Description
Claims (7)
- 火花点火式直接噴射内燃機関の、バルブを有する燃料噴射ノズルを備えた燃焼室における点火可能な混合気を形成する方法であって、
前記燃料噴射ノズルの前記バルブは、閉鎖位置から作動位置へ制御装置を用いて移動し、
その移動の動作ストローク及び前記燃料噴射の期間を可変に調節することが可能である方法において、
前記燃料噴射ノズルの前記バルブは、移動開始時は低速で移動し、その後、停止又は減速することなく連続的に速度を増し、前記作動位置に到達する時には速度が最大値になるように、前記制御装置を用いて前記閉鎖位置から前記作動位置へ移動されることを特徴とする内燃機関の制御方法。 - 前記燃料噴射ノズルは、外側に開口する噴射ノズルとして設計され、前記燃料は中空の円錐の形で前記燃料噴射ノズルから噴射されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の制御方法。
- 噴射された中空の燃料円錐の末端に環状混合気渦が形成され、噴射された中空の円錐の周面外側に位置する点火プラグ電極が、点火可能な環状混合気渦によって取り囲まれるようにすることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記燃料噴射ノズルの前記制御装置は、ピエゾ圧電素子を用いて制御することを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の制御方法。
- 前記燃料は、前記内燃機関の均一燃焼運転において、吸入サイクル及び/又は圧縮サイクルにおいて噴射されることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の制御方法。
- 前記燃料は、前記内燃機関の成層燃焼運転における圧縮サイクルの間に噴射されることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の制御方法。
- 前記燃料は、総量あるいは少なくとも2つに分割された量で噴射されることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の制御方法。
