Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a structure of a security thumb turn used for a door locking / unlocking operation.
[0002]
[Prior art]
For example, a locking device provided on a door can be used to insert a dead key that has been advanced and retracted from the door end of the door by inserting a key into the keyhole of a cylinder lock that is exposed to the outside and turning it. Engage and disengage from the strike provided on the door to lock and unlock the door, and from the indoor side, simply rotate the thumb-turn knob to move the deadbolt forward and backward to easily lock and unlock the door. I am doing so.
[0003]
However, in recent years, unauthorized unlocking has been increasing in which a wire or the like is inserted from a post opening or a small hole opened by a machine tool, and is locked and rotated by a thumb turn that is easy to rotate to unlock the locking device. For example, there is a security cover for thumb turn disclosed in Patent Document 1 described below to prevent the thumb turn from being locked and rotated.
[0004]
As shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, the security cover 1 is formed with a fitting hole 3 into which the thumb turn 2 is fitted, and a portion covering the outer surface 2a of the thumb turn 2 that draws a circular locus 2b during rotation is circular. It is formed in a circular shape along the shape locus. Then, set screws 4 and 4 are provided which are screwed into the fitting holes 3 to come into contact with the side surfaces of the thumb turn 2 and are clamped from both sides.
The security cover 1 having such a configuration is configured such that the thumb turn 2 is covered with the thumb turn 2 by inserting the thumb turn 2 into the insertion hole 3. Thereafter, the security cover 1 is fixed to the thumb turn 2 by screwing the set screws 4 and 4 into place. Therefore, it becomes difficult to lock the wire or the like by the crime prevention cover 1 placed on the thumb turn 2 and rotate it.
[0005]
As another aspect of the above-described crime prevention cover, as shown in FIG. 9, a crime prevention cover 1 configured by an attachment portion 5 and a main body portion 6 is disclosed. The attachment portion 5 is formed so that the outer shape of the crime prevention cover 1 is easily operated by hand, and is provided with a locking projection 5a that the main body portion 6 locks. The mounting portion 5 can easily rotate the thumb turn 2 in a state where it is covered with the thumb turn 2. Moreover, the main-body part 6 has the latching | locking part 6a which can be latched to the latching protrusion 5a. By doing in this way, the crime prevention cover 1 can be attached or detached by a simple operation called a locking operation. Furthermore, when the main body 6 is idled by the locking portion 6a, it becomes impossible to lock and rotate the wire or the like.
[0006]
Furthermore, as another aspect of the above-described crime prevention cover, as shown in FIG. 10, a spring member 8 is provided in the locking portion 6a between the locking protrusion 5a and a plurality of outer peripheral edges on the main body 6 side. The thing provided with the engagement recessed part 5b and the engagement convex part 6b which can be engaged with this engagement recessed part 5b is disclosed.
With such a configuration, the main body 6 can always be left attached. That is, when the main body 6 is idled by the locking projection 5a and the locking portion 6a and the thumb turn 2 is to be rotated at all times, the main body 6 is pressed by hand and the engaging protrusion 6b is attached to the mounting portion 5. The thumb turn 2 could be rotated by engaging with the engaging recess 5b and rotating the main body 6 in this engaged state.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, since the outer shape of the crime prevention cover shown in FIGS. 7 and 8 is a cylindrical body, when it is put on the thumb turn, it is originally an oval shape, so that the thumb turn can be visually recognized by its rotational position or not. There is a problem that the locked state becomes invisible and the operability of locking and unlocking is lowered.
[0009]
The security cover shown in FIG. 9 is composed of a mounting portion that allows the thumb turn to rotate, and a body portion that is idled and detachable with respect to the mounting portion, and has a simple locking structure. For this reason, there is a drawback that the main body can be easily pulled out of the mounting portion.
[0010]
Furthermore, although the security cover shown in FIG. 10 can always be attached to the main body, it has to be rotated while pressing the main body by hand during the rotation operation of the thumb turn, thus reducing the operability.
[0011]
The present invention has been made in view of the above situation, and the first object thereof is to prevent the rotation of the thumb turn by a wire, a rod, etc., and to enable the operation only by the same rotation as before, and to avoid the use of the thumb turn. In some cases, the structure of a crime prevention thumb turn that makes rotation operation impossible is provided, thereby improving crime prevention and operability. In addition, the second object is to provide a structure of a crime prevention thumb turn in which the rotational position of the thumb turn can be easily recognized, thereby improving operability.

[0027]
The rotating disk 51 has a step portion 51f by coaxially forming a small diameter portion 51e on the front surface of the large diameter portion 51d on the rear surface 51b side. A screw hole 51g which is a fixing means 53 is formed in the radial direction on the side surface of the large diameter portion 51d, and the screw hole 51g communicates with the fitting hole 51a. A fixing screw 61 as a fixing means 53 is screwed into the screw hole 51g. That is, the rotary disc 51 inserts the knob 31 into the fitting hole 51a and tightens the fixing screw 61 screwed into the screw hole 51g, so that the tip of the fixing screw 61 is brought into pressure contact with the knob 31. It can be attached and fixed to. That is, the rotating disk 51 is attached so as to rotate integrally with the knob 31.
