Claims (30)
- 複数本の導線を備えそれら複数本の導線を2本ずつ撚り合わせて複数対のツイスト・ペア信号線としたケーブルの末端に装着して用いるモジュラ・プラグにおいて、
導線仕分け部材と、接点端子担持部材と、複数の接点端子とを備え、
前記導線仕分け部材は、前記複数本の導線から成る複数対の信号線ペアを1対ずつの信号線ペアに分離して複数の所定平面上に配列するための複数の仕分け通路と、ケーブル引き込み案内突起とを備えており、
前記接点端子担持部材は、前記複数本の導線を1本ずつの導線に分離して複数の所定平面上に配列するための複数の貫通孔と、各々が1つずつの前記貫通孔に対して位置を揃えた複数の第1スロットとを備えており、
前記複数の接点端子は、その各々が、前記複数本の導線のうちの対応する1本の導線が配列されている前記貫通孔の前記所定平面に対応した高さ寸法に形成されており、前記複数の接点端子は、その各々が前記複数の第1スロットの1つずつに挿入されており、前記複数の接点端子は、その各々が前記複数本の導線のうちの対応する1本の導線に電気的に接続されている、
ことを特徴とするモジュラ・プラグ。 - 前記ケーブル引き込み案内突起が二連型棒状突起から成る請求項1記載のモジュラ・プラグ。
- 前記複数の仕分け通路のうちの少なくとも1つが傾斜側壁面を備えている請求項1記載のモジュラ・プラグ。
- 前記傾斜側壁面は、当該仕分け通路に挿入された1対の信号線ペアの2本の導線の位置を変化させるものである請求項3記載のモジュラ・プラグ。
- 前記導線仕分け部材は、前記複数本の導線から成る複数対の信号線ペアを1対ずつの導線に分離して3つの所定平面上に配列するものである請求項1記載のモジュラ・プラグ。
- 前記接点端子担持部材は、前記複数本の導線を1本ずつに分離して3つの所定平面上に配列するものである請求項1記載のモジュラ・プラグ。
- 前記複数の接点端子は、第1高さ寸法を有する第1組の複数の接点端子と、第2高さ寸法を有する第2組の複数の接点端子と、第3高さ寸法を有する第3組の複数の接点端子とを含んでいる請求項1記載のモジュラ・プラグ。
- 複数本の導線を備えそれら複数本の導線を2本ずつ撚り合わせて複数対のツイスト・ペア信号線としたケーブルの末端に装着して用いるモジュラ・プラグにおいて、
導線仕分け部材と、接点端子担持部材と、複数の接点端子とを備え、
前記導線仕分け部材は、ケーブルの中に挿入するケーブル引き込み案内突起と、前記複数本の導線から成る複数対の信号線ペアを1対ずつの信号線ペアに分離して配列するための複数の仕分け通路とを備えており、
前記接点端子担持部材は、前記複数本の導線を1本ずつの導線に分離して複数の所定平面上に配列するための複数の貫通孔と、各々が1つずつの前記貫通孔に対して位置を揃えた複数の第1スロットとを備えており、
前記複数の接点端子は、第1高さ寸法を有する第1組の複数の接点端子と、第2高さ寸法を有する第2組の複数の接点端子と、第3高さ寸法を有する第3組の複数の接点端子とを含んでおり、前記複数の接点端子は、その各々が前記複数の第1スロットの1つずつに挿入されており、前記複数の接点端子は、その各々が前記複数本の導線のうちの対応する1本の導線に電気的に接続されている、
ことを特徴とするモジュラ・プラグ。 - 前記ケーブル引き込み案内突起が二連型棒状突起から成る請求項8記載のモジュラ・プラグ。
- 前記複数の仕分け通路のうちの少なくとも1つが傾斜側壁面を備えている請求項8記載のモジュラ・プラグ。
- 前記傾斜側壁面は、当該仕分け通路に挿入された1対の信号線ペアの2本の導線の位置を変化させるものである請求項10記載のモジュラ・プラグ。
- 前記導線仕分け部材は、前記複数本の導線から成る複数対の信号線ペアを1対ずつの導線に分離して複数の所定平面上に配列するものである請求項8記載のモジュラ・プラグ。
- 前記導線仕分け部材は、前記複数本の導線から成る複数対の信号線ペアを1対ずつの導線に分離して互いに高さの異なる3つの所定平面上に配列するものである請求項12記載のモジュラ・プラグ。
