本発明は、形鋼圧延設備の冷却床から矯正ラインに鋼材を払い出す鋼材払出装置に関する。

【従来の技術及び発明が解決しようとする課題】
形鋼設備では、仕上げ圧延後の鋼材は、冷却床である一定の温度まで冷却された後、矯正機を通すことによって曲がりが矯正され、製品としての形状が確保される。しかし、曲がりの度合いは製品品種や圧延条件により種々に異なる。特に、等辺山形鋼や不等辺山形鋼では、その形状から大きく曲がることがあり、そのまま矯正ラインに払い出した場合、鋼材の先端が矯正機の適切な噛込み位置から大きくずれて、噛込み失敗を起こすことがあった。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、形鋼圧延設備の冷却床から曲がりを矯正する矯正ラインに鋼材を払い出す鋼材払出装置において、
鋼材の長手方向に配設され、冷却床から矯正ラインの搬送テーブル上に協同して払い出す複数の払出装置と、
冷却床における鋼材の曲がり状態を検出して曲がり情報を出力する曲がり検出手段と、
払出装置の位置を個々に検出する位置検出手段と、
曲がり検出手段の曲がり情報を入力し、鋼材を矯正ラインの矯正機への噛込ませを可能にする各払出装置の移動目標位置を決定する制御手段と、
制御手段で決定された移動目標位置と位置検出手段で検出された払出装置の位置とが一致するように払出装置を個別に速度制御する駆動装置と、
を備えたことを特徴としている。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明を図面に示す好適な実施形態に基づいて詳細に説明する。
図1は本発明に係る鋼材払出装置の一実施形態の構成を示すブロック図である。同図において、鋼材1はそれぞれ図示を省略した仕上圧延機で圧延されてホットソーで切断された後、冷却床2にて冷却される。冷却された鋼材1はその長手方向に配設された四つの払出装置4によって矯正ラインに搬送される。すなわち、払出装置4は冷却床2内で鋼材1を持上げ、次いで、矢印A方向に移動して鋼材1を冷却床2の外に払い出し、次いで、払出装置4自体が下降して図示省略のローラテーブル上に鋼材1を載置すると、このローラテーブルが鋼材1を矢印B方向に搬送する。四つの払出装置4はそれぞれ電動機5で駆動され、それぞれ矢印A方向に移動した位置が位置検出器7によって検出される。電動機5は個別に設けられた駆動装置6によって駆動制御される。この場合、位置検出器7の位置検出信号が駆動装置6にフィードバックされる。

一方、冷却床2における鋼材1の曲がりの状態はCCD(Charge Coupled Device )カメラと画像処理装置で構成される曲り検出手段3で検出される。制御装置8は曲り検出手段3の曲がり情報をもとに次工程である矯正機に対し、最適な払い出し姿勢を演算すると共に、この払い出し姿勢となる払出装置4の各移動目標位置を決定し、対応する駆動装置6に加える構成になっている。

上記のように構成された本実施形態の動作について以下に説明する。
鋼材1は仕上圧延後、ホットソーにて冷却床取り込み長さに切断され、冷却床2である一定の温度になるまで冷却されるが、鋼材品種、圧延条件などにより曲がりが生じる場合がある。鋼材1の曲がり具合は、冷却床2上からCCDカメラと画像処理装置で構成された曲り検出手段3で検出される。制御装置8は検出された曲がり情報に基づいて矯正機に対する最適な払い出し姿勢を演算する。すなわち、冷却床2から払い出した状態で矯正機に安定的に噛込ませ得る姿勢を演算する。続いて制御装置8はこの鋼材1を演算された姿勢にするための払出装置4の位置(図中、点線で示した位置)を演算し、これに対応する払出装置4の各移動目標位置を決定し駆動装置6に加える。駆動装置6は位置検出器7で検出された払出装置4の位置が制御装置8から加えられた移動目標位置と一致するように電動機5を速度制御し、それぞれ矢印A方向に移動させる。そして、この位置で、鋼材1を矢印B方向に移送する搬送テーブルに載置する。

この結果、鋼材が曲がっている場合でも矯正ラインの矯正機に安定的に噛込ませ得るような姿勢で、鋼材を矯正ラインに払い出すことができる。

以上の説明によつて明らかなように、本発明によれば、鋼材が曲がっている場合でも矯正ラインの矯正機に安定的に噛込ませ得るような姿勢で、鋼材を矯正ラインに払い出す鋼材払出装置が得られる。

前記払出装置の位置を個々に検出する位置検出手段と、
前記曲がり検出手段の曲がり情報を入力し、鋼材を前記矯正ラインの矯正機への噛込ませを可能にする前記各払出装置の移動目標位置を決定する制御手段と、
前記制御手段で決定された移動目標位置と前記位置検出手段で検出された前記払出装置の位置とが一致するように前記払出装置を個別に速度制御する駆動装置と、
