Claims (8)
- データセンタで使用される無線周波数識別(RFID)対応電子機器であって、
情報技術(IT)機器と、
少なくとも1つの無線周波数識別子(RFID)と、
該RFIDに結合され、前記情報技術機器の物理寸法を特徴付けるデータ構造フィールドを含む記憶装置と、を具備し、
前記情報技術機器の前記物理寸法が、前記データセンタの空気流状態又は温度状態と組み合わされて、前記情報技術機器の管理を行う管理ユーティリティによって、前記情報技術機器の前記データセンタ内での割り付けに使用されることを特徴とするRFID対応電子機器。 - RFID対応電子機器であって、
前記情報技術機器に配置された複数の無線周波数識別子(RFID)であって、それにより該情報技術機器の向きを三角測量によって確定することができる、複数のRFIDをさらに具備することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のRFID対応電子機器。 - RFID対応電子機器であって、
アクティブRFID及びパッシブRFIDから成るグループから選択される少なくとも1つの無線周波数識別子(RFID)をさらに具備することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のRFID対応電子機器。 - データセンタで使用される情報技術(IT)機器測位システムであって、
前記データセンタの複数の場所に分散される複数の無線トランスポンダと、
該複数の無線トランスポンダに結合されたコントローラであって、三角測量を使用して、前記データセンタに配置された無線タグ付き情報技術機器に対する3次元座標での位置を特定し検出するように、前記トランスポンダを動作させるように適合されたコントローラと、を具備し、
前記無線タグ付き情報技術機器に対する3次元座標での前記位置が、前記データセンタの空気流状態又は温度状態と組み合わされて、前記情報技術機器の管理を行う管理ユーティリティによって、前記データセンタ内での前記情報技術機器の割り付けに使用されることを特徴とする情報技術機器測位システム。 - 情報技術機器測位システムであって、
前記コントローラはさらに、前記情報技術機器の無線タグに関連して符号化された寸法情報に従って、前記データセンタに配置された前記無線タグ付き情報技術機器によって占有される体積空間を検出するように適合され、
前記コントローラはさらに、前記情報技術機器の別々の表面に取り付けられた少なくとも2つの無線タグの検出に基づき、前記データセンタに配置された無線タグ付き情報技術機器の向きを検出するようにさらに適合されることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の情報技術機器測位システム。 - 情報技術機器測位システムであって、
グラフィカルユーザインタフェースをさらに具備し、
前記コントローラは、前記グラフィカルユーザインタフェースを介して、現データセンタ構成と該データセンタ内の前記情報技術機器の位置とを記述するマッピングを表示するように構成され、
前記コントローラは、前記グラフィカルユーザインタフェースを介して、前記データセンタ内の前記情報技術機器のリアルタイムの在庫、位置マッピング及びサイズに関する記述を表示するように構成されることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の情報技術機器測位システム。 - 情報技術機器測位システムであって、
前記情報技術機器の3次元座標を確定するように三角測量を使用するために十分な少なくとも3つの無線トランスポンダであって、前記データセンタの場所に分散される、少なくとも3つの無線トランスポンダを具備することを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の情報技術機器測位システム。 - 情報技術機器測位システムであって、
少なくとも1つの無線トランスポンダを取り付け、前記データセンタを巡回し、前記情報技術機器の位置を確定するように適合された少なくとも1つのロボットをさらに具備することを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の情報技術機器測位システム。
