 98 moves vertically up and down in a straight line, the support member 102 of the cutting mechanism 94 also moves up and down in a straight line up and down with respect to the unit frame 98, and the heater 106 also supports the support member 102. On the other hand, the heater 106 moves up and down in a straight line, so that the heater 106 moves back and forth linearly in the vertical up and down direction, that is, in the stacking direction of the stacked banknotes S, thereby approaching and separating from the stacked banknotes S. Here, the upper surface of the heater 106 that extends horizontally generates heat. When the heater 106 is in the lower limit position, the support member 102 is not in contact with the binding tape T if the support member 102 is in the lower limit position regardless of the elevation position of the unit frame 98, and the unit frame 98 is in the pressing position and the support member 102. When it moves to the upper limit position when it is at the upper limit position, it comes into contact with the binding tape T and strongly presses it against the lower clamping member 43 side.

Regarding the binding unit 25 having the above-described configuration, the control unit 22 stacks a predetermined number of banknotes to be bound by the stacking unit 18 from the state where the unit frame 98 is at the lower limit standby position and the cutter 103 and the heater 106 are both at the lower limit position. As a result, the supply of the binding tape T described above is started by using the pusher 40 to start the movement of the stacked banknote S from the stacking position to the clamp position.

That is, the control unit 22 drives the pair of tape supply rollers 88 of the tape supply unit 86 from the state shown in FIG. 4 to send out the binding tape T sandwiched between them. Then, the bundling tape T is fed out while being guided by the pair of insertion guides 87, so that the front end portion thereof comes out of the tape guide hole 100 of the unit frame 98, and the tape winding guide from the opening 85 of the tape winding guide 84. It passes between 84 and the lower clamping member 43 and moves along the inner surface of the tape winding guide 84. As a result, the binding tape T wraps around the outer sides of the pair of upper and lower holding members 42 and 43 so as to make one round.

When the control unit 22 supplies the binding tape T with the tape supply unit 86 for a predetermined time from when the leading end of the binding tape T is detected by the sensor 91, the leading end of the binding tape T is cut below the lower holding member 43. As shown in FIG. 7, the upper end of the wall plate 99 of the bonding unit 96 is stopped before reaching the wall plate 108 on the opposite side of the tape supply unit 86 as shown in FIG.

The binding tape T is sent out as described above, and the bundled banknotes S transferred from the stacking position to the clamp position by the pusher 40 and the clamp assembly 51 in the clamped state are bound in parallel with the binding tape T. On the condition that the transfer to the position is completed, the control unit 22 lowers the upper holding member 42 in the direction of the lower holding member 43, and the stacked banknotes S are collected by the upper holding member 42 and the lower holding member 43. Clamp from both sides in the stacking direction. Then, as shown in FIG. 8, the stacked banknotes S are clamped in a state of being slightly bent into a mountain shape following the shape of the upper clamping member 42 and the lower clamping member 43. Here, as shown in FIG. 6, the guide 54 that has been raised to guide the stacked banknotes S to the upper surface of the lower clamping member 43 is in a lowered state at this time, and the both sides are lowered due to the bending of the stacked banknotes S. Even if there is, there is no interference.

Also, the control unit 22 raises the cutting and bonding unit 96 at the pressing position as shown in FIG. 8 simultaneously with the start of the lowering of the upper clamping member 42, and the upper end pressing portion 101 of the wall plate portion 99 causes the binding tape T to move. The front end side is pressed against the lower surface of the lower clamping member 43 with a strong force. In order to securely press the binding tape T, the upper end pressing portion 101 may be shaped so that the binding tape T does not slide easily, or a high friction member may be attached to the upper end pressing portion 101. The opposite wall plate portion 108 is slightly lower than the wall plate portion 99 and is not pressed against the lower surface of the lower clamping member 43 that pushes up the binding tape T.

Then, in a state where the stacked banknotes S are clamped by the upper clamping member 42 and the lower clamping member 43 and the binding tape T is pressed against the lower clamping member 43 by the upper end pressing portion 101 of the cutting and bonding unit 96, the control unit 22 The tape supply roller 88 of the supply unit 86 is reversed. Then, as shown in FIG. 9, the leading end side of the binding tape T is pressed, and the tape supply unit 86 side of the binding tape T passes through the tape guide hole 100 of the cutting adhesive unit 96 and is not pressed. T is wound up by the tape supply unit 86. As a result, the loop of the binding tape T along the inner peripheral surface of the tape winding guide 84 becomes smaller, and the binding tape T is eventually sandwiched between the upper clamping member 42 and the lower clamping member 43 as shown in FIG. The stacked banknotes S are wound around the bundling portion 25 side and become tensioned.