- 前記接点端子担持部材は、前記複数本の導線を1本ずつに分離して互いに高さの異なる3つの所定平面上に配列するものである請求項8記載のモジュラ・プラグ。
- 前記モジュラ・プラグが更にハウジングを備えており、該ハウジングは、前記導線仕分け部材及び前記接点端子担持部材を収容する内部キャビティと、前記接点端子担持部材の前記複数の第1スロットに対して位置を揃えた複数の第2スロットとを備えている請求項8記載のモジュラ・プラグ
- 前記ハウジングがシールドを備えている請求項15記載のモジュラ・プラグ。
- 前記モジュラ・プラグが更に応力遮断手段を備えており、該応力遮断手段は嵌合部材から成り、該嵌合部材は、ケーブルに係合して前記キャビティに嵌合する第1端と、ブーツを保持する第2端とを有する請求項15記載のモジュラ・プラグ。
- 前記嵌合部材の前記第1端が複数の壁部を備えている請求項17記載のモジュラ・プラグ。
- 前記複数の壁部が、前記導線仕分け部材及び前記接点端子担持部材を、前記ハウジング内の取付位置に固定するようにした請求項18記載のモジュラ・プラグ。
- 前記複数の壁部の各々がケーブル係止突起を備えている請求項18記載のモジュラ・プラグ
- 前記複数の接点端子のうちの少なくとも1つが孔を備えている請求項8記載のモジュラ・プラグ。
- 複数本の導線を備えそれら複数本の導線を2本ずつ撚り合わせて複数対のツイスト・ペア信号線としたケーブルの末端に装着して用いるモジュラ・プラグにおいて、
導線仕分け部材と、接点端子担持部材と、ハウジングと、複数の接点端子と、応力遮断手段とを備え、
前記導線仕分け部材は、ケーブルの中に挿入するケーブル引き込み案内突起と、前記複数本の導線から成る複数対の信号線ペアを1対ずつの信号線ペアに分離して少なくとも3つの所定平面上に配列するための複数の仕分け通路とを備えており、
前記接点端子担持部材は、前記複数本の導線を1本ずつの導線に分離して少なくとも3つの所定平面上に配列するための複数の貫通孔と、各々が1つずつの前記貫通孔に対して位置を揃えた複数の第1スロットとを備えており、
前記ハウジングは、前記導線仕分け部材及び前記接点端子担持部材を収容する内部キャビティと、前記接点端子担持部材の前記複数の第1スロットに対して位置を揃えた複数の第2スロットとを備えており、
前記複数の接点端子は、第1高さ寸法を有する第1組の複数の接点端子と、第2高さ寸法を有する第2組の複数の接点端子と、第3高さ寸法を有する第3組の複数の接点端子とを含んでおり、前記複数の接点端子は、その各々が前記複数の第1スロットの1つずつに挿入されていると共に前記複数の第2スロットの1つずつに挿通されており、前記複数の接点端子は、その各々が前記複数本の導線のうちの対応する1本の導線に電気的に接続されており、
前記応力遮断手段は嵌合部材から成り、該嵌合部材は、ケーブルに係合して前記キャビティに嵌合する第1端と、ブーツを保持する第2端とを有する、
ことを特徴とするモジュラ・プラグ。 - 前記ハウジングがシールドを備えている請求項22記載のモジュラ・プラグ。
- 前記ケーブル引き込み案内突起が二連型棒状突起から成る請求項22記載のモジュラ・プラグ。
- 前記複数の仕分け通路のうちの少なくとも1つが傾斜側壁面を備えている請求項22記載のモジュラ・プラグ。
- 前記傾斜側壁面は、当該仕分け通路に挿入された1対の信号線ペアの2本の導線の位置を変化させるものである請求項22記載のモジュラ・プラグ。
- 前記嵌合部材の前記第1端が複数の壁部を備えている請求項22記載のモジュラ・プラグ。
- 前記複数の壁部が、前記導線仕分け部材及び前記接点端子担持部材を、前記ハウジング内の取付位置に固定するようにした請求項27記載のモジュラ・プラグ。
- 前記複数の壁部の各々がケーブル係止突起を備えている請求項27記載のモジュラ・プラグ
- 前記複数の接点端子のうちの少なくとも1つが孔を備えている請求項22記載のモジュラ・プラグ。
