従来のLED表示装置は、図5にて示すように、電気機器の前面パネルの背面近傍に配設された電装品箱5内に、前記電気機器を制御する制御基板6を前記前面パネルの幅方向のスペースを取らないように前記前面パネルに対して略直角に収納し、前記制御基板6とワイヤハーネス20にて結線され前記制御基板6の制御状態を表示する複数のLED7と同LED7の光が隣のLED7に洩れるのを防止する遮光カバー8とを搭載したサブ制御基板21を前記前面パネルに対して略平行に収納してなる構成であった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上記構成では、制御基板を、制御回路を搭載した本来の制御基板と制御状態の表示だけのためのサブ制御基板とに分割し、同サブ制御基板と前記制御基板を結線するワイヤハーネスが必要になり、コストが掛かるという問題点があった。
本発明においては、上記の問題点に鑑み、部品点数が少なくコストの安価なLED表示装置を提供することを目的とする。

本発明は、上記課題を解決するため、電気機器の前面パネルの背面近傍に複数のLEDを備えた制御基板を配設し、該複数のLEDが前記前面パネルの表示窓より個別に視認可能なように遮光カバーを装着してなるLED表示装置において、
前記制御基板を前記前面パネルに対して略直角に配設し、同制御基板の前縁近傍に前記複数のLEDを横一列に並べて直付けし、同複数のLEDの後方の制御基板に一つ以上の係止孔を形成する一方、
前記遮光カバーを、前記複数のLEDの背面を覆い一端に前記係止孔に係止する係止爪、他端に薄肉部を備えた背面カバーと、該薄肉部を介して該背面カバーと上部後方を連結し前記複数のLEDの上方と側面および各LED間を一体的な壁面で覆った中央カバー部と、同中央カバー部より前方へ突出し前端が開口した遮光筒部と、同遮光筒部の下面よりL字状に突出し前記制御基板の前縁を保持するL字状保持部とによる構成となっている。

【発明の実施の形態】
図1乃至図4にて示す本発明の実施例により、本発明の実施の形態について説明する。
図1の全体構成図に示すように、1は例えば空気調和機の室内機などの電気機器、2は同電気機器1の前面を覆う前面パネル、3は同前面パネル2に設けた複数の表示窓4を備えた表示部、5は前記電気機器1を制御する制御基板6を前記前面パネル2の幅方向のスペースを取らないように前記前面パネル2に対し略直角に収納した電装品箱である。
図2の分解斜視図に示すように、7は前記制御基板6の制御状態を表示する複数のLEDで、同LED7は前記制御基板6に他の電子部品とともに直付けされている。
