Description
(1) 白鋳鉄となる成分の溶鉄を、水冷銅鋳型を用いて連続鋳造し、鋳型から排出された鋳片を水ミストまたは冷却水によって冷却して白鋳鉄組織を有する鋳片を得る、鋳片の連続製造方法であって、前記溶鉄の過熱度を40℃以下で鋳造し、連続鋳造される鋳片の冷却終了時の温度を、オーステナイトからフェライトへの変態点以上の温度とすることを特徴とする、連続製造方法、
(2) 前記白鋳鉄組織における炭素原子の濃度[C](質量%)、およびケイ素原子の濃度[Si](質量%)が、下記式を満たすことを特徴とする、(1)に記載の連続製造方法、
(4) 30℃/min以下の冷却速度で鋳片を冷却することを特徴とする、(1)〜(3)のいずれか1項に記載の連続製造方法、
(5) 前記溶鉄に球状化剤元素を添加することを特徴とする、(1)〜(4)のいずれか1項に記載の連続製造方法、
である。
高炉から出銑した溶銑を、転炉型の精錬容器に移した後、鋼スクラップを添加し、表1に示す成分となるように調整し、鍋に移し、必要に応じて球状化剤を添加した。この溶鉄を、タンディッシュを介して、水冷銅鋳型を備えた、円弧半径10.5mの湾曲型の連続鋳造機に注入し、幅800mm、厚100mmのスラブを、鋳造速度1.2m/分で連続鋳造した。得られた白鋳鉄組織を有する鋳片を気水スプレーで冷却した。冷却終了後は、自然放冷した。成分、溶鉄の過熱度、冷却速度、矯正点での温度を、表1に示すように変化させて、冷却後の鋳片における割れの有無を確認した。なお、実施例1〜8における冷却終了時の温度は、各成分におけるオーステナイトからフェライトへの変態点以上の温度である。また、比較例1〜2における冷却終了時の温度は、各成分におけるオーステナイトからフェライトへの変態点未満の温度である。
Claims (5)
- 白鋳鉄となる成分の溶鉄を、水冷銅鋳型を用いて連続鋳造し、鋳型から排出された鋳片を水ミストまたは冷却水によって冷却して白鋳鉄組織を有する鋳片を得る、鋳片の連続製造方法であって、
前記溶鉄の過熱度を40℃以下で鋳造し、連続鋳造される鋳片の冷却終了時の温度を、オーステナイトからフェライトへの変態点以上の温度とすることを特徴とする、連続製造方法。 - 湾曲型連続鋳造機を用いて鋳造され、矯正点での鋳片温度をオーステナイトからフェライトへの変態点以上の温度とすることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の連続製造方法。
- 30℃/min以下の冷却速度で鋳片を冷却することを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の連続製造方法。
- 前記溶鉄に球状化剤元素を添加することを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の連続製造方法。
