Description
前記円盤型操作ダイヤルを回動することにより、前記回転検出手段で回動方向を検出する一方、前記円盤型操作ダイヤルを押圧することにより、前記操作具の押圧突起で前記押しボタンスイッチを操作することを特徴とする構成としてある。
本実施形態によれば、金属製薄板部分と樹脂材部分とを一体成形することにより、前述の効果に加え、生産性の高い操作入力装置が得られる。
本実施形態にかかる操作入力装置は、図1に示すように、携帯電話機1内のプリント基板5に実装した操作入力装置2でモニター3のスクロールバー(図示せず)をスクロールし、後述する押しボタン30等を介して選択指示を出すことができる。なお、4は前記プリント基板5に実装された押しボタンスイッチ、6はテンキー、7はマイク、8はスピーカーである。
なお、金属リング51と台座部58との一体化の方法としては、一体成形でもよいし、接着や嵌め込みなどの方法でもよい。
なお、押圧用突起59a〜59dは台座部58と一体に成形した樹脂製であってもよいし、台座部58とは別の材質すなわち樹脂以外の材質であってもよい。押圧用突起59a〜59dは上述のように台座部58の方に設けてもよいし、金属リング51の方に設けてもよい。
まず、図示しない治具の一対の位置決めピンに前記金属ベース10の治具孔12a,12bをそれぞれ挿入して位置決めする。一方、押しボタンスイッチ21〜25およびホール素子29a,29bをプリント基板20の所定の位置に実装し、ついで、前記プリント基板20の表裏面を、位置決め孔26a,26bおよび治具孔27a,27bを除き、樹脂フィルムカバー20cで被覆する。そして、前記位置決めピンおよび位置決め突起11a,11bに前記プリント基板20の治具孔27a,27bおよび位置決め孔26a,26bをそれぞれ挿入して位置決めし、前記金属ベース10に前記プリント基板20を貼着一体化する。
携帯電話機1に組み込んだ操作ダイヤル70を回動することにより、これと一体に環状マグネット65が回動すると、一対のホール素子29a,29bが磁界の変化をそれぞれ検知し、これに基づいて回動方向および回動量を検出する。
そして、その検出結果が図示しない制御回路を介してモニター3の画面表示にスクロールバー(図示せず)の移動として反映される。ついで、所望の位置にスクロールバーが到達した場合に、押しボタン30を押すと、押圧用突起32が中央押しボタンスイッチ21を操作し、選択指令を出力する。
また、操作ダイヤル70の周辺部、例えば、図2Cに示すように、押圧用突起59bを押し下げることにより、前記押圧用突起59bの直下に位置する押しボタンスイッチ23の反転バネを反転させて導通させてもよい。

Claims (3)
- 外周縁部に弾性係合受け部を切り起こしたベースと、
上面に複数個の押しボタンスイッチおよび回転検出手段を実装し、前記ベースに積み重ねて一体化したプリント基板と、
金属製薄板部分の外周縁部に、弾性爪部を備え、かつ、方形孔を有する一対の延在部を対向するように延在するとともに、弾性爪部を備え、かつ、長孔を有する一対の膨出部を対向するように形成する一方、樹脂材部分と一体化した前記金属製薄板部分の弾性爪部を前記ベースの弾性係合受け部に係合することにより、前記樹脂材部分に突設した押圧突起で前記押しボタンスイッチを押し下げできるように前記プリント基板上で上下動可能に支持された操作具と、
前記操作具の上面に回動自在に組み付けられた円盤型操作ダイヤルと、からなり、
前記円盤型操作ダイヤルを回動することにより、前記回転検出手段で回動方向を検出する一方、前記円盤型操作ダイヤルを押圧することにより、前記操作具の押圧突起で前記押しボタンスイッチを操作することを特徴とする操作入力装置。 - 前記金属製薄板部分と樹脂材部分とを一体成形したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の操作入力装置。
- 請求項1または請求項2に記載の操作入力装置を、外部から操作できるように円盤型操作ダイヤルを露出させて取り付けたことを特徴とする電子機器。