When a predetermined time has elapsed since the start of winding the binding tape T and the binding tape T can be regarded as being in tension, the control unit 22 stops the tape supply roller 88 and puts it in the pressing position as shown in FIG. The cutter 103 located at the lower limit position in a certain cutting and bonding unit 96 is raised to the upper limit position. Then, the cutter 103 cuts the binding tape T with the cutting edge 104 at its upper end cooperating with the edge portion at the upper end of the tape guide hole 100.

Immediately after the cutting of the binding tape T, the heater 106 that supports the cut side portion of the binding tape T is supported from below, but the control unit 22 restricts the cutting side portion from being lifted by the lower surface of the lower clamping member 43. The heater 106 is raised toward the upper limit position as shown in FIG. 11 so as to be pressed and thermally bonded to the tip side portion of the binding tape T thus formed. Thereby, the cutting side part is thermally bonded to the surface side of the front end side part of the binding tape T. Then, when a predetermined time has passed since the heater 106 starts to rise, the control unit 22 lowers the cutter 103 and the heater 106 to the lower limit position with respect to the cutting and bonding unit 96, and at the same time the cutting and bonding unit 96 Lower to the standby position. Thus, the bundling tape T is wound around the stacked banknotes S so as to be bound. Since the cutter 103 is separated from the heater 106 by a predetermined distance toward the tape supply unit 86, the heater 106 is not thermally bonded to the cut end of the binding tape T as shown in FIG. While forming the heat bonding part 110, the heat bonding part 111 heat-bonded inside is formed. Note that the end portion of the non-thermal bonding portion 110 has a serrated shape in which a plurality of chevron shapes are arranged according to the shape of the cutting edge 104 of the cutter 103.

When the cutter 103 and the heater 106 are lowered to the lower limit position with respect to the cutting adhesive unit 96 and the cutting adhesive unit 96 is also lowered to the standby position, the control unit 22 moves the clamp assembly 51 in the reverse direction toward the standby position. Thus, the stacked banknotes S clamped by the clamp member 60 and the mounting table 49 of the clamp assembly 51 are pulled while being held by the upper holding member 42 and the lower holding member 43 by the winding of the binding tape T. Then, it is pulled out together with the binding tape T from the pair of upper clamping member 42 and lower clamping member 43, and then returns to the clamp position by returning the clamp assembly 51 to the standby position. At this time, as described above, until the bundled stacked banknote S is pulled out from between the upper clamping member 42 and the lower clamping member 43 (before the stacked banknote S is indicated by a two-dot chain line in FIG. 3). Since the guide 54 is maintained in the lowered state, even if the both sides of the binding tape T are positioned below the center due to the bending due to the sandwiching of the stacked banknotes S, the stacked banknotes S and the guides 54 are not interfered with each other. Pull out well together.

Then, when the bundled banknote S after being bundled returns to the clamp position by finally returning the clamp assembly 51 to the standby position, the guide 54 is also raised, and the bundled banknote after being bundled together with the mounting arm 53 and the mounting table 49. S is supported. When the clamp assembly 51 returns to the standby position, the control unit 22 raises the clamp member 60 to release the clamp with the mounting table 49.

Then, after the clamp is released, the control unit 22 tilts the mounting arm 53 and the mounting table 49 about the guide shaft 47 toward the front of the machine body, thereby sliding the bundled stacked banknotes S forward of the machine body and releasing the bundle discharge port 28. It is discharged from the storage box 29 and dropped. Here, the guide shaft 47 is positioned slightly below the front side of the clamp unit 41 in the longitudinal direction of the machine body, and swings by a predetermined angle so that the ends of the mounting table 49 and the mounting arm 53 on the stacking unit 18 side rise. Then, the mounting table 49 returns to a horizontal state.

Since the tape winding guide 84 is provided so that the bundling portion 25 surrounds the stacked banknotes S as described above, and the cutting adhesive unit 96 is provided on the opening 85 side of the tape winding guide 84, the bundling portion 25 is bound. Since it is difficult to mark the date or stamp on the subsequent binding tape T, the display description unit 31 prints or stamps the date on the binding tape T in front of the tape supply roller 88 of the tape supply unit 86 in advance. Or imprint a mark. That is, since the amount of the binding tape T used can be calculated in advance when binding by the binding unit 25 described above, the control unit 22 accumulates the date and stamp from the positional relationship between the tape supply roller 88 and the display description unit 31. The printing position and the stamping position are determined so as to be the desired position of the binding tape T in the banknote S, and the printing and the stamping are controlled in the middle of the supply in conjunction with the supply operation of the binding tape T.

