Description
そして前記ループには、任意の形状でオスポンチを通す軸方向の穴を備えた円形の電子ボタンタグが連結されており、上記タグには、規定の消えないマーキングを備えている。
この電子ボタンタグは、コイルおよびマイクロプロセッサーを有するトランスポンダーを有している。上記マイクロプロセッサーはプログラムされていても、またはプログラムされていないくてもよい。
そして、上記トランスポンダーは、接着または超音波溶接などにより固定される2つのハーフシェルの間にオーバーモールドされるか閉じ込められる。
しかし、従来のボタンタグはこの要件を満たしていない。
即ち、トランスポンダーが、溶解した合成材料内で加圧コーティングによりオーバーモールドされる際、特に冷却時に機械的応力が発生し、コイルの形状やその使用周波数が変化したり、トランスポンダーの性能が全体的に低下したりすることがある。
これは、トランスポンダーを内蔵するシェルが接着により組み付けられる場合に、これらのシェルは剛性を有する単数または複数の合成材料で作製される。接着剤は紫外線に曝されたり、経時的に老化して接着状態を劣化させるため、水分の浸入およびトランスポンダーの腐食が発生する虞れがある。
また、一対のハーフシェルの組付け部の機械的強度が変化することがあり、物理的作用、たとえば植物との摩擦によりハーフシェル相互の分離をきたす虞れもある。
超音波溶接では、溶接するハーフシェルに相当の厚みが必要であるため満足が得られず、そのため、例えば羊や豚に適した小型のシェルに適用することができない。
シェルが、軸方向通路(4)の穴に対し横方向の正中面により下側ハーフシェル(1)と上側ハーフシェル(2)とが組み付けられる2つのハーフシェルからなっていることを主な特徴とする。
この発明で接着材という語は、トランスポンダーの材料に対し作用せずおよび/または中性であることが必要なジェルまたはその他の固定用物質など、トランスポンダーの固定を確保することが可能なあらゆる物質を指す。
2つのハーフシェルはレーザー溶接により組み付けられる。
本発明による電子ボタンタグは、2つのハーフシェルが、それらの組み付け、シェルの補剛ならびに内部トランスポンダーの固定に寄与する相補的外壁および内壁を備えることを特徴とする。
好ましくは、内側筒形壁と周囲フランジの間の平面壁の内面上に内側ボスが設けられる。
さらに別の構成によれば、電子ボタンタグは、内側ボスの高さが、マイクロプロセッサーの固定のための電子ボタンタグ内部の自由高よりも低いことを特徴とする。
本発明のその他の長所および特徴は、添付の図面により非限定的例として示す実施形態についての以下の説明を読むことにより明らかになろう。
本発明による電子ボタンタグは、コイル3’およびプログラム可能なマイクロプロセッサー3”とからなる公知のトランスポンダーを、合成樹脂材からなるシェル内に内蔵した構成からなっている。
このように組み付けられたシェルは、その中心の軸線に沿って通路4を備えており、該軸方向通路4は、動物の耳へオスポンチのロッドを通すためのものである。
下側ハーフシェル1と上側ハーフシェル2とは、軸方向通路4に対し横方向の正中面により組み付けられる。
コイル3’、プロセッサー3”からなるトランスポンダー3は、上記したように、レーザーにより溶接が行われる下側ハーフシェル1と上側ハーフシェル2との間に固定される。
下側円筒形壁7は、円形の平面壁6を介して円筒形壁5の下方で延長線上に延びている。
前記下側円筒形壁7と垂直壁9とは、それぞれの端部が同じ面上に設定されている。
下側ハーフシェル1は、上側ハーフシェル2の下側円筒形壁7の中途位置に設けられたショルダー8に対応して整合する段部状のショルダーを先端に備えた内側円筒形壁12を、下側ハーフシェル1の中心軸の周囲に設けている。
周囲フランジ13は、組み立て時に、上側ハーフシェル2を画定する垂直壁9の外側ショルダー11内に隙間無く嵌着される。
バリが外側で形成されると動物の耳を刺激する問題があったため、周囲フランジ13は、溶接時の材料のビード10のバリが外側ではなく内側に形成されるようにオーバーフロー防止機能を有する。
使用する接着剤16としては、化学的には不活性のものである。

電子ボタンタグは、冒頭で示した図示省略のオスタグとメスヘッドを使用する場合に、メスヘッドの機能を果たす。