[0028]
A concave portion 51h is formed in the approximate center of the front surface 51c of the rotating disc 51, and the base end 55b of the stop shaft 55 is fitted into the concave portion 51h. In addition, a fixing hole 51j is penetrated from the rear surface 51b of the rotating disk 51 to the recess 51h. On the other hand, a screw hole 55c is formed in the retaining shaft 55 in the axial direction. The stop shaft 55 is fixed by fitting the base end 55b into the recess 51h by screwing the screw 52 inserted through the fixing hole 51j into the screw hole 55c of the stop shaft 55.
[0029]
The flange portion 55a of the stop shaft 55 is provided with a rotation position display means 55d. The rotational position display means 55d is labeled by minute unevenness, printed or stamped, or color-coded by partial coloring. For example, as shown in FIG. 2, the rotational position display means 55d is in a vertically long shape when unlocked, and in the case of locking, when the rotating disk 51 is rotated 90 degrees in the clockwise direction, it becomes a horizontally long shape. It is possible to distinguish between unlocking and locking.
[0030]
The idling member 57 has a through hole 63 through which the stop shaft 55 is inserted at the center. The idling member 57 has a plurality of protrusions 65 in the present embodiment, which protrude from the curved surface 57a of the flange portion 57c and extend radially from the through hole 63 along the curved surface. The ridge 65 extends from the skirt of the flange 57c.
[0031]
The protrusion 65 of the idling member 57 is located outside the large-diameter portion 51 d of the rotating disc 51, and the extending tip is disposed around the decorative ring 37. A step portion 65 a is formed on the inner side of the flange portion 57 c of the ridge portion 65. The step portion 65 a is combined with the step portion 51 f of the rotating disk 51. In this state, the idling member 57 is rotatable with respect to the stop shaft 55. Accordingly, the idling member 57 is held so as to be rotatable relative to the rotating disc 51. In the idling member 57, the gap between the ridge portions 65 is a window portion 57 b. From this window part 57b, the periphery 51k of the rotation disc 51 is exposed.
A concave groove 67 related to the engagement / disengagement mechanism 71 described later is formed on the outer surface of the convex strip portion 65 of the idling member 57. In this embodiment, each of the four ridges 65 is formed at two opposing positions, but may be formed at each ridge 65.
[0032]
Accordingly, the rotating disk 51 and the stop shaft 55 are assembled to the rotating disk 51, and the rotating disk 51 is attached and fixed to the knob 31 by the fixing means 53.
[0033]
As shown in FIG. 2, the cover member 69 has an outer peripheral surface that is preferably a curved surface, and the inner peripheral surface has recesses 69 a into which the respective protrusions 65 of the idling member 57 are fitted. It is formed. On the outer peripheral surface of the cover member 69 on the base end side, a pair of substantially hook-shaped protrusions 70 are formed to protrude along the axial direction. Each protrusion 70 is formed at a position that is 180 degrees with respect to the central axis and that is in the outward direction. In addition, mounting grooves 72 are formed on the outer peripheral surface along the circumferential direction so that the protrusions 70 are orthogonal to each other. Each protrusion 70 is formed with an insertion hole 70a in the longitudinal direction, which is the axial direction. Each mounting groove 72 is formed with a through hole 73 that penetrates the side wall of the cover member 69. A stopper member 71 as an engagement / disengagement mechanism is disposed in each of the mounting grooves 72.
[0034]
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, each stopper member 71 is provided with a shaft hole 71a in the middle and has a locking claw 71b at the tip. The stopper member 71 has an urging portion 71c extending obliquely from the middle. The stopper member 71 has a locking claw 71b and a biasing portion 71c located in the mounting groove 72 of the cover member 69, and a biasing portion 71c in contact with the bottom of the mounting groove. The pin 75 is inserted through the insertion hole 70a of the protrusion 70 so as to be swingable. As shown in FIG. 3, the stopper member 71 has a base end operation portion 71 d protruding from the outer surface of the cover member 69. The stopper member 71 is made of a flexible polyacetal resin or the like.
[0035]
Accordingly, the cover member 69 is attached together with the rotating disk 51 so as to cover the outer periphery from the front surface of the idling member 57, and the locking claws 71 b of each stopper member 71 are recessed grooves of the protruding strip portion 65 of the idling member 57. The cover member 69 and the idling member 57 are substantially integrated, and the entire security thumb turn 21 is attached to the knob 31.
[0036]
Next, the operation of the present embodiment will be described.
First, the case of locking from the indoor side will be described.
