Description
図1〜図7は、本発明に係わる高周波式の直接通電加熱装置の一実施形態を示し、図1がその概略構成を示す回路図、図2がその電極装置の平面図、図3がその正面図、図4が使用方法の説明図、図5が図4のA部の拡大図、図6及び図7が電極装置の分解斜視図である。
Claims (3)
- ワークの長手方向に沿って所定間隔で対向配置された一対の通電電極と、該通電電極の対向方向に沿って配置されて該通電電極を支持すると共に通電電極にそれぞれ電気的に接続された一対の導体とを備え、
前記一対の導体は、前記ワークの長手方向に沿った端部に前記一対の通電電極が上下方向に突出状態で設けられて該通電電極の一方が他方に対して前記対向方向に移動可能に連結配置されると共に、上下方向に絶縁板を介して圧接挟持され、かつ前記通電電極の対向方向の略中間位置から該対向方向と略直交する水平方向に延設された端子部を有し、該端子部に所定周波数の電源が接続されることを特徴とする直接通電加熱装置。 - 前記電源は、前記一対の通電電極に電気的に接続される出力トランスを有し、該出力トランスの二次側に通電電極と並列状態で、そのインダクタンスが通電電極に前記ワークが接触した際の通電電極間のインダクタンスに対して小さく設定された安全コイルが接続されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の直接通電加熱装置。
- 前記通電電極間に、加熱後に前記ワークとしてのラックバーの歯面を冷却するための、前記通電電極間の間隔寸法に対応した長さの冷却ジャケットが着脱可能に配置され、該冷却ジャケットの噴射孔が歯面の山部に沿って複数設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の直接通電加熱装置。