そして、筒状の軸方向通路4はその端部において、オスタグのポンチのテーパー形先端部への接近を禁止するために、上側ハーフシェルの通路4の上が塞がれる。
レーザー溶接の利点は、その作用を溶解コアー10に完璧に向けることができ、その結果、ハーフシェル1、2およびトランスポンダー3’、3”の破損を防止することができる。
この実施例では、図2および図3に示す内側ボス15は設けなくてもよい。
その他の構成は前記実施例に準じるものである。

Claims (12)
- 動物の耳への固定手段を通すための、貫通したまたは貫通しない軸方向通路(4)を有するシェル内にランスポンダーを内蔵した動物用のマーキングおよび識別用の電子ボタンタグであって、
シェルが、軸方向通路(4)の穴に対し横方向の正中面により下側ハーフシェル(1)と上側ハーフシェル(2)とが組み付けられる2つのハーフシェルからなっており、
トランスポンダー(3)が、接着剤(16)により前記2つのハーフシェルの間に非圧縮固定されており、
前記2つのハーフシェルがレーザー溶接により組み付けられること
を特徴とする電子ボタンタグ。 - 2つのハーフシェル(1、2)が、それらを組み付けると共に、相互に補強しならびに内部にトランスポンダーを保持するための相互に関連づけられた外壁および内壁を備えてなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電子ボタンタグ。
- 上側ハーフシェル(2)が、平面壁(6)の中央で外方へ向かって突出する筒形壁(5)を有し、該筒形壁(5)は下側ハーフシェル(1)の対応する内側筒形壁(12)に接続するため前記平面壁(6)から下方に延びる下側筒形壁(7)により延長される中心穴からなる軸方向通路を有しており、
上側ハーフシェル(2)がその外周に沿って形成された垂直壁(9)によって下側ハーフシェル(1)に接続されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電子ボタンタグ。 - 下側ハーフシェル(1)が、上側ハーフシェル(2)の筒形壁(5)に対応し、動物の耳にボタンタグを固定する手段の軸方向通路(4)を形成する内側筒形壁(12)を中心軸の周囲に設けており、
該内側筒形壁(12)の外側に内側ボス(15)を備え、
上側ハーフシェル(2)の垂直壁(9)と連結される周囲フランジ(13)を備えていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の電子ボタンタグ。 - 内側筒形壁(12)と周囲フランジ(13)の間に内側ボス(15)が配設されてなることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の電子ボタンタグ。
- 内側ボス(15)の高さが電子ボタンタグの内部の自由高よりも低いことを特徴とする請求項4または請求項5に記載の電子ボタンタグ。
- 下側ハーフシェル(1)の内側筒形壁(12)が、オスタグのニードルの先端を拘束する上側ショルダー(17)を有するテーパー形状からなることを特徴とする請求項3から6のいずれかに記載の電子ボタンタグ。
- 軸方向通路を形成する筒形壁が上側ハーフシェル上で塞がれることを特徴とする請求項1から7のいずれかに記載の電子ボタンタグ。
- 上側ハーフシェル(2)の下側筒形壁(7)と垂直筒形壁(9)の端部が溶解コアー(10)を有することを特徴とする請求項3から8のいずれかに記載の電子ボタンタグ。
- トランスポンダー(3)が、コイル(3’)上に折り曲げられたプロセッサー(3”)を有し、全体が接着剤(16)で固定されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電子ボタンタグ。
- 溶解コアー(10)が溶接を行うためのレーザーの作用を受けることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の電子ボタンタグ。
- 下側ハーフシェル(1)が、組み立て時に、上側ハーフシェル(2)の垂直壁(9)の外側ショルダー(11)内に収納される周囲フランジ(13)を備えることを特徴とする請求項3から11のいずれかに記載の電子ボタンタグ。
