Claims (37)
- 下記を具備する、移動装置の位置を決定する方法:
移動装置が少なくとも2つの基地局からの信号を受信する;
移動装置が前記受信した信号間の到着時間差を決定する;
移動装置が前記信号の到着時間および前記基地局間の既知の距離に従って、過度の遅延の下限を推定する、前記過度の遅延の下限を推定することは前記基地局から受信したすべての信号よりも少ない信号を用いて行われる;および
移動装置が前記過度の遅延の推定された下限および前記受信した信号間の到着時間差に従って前記移動装置の位置を推定する。 - 前記受信した信号はCDMAパイロット信号である、請求項1に定義された方法。
- 前記受信した信号はGSM信号である、請求項1に定義された方法。
- 下記を具備する、移動装置の位置を決定する方法:
移動装置が少なくとも2つの基地局からの信号を受信する;
移動装置が前記受信した信号間の到着時間差を決定する;
移動装置が前記信号の到着時間および前記基地局間の既知の距離に従って、過度の遅延の下限を推定する;
基地局が前記過度の遅延の推定された下限および前記受信した信号間の到着時間差に従って前記移動装置の位置を推定する;および
移動装置が前記過度の遅延の下限を用いて前記移動装置の推定された位置を調節する。 - 前記調節は、前記それぞれの信号に対する到着時刻測定値から前記過度の遅延の下限を減算することを具備する、請求項4に定義された方法。
- 前記調節は、前記過度の遅延の下限に従って、前記到着時刻測定値に重み付けすることを具備する、請求項4に定義された方法。
- 前記調節は、前記過度の遅延の下限に基づいて前記位置推定から到着時刻測定を消去することを具備する、請求項4に定義された方法。
- 移動装置が前記受信した信号の過度の遅延の下限を用いて前記移動装置の前記位置の推定の精度を決定する、請求項1に定義された方法。
- 前記信号に導入される前記過度の遅延はマルチパスによるものである、請求項1に定義された方法。
- 信号は複数の基地局から前記移動装置において受信され、前記過度の遅延の下限は複数の信号到着時間測定に対して推定される、請求項1に定義された方法。
- 前記基地局から受信した信号は、同時に前記基地局から送信される、請求項1に定義された方法。
- 前記基地局から受信した信号は、互いに時間に対して同期されている、請求項1に定義された方法。
- 前記受信した信号は通信信号である、請求項1に定義された方法。
- 前記受信した信号は、セルラー通信信号である、請求項1に定義された方法。
- 前記移動装置の位置を推定することは、別の位置標定システムを含む、請求項1に定義された方法。
- 前記別の位置標定システムは、全地球測位システムである、請求項1に定義された方法。
- 下記を具備する移動装置の位置を決定する方法:
移動装置が少なくとも2つの基地局から信号を受信し、それぞれの信号に対して前記移動装置における到着時刻を決定する;
移動装置が前記それぞれの基地局から受信した信号間の到着時間差を決定する;
移動装置がそれぞれの基地局からの信号の到着時刻および既知の基地局間の距離に従って、過度の遅延の下限を推定する;および
移動装置が前記到着時間差および過度の遅延の下限を異なる位置に送信し、前記推定された過度の遅延の下限および前記異なる位置において受信した信号間の到着時間差に従って、前記移動装置の位置を推定する。 - 前記異なる位置は基地局である、請求項17に定義された方法。
- 下記を具備する、移動装置の位置を決定する方法:
移動装置が少なくとも2つの基地局から信号を受信し、それぞれの信号に対する前記移動装置の到着時刻を決定する;
移動装置が前記信号の到着時刻を異なる位置に送信する;
移動装置が前記異なる位置において、前記それぞれの基地局からの受信した信号間の到着時間差を決定する;
移動装置がそれぞれの基地局からの各信号の到着時刻および前記異なる位置における基地局間の既知の距離に従って、過度の遅延の下限を推定する;および
移動装置が前記推定された過度の遅延の下限および前記異なる位置において受信した信号間の到着時間差に従って前記移動装置の位置を推定する。 - 前記異なる位置は基地局である、請求項19に定義された方法。
- 下記を具備する移動装置:
少なくとも2つの基地局からのそれぞれの信号を受信し、各基地局により送信された前記信号の到着時刻を決定するように構成された受信機;
前記信号の到着時刻を受信し、前記受信された信号間の到着時間差を決定し、さらに前記基地局間の既知の距離および前記それぞれの基地局からの前記信号の到着時刻に従って過度の遅延の下限を推定するように構成された過度の遅延エンジン;および
前記受信された信号間の到着時間差および前記過度の遅延の推定された下限に従って前記移動装置の位置を推定するためのコントローラ。 - 前記受信された信号はCDMAパイロット信号である、請求項21の移動装置。
- 前記受信された信号はGSM信号である、請求項21の移動装置。
- 前記受信された信号間の到着時間差および前記過度の遅延の推定された下限に従って前記移動装置の位置を推定することをさらに具備する、請求項21の移動装置。
- 前記過度の遅延の下限を用いて前記移動装置の推定された位置を調節することをさらに備えた、請求項24の移動装置。
- 前記調節は前記到着時刻測定値から前記過度の遅延の下限を減算することを具備する、請求項25の移動装置。
- 前記調節は前記過度の遅延の下限に従って前記到着時刻測定値に重み付けをすることを具備する、請求項25の移動装置。
- 前記調節は前記過度の遅延の下限に基づいて前記位置推定値から到着時刻測定値を消去することを具備する、請求項25の移動装置。
- 前記受信された信号に関する前記過度の遅延の下限は前記移動装置の推定された位置の精度を決定するために使用される、請求項24の移動装置。
- 前記移動装置により決定された前記位置推定値は基地局に送信される、請求項24の移動装置。
- 前記移動装置の位置を推定することは別の位置標定システムを含む、請求項24の移動装置。
- 前記別の位置標定システムは全地球測位システムである、請求項31の移動装置。
- 前記受信された信号の前記過度の遅延の下限は前記基地局の1つに送信される、請求項21の移動装置。
- 前記信号に導入される遅延はマルチパスによる、請求項21の移動装置。
- 前記移動装置は通信システム内において使用される、請求項21の移動装置。
- 前記移動装置はセルラー通信システム内において使用される、請求項21の移動装置。
- 前記過度の遅延の下限は前記基地局から受信された前記信号の全て未満により行われる、請求項21の移動装置。
