When the beltline molding is attached to the door outer panel, the seal lip first bent portion of the vehicle outer side seal lip is located between the outer panel and the tip of the vehicle outer side wall, and the seal lip second bent portion is on the decorative member side. It abuts on the end portion.
[0010]
In the first aspect of the present invention, the belt line molding is made of a hard material and has a substantially inverted U-shaped cross section including the vehicle outer side wall, the upper wall, and the vehicle inner side wall. The belt line molding can be held on the flange portion by sandwiching both side portions with a hard material having high rigidity. For this reason, when the core metal is not embedded in the belt line molding, the weight can be reduced.
A decorative member is attached to the surface of the vehicle outer side wall, and the side edge of the decorative member covers the vehicle outer side wall to the vicinity of the tip of the vehicle outer side wall, so that a decorative pattern is formed on the belt line that stands out when the belt line molding is attached to the door. Since it can be provided, it is preferable in terms of design, and since the decorative member is provided to the vicinity of the front end of the vehicle outer side wall in the width direction, when viewed from the vehicle outer side, the decorative molding is formed over the entire width of the belt line molding visible from the vehicle outer side. Since it can provide, the appearance of the upper edge part of a door outer panel is good.
[0011]
Since the vehicle outer side seal lip that extends downward at the front end of the vehicle outer side wall and seals between the door outer panel is provided, it is possible to prevent rainwater or the like from entering between the belt line molding and the door outer panel.
The vehicle outer side seal lip is made of a soft material, and in order from the front end of the opening of the vehicle outer side wall, a seal lip holding portion, a seal lip first bent portion, a seal lip connecting portion, a seal lip second bent portion, Because it is composed of the tip of the seal lip, it is a soft material and highly elastic, and it bends at multiple bends, so the flexibility of the outside seal lip is improved and the overall length of the lip, that is, the bending of the lip in the vertical direction Since the amount increases, even if the gap between the vehicle outer side wall and the door outer panel varies, the front end portion of the vehicle outer seal lip can always be in contact with the door outer panel, so that the sealing performance is improved.
Furthermore, if the angle between the seal lip first bent portion and the seal lip second bent portion is an acute angle, the cross-sectional shape of the vehicle
[0012]
When the beltline molding is attached to the door outer panel, the second bent portion of the seal lip of the vehicle outer side seal lip is brought into contact with the end of the decorative member, so that the second bent portion of the seal lip of the vehicle outer side seal lip and the decorative member Since there is a space when manufacturing the beltline molding, there is no need to consider the adhesion between the decorative member and the vehicle outer seal lip, and the vehicle outer seal lip can be easily molded. Even if dust or the like accumulates between the seal lip second bent portion and the decorative member side end portion, the seal lip second bent portion and the decorative member side end portion are not bonded to each other, so that dust or the like can be easily removed. Can be cleaned easily.
Further, even after the vehicle is mounted, even if the vehicle outer seal lip vibrates due to vehicle vibration or the like, the vibration can be absorbed by deformation of the seal lip first bent portion and the seal lip second bent portion. Since stress is hardly applied to the joint portion between the outer side wall and the vehicle outer side seal lip, no crack occurs in this portion.
[0013]
According to the second aspect of the present invention, the bent portion of the vehicle outer side seal lip has a substantially Z-shaped cross section, and has two bent portions of a first bent portion and a second bent portion in order from the vehicle outer side wall side, The two bent portions are in contact with the decorative member side end.
[0014]
In the present invention of claim 2, the bent portion of the vehicle outer side seal lip has a substantially Z-shaped cross section, and has two bent portions of a first bent portion and a second bent portion in order from the vehicle outer side wall side. Therefore, the two bent parts are easy to bend, the stroke amount that can be bent in the vertical direction as a whole of the outside seal lip becomes long, and even if the gap between the outside seal lip and the door outer panel varies, the seal is sufficiently sealed can do.
When the beltline molding is attached to the door outer panel, the second bent portion has an acute angle, so the front end portion of the vehicle outer seal lip faces toward the back of the door outer panel and is difficult to see from the vehicle outer side. The outside seal lip becomes inconspicuous, which is preferable in terms of design. Further, since the second bent portion abuts the decorative member side end portion, the end of the decorative member can be covered, and the second bent portion can push the seal lip tip portion against the door outer panel, so that the sealing performance is improved. improves.
[0015]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, the bent portion of the vehicle outer side seal lip has a substantially stepped cross section, and has two bent portions of a first bent portion and a second bent portion in order from the vehicle outer side wall side. The bent portion is in contact with the end portion on the decorative member side.
[0016]
In the present invention of
In addition, since the tip of the seal lip can face the outside of the vehicle, no recess is formed between the tip of the seal lip and the door outer panel, and dust or the like does not accumulate.
[0017]
According to the fourth aspect of the present invention, a glass seal lip that slides with the door glass and seals between the door glass and the door outer panel is integrally provided on the upper wall or the vehicle inner side wall. .
[0018]
In the present invention of claim 4, since the glass seal lip that slides with the door glass and seals between the door glass and the door outer panel is integrally provided on the upper wall or the vehicle inner side wall, the belt line molding is provided. Since it is firmly held by the flange, the door glass can be raised and lowered so that the glass seal lip is always in proper contact with the door glass, and the glass is closed between the door glass and the door outer panel. It is possible to seal both when lifting and lowering.
[0019]
The present invention of claim 5 is provided with a vehicle outer side holding lip on the inner surface of the vehicle outer side wall, a vehicle inner side holding lip on the inner surface of the vehicle inner side wall, and holding the flange by the vehicle inner side holding lip and the vehicle outer side holding lip. A bending locking portion provided at the tip of the vehicle inner side wall is locked to the tip locking portion of the door outer panel.
[0020]
In the present invention of claim 5, since the vehicle outer side holding lip is provided on the inner surface of the vehicle outer side wall, the vehicle inner side holding lip is provided on the inner surface of the vehicle inner side wall, and the flange portion is held by the vehicle inner side holding lip and the vehicle outer side holding lip. Even if the thickness of the flange portion varies, even if the door glass is lifted or sucked out of the vehicle, the belt line molding can be held without rolling on the flange portion.
Since the bend locking part provided at the front end of the vehicle inner side wall is locked to the front end locking part of the door outer panel, it is only necessary to insert the flange part when installing the belt line molding. In this case, even if the belt line molding is pulled up by the sliding resistance of the door glass, the bent locking portion is locked by the leading end locking portion of the door outer panel, and it is difficult to come off.