According to the banknote binding machine 11 of the present embodiment described above, the pair of upper clamping members 42 and the lower part are arranged such that the stacked banknotes S are moved in one direction along the longitudinal direction thereof and the moving front end side is disposed forward of the movement. The bundled paper S is wound around the stacked banknotes S sandwiched between the upper sandwiched member 42 and the lower sandwiched member 43 and wound around the stacked banknotes S, and then the stacked banknotes S are reversed in the longitudinal direction. Therefore, the stacked banknotes S can be moved in one direction and in the opposite direction along the longitudinal direction when being bundled, because they are pulled out together with the binding tape T from the pair of upper and lower holding members 42 and 43. become. Therefore, the structure can be simplified and the size can be reduced, and the manufacturing cost can be reduced.

In addition, as described above, the stacked banknotes S are sent in the longitudinal direction, so that the stacked banknotes S are likely to hang down. However, the guide 54 that supports the lower portion on the front end side when the stacked banknotes S move in one direction can be raised and lowered. Therefore, if the guide 54 is raised at a position close to the pair of the upper and lower holding members 42 and 43, it hangs down before entering between the upper and lower holding members 42 and 43 of the stacked banknote S. Can be surely prevented so that the stacked banknotes S can enter between the pair of upper and lower holding members 42 and 43, and the guide 54 can be lowered to lower the pair of upper and lower holding members 42 and 42. Even if the stacked banknotes S are bent by the clamping member 43, the stacked banknotes S and the binding tape T can be prevented from coming into contact with the guide 54 with a strong force, and the stacked banknotes S after binding are bound. It can be pulled out easily from the clamping on the pair members 42 and the lower holding member 43 on which to prevent displacement of the tape T.

Specifically, the guide 54 is in a raised state until the insertion start position where the stacked banknote S starts to enter between the pair of upper and lower holding members 42 and 43 when moving in one direction. Thus, it is possible to reliably prevent the hanging of the stacked banknote S between the upper sandwiching member 42 and the lower sandwiching member 43 by reliably preventing the sag from entering between the upper sandwiching member 42 and the lower sandwiching member 43. The stacked banknotes S are in a lowered state to a position before pulling out before the stacked banknotes S are pulled out from between the pair of upper and lower holding members 42 and 43 when the stacked banknotes S move in the reverse direction. Even if the stacked banknotes S are bent by sandwiching the pair of upper and lower clamping members 42 and 43, the stacked banknotes S and the binding tape T are moved in a state where they are in contact with the guide 54 with a strong force. Prevented the door, it can be easily pulled out from the pair of upper clamping member 42 and the lower holding member 43 stacked banknotes S after binding on you reliably prevent displacement of binding tape T.

Moreover, according to the banknote binding machine 11 of this embodiment described above, the heater 106 heats the binding tape T while forming the non-thermally bonded portion 110 that cannot be thermally bonded to the cut-side end portion of the binding tape T. Since the non-thermal bonding portion 110 is picked and pulled, the thermal bonding portion 111 of the binding tape T can be peeled off and the binding can be released. Therefore, it can be bundled so that it can be easily unwound.

In addition, since the cutter 103 cuts the binding tape T into a jagged shape in which a plurality of chevron shapes are arranged, the cutter 103 is easily caught by a fingertip and easily picked as compared with a case where the cutter 103 is cut linearly. Therefore, it can be bound so that it can be more easily solved.

Furthermore, since the heater 106 is moved back and forth linearly along the stacking direction of the stacked banknotes S, the heater 106 is moved closer to and away from the stacked banknotes S. Therefore, the moving mechanism of the heater 106 can be simplified. In addition, the layout space of the heater 106 including the moving mechanism can be reduced. Further, the non-thermal bonding portion 110 can be easily formed on the binding tape T by arranging the cutter 103 on the tape supply portion 86 side with respect to the heater 106 that moves linearly in this way.

As shown in JP-A-8-164917, a binding tape is wrapped around a stacked banknote sandwiched by a sandwiching member, and the heater is cut along the outer surface of the sandwiching member with respect to the cutting side portion. In the banknote binding machine that gradually heat-bonds the side part from the intermediate part side toward the cutting end, the slide stops and ends with a predetermined distance from the cutting end of the tape. However, the binding tape can be thermally bonded while forming a non-thermally bonded portion that cannot be thermally bonded to the cut end portion of the binding tape.

Further, in the banknote binding machine 11 of the present embodiment, when the binding tape T is cut and bonded, the heater 106 is first inserted immediately after the cutter 103 rises in the cutting and bonding unit 96 and cuts the binding tape T. Similarly, the binding tape T that has been lifted and cut in the cutting and bonding unit 96 is described as being thermally bonded. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and the cutter 103 and the heater 106 are integrated in the cutting and bonding unit 96. It can also be configured to be heated and bonded at the same time as the binding tape T is cut and the drive system can be configured more simply.
