Description
条件(1):前記容器本体の前記内周面が、表面粗さRaが0.5μm以下の平滑面である。
条件(2):30℃以下の温度雰囲気下でプラズマ溶射する。

試料No.1,5,8,12の耐食皮膜形成用溶射粉末材料を用いて形成した耐食皮膜を有する各陽極容器を用いて作製した各NAS電池について、室温〜330℃までの加熱・冷却を繰り返すヒートサイクル試験を行った。この試験終了後、NAS電池を分解し、耐食皮膜についてのクラック発生の有無をX線透視検査することにより確認した。結果を表4に示す。
試料No.1〜12の耐食皮膜形成用溶射粉末材料を用いて形成した耐食皮膜を有する各陽極容器を用いて作製した各NAS電池について、350℃、及び360℃で運転する充放電サイクル試験を行った。なお、試験を行った電池はいずれも、容器本体(Al管)の内周面の表面粗度Raが6.0μmとなるまでブラスト加工するとともに、220℃に予熱し、前述した剥離試験と同様な溶射条件で、厚み90μmの耐食皮膜を形成した。図3に、充放電サイクル(回)に対して内部抵抗(mΩ)をプロットしたグラフを示す。また、図4に、充放電サイクル(回)に対して電池容量(%)をプロットしたグラフを示す。
Claims (3)
- 金属材料からなる筒状の容器本体の内周面に溶射粉末材料を大気中においてプラズマ溶射して耐食皮膜を形成することを含む、ナトリウム−硫黄電池用陽極容器の製造方法であって、
前記溶射粉末材料として、クロム(Cr)の含有量が55〜70質量%、及び炭素(C)の含有量が3〜20質量%である、クロム(Cr)−鉄(Fe)をベースとする合金からなる溶融粉砕粉末である耐食皮膜形成用溶射粉末材料を使用し、
下記条件(1)又は(2)の少なくともいずれかの条件を満たした状態で、前記容器本体の前記内周面に前記耐食皮膜を形成するナトリウム−硫黄電池用陽極容器の製造方法。
条件(1):前記容器本体の前記内周面が、表面粗さRaが0.5μm以下の平滑面である。
条件(2):30℃以下の温度雰囲気下でプラズマ溶射する。 - 前記プラズマ溶射を、アルゴン(Ar)ガスを一次ガス、水素(H2)ガスを二次ガスとしてそれぞれ使用し、大気中で行う請求項1に記載のナトリウム−硫黄電池用陽極容器の製造方法。
- 前記金属材料が、アルミニウム(Al)又はアルミニウム(Al)合金である請求項1又は2に記載のナトリウム−硫黄電池用陽極容器の製造方法。