The operator removes the cover member 69. As shown in FIG. 4, the operation portions 71d of the stopper members 71 protruding from the outer surface of the cover member 69 are simultaneously swung against the urging force of the respective urging portions 71c. Then, the locking claws 71 b are retracted from the concave grooves 67 to release the mutual engagement state, and are pulled away from the idling member 57 together with the cover member 69 and removed.
[0037]
Next, the operator picks the peripheral edge 51k of the rotating disc 51 exposed from the window portion 57b. At this time, the picked fingers may also pick the idling member 57 at the same time.
[0038]
When the picked hand is twisted and the turning disc 51 is rotated, for example, clockwise, the pick 31 is also rotated accordingly. Then, for example, when it is turned 90 degrees, the inside of the lock box mechanism is operated by the input part 43 of the thumb-turn shaft 29, and the dead bolt advances into the mouth of the door 25.
[0039]
Thereby, the door 25 is locked from the indoor side. At this time, the rotation position display means 55d of the flange portion 55a of the retaining shaft 55 is horizontally long, and it is visually recognized that it is locked from the indoor side.
[0040]
In addition, the finger which picked up the periphery 51k of the rotation disc 51 contact | abuts to the side part of the protruding item | line part 65 with rotation of the rotation disc 51, and, thereby, the idling member 57 and the rotation disc 51 are contacted. Rotate in the same direction.
[0041]
After completing the locking operation, the cover member 69 is attached. This attachment is preferably performed by holding the cover member 69 at the position of each stopper member 71, and is performed by fitting each locking claw 71 b of these stopper members 71 into the concave groove 67 of the idling member 57.
[0042]
Next, when unwinding from the locked state, the cover member 69 is first removed as in the locked state. That is, the stopper members 71 protruding from the outer surface of the cover member 69 are simultaneously swung against the urging force of the respective urging portions 71c. Then, the locking claws 71 b are retracted from the concave grooves 67 to release the mutual engagement state, and are pulled away from the idling member 57 together with the cover member 69 and removed.
[0043]
Next, the peripheral edge 51k of the rotating disc 51 exposed from the window portion 57b between the ridge portions 65 is picked. When the rotating disk 51 is rotated in the counterclockwise direction, the thumb turn shaft 29 also rotates accordingly. When the rotating disk 51 is rotated 90 degrees, the inside of the lock box mechanism is operated by the input portion 43 of the thumb-turn shaft 29, and the dead bolt that has advanced to the mouth of the door 25 is retracted from the mouth of the door 25. .
[0044]
Thereby, the door 25 is unlocked from the indoor side. At this time, the rotational position display means 55d of the flange portion 55a of the ridge portion 65 is vertically long, and it is visually recognized that it is unlocked from the indoor side.
[0045]
When the unlocking operation is finished, the cover member 69 is attached. This attachment is preferably performed by holding the cover member 69 at the position of each stopper member 71, and is performed by fitting each locking claw 71 b of these stopper members 71 into the concave groove 67 of the idling member 57.
[0046]
In addition, when locking, a small window provided in the door 25 or the like is broken, or a wire is inserted from the gap between the door 25 and the door frame to attempt to illegally operate the security thumb turn 21 from the outside. Will slip on the surface of the cover member 69, that is, even if a rotation operation is performed with a wire or the like, such an operation is disabled. Here, even if a wire or the like is caught by the stopper member 71 protruding from the outer surface of the cover member 69, the cover member 69 rotates together with the idling member 57, thereby making unauthorized operation impossible, that is, preventing unauthorized unlocking. can do.
[0047]
Even if the cover member 69 is not attached, the idling member 57 itself can rotate with respect to the stop shaft 55 even if the wire is about to be locked to the ridge 65 by an unauthorized operation as described above. Therefore, the idling member 57 only idles, the stop shaft 55 and the knob 31 cannot be rotated, and the dead bolt does not advance or retreat. Therefore, unauthorized unlocking can be prevented.
[0048]
Thus, according to the above-described crime prevention thumb turn 21, the knob 31 of the existing thumb turn 23 is covered with the rotating disc 51, and a part of the rotating disc 51 is exposed on the rotating disc 51. The idling member 57 is covered. Further, the outer periphery of the rotating disk 51 and the idling member 57 is covered with a cover member 69. Therefore, even if a wire, a bar, or the like is used, the surface of the cover member 69 is slid, and the cover member 69 idles together with the idling member 57 and does not transmit the rotational force to the knob 31. In order to perform the thumb turn, the stopper member 71 is operated, the cover member 69 is removed from the idling member 57, and the rotating disc 51 that is exposed from the window 57b together with the idling member 57 is picked, as in the conventional case. It becomes possible to perform the locking / unlocking operation only by the rotation operation.
[0049]
During the thumb turn operation, the idling member 57 is disposed outside the rotating disc 51, so that the disc 51 can be picked together with the idling member 57 from the window portion 57b. Compared with the case of picking only the plate 51, the finger is hard to slip, and the idling member 57 is rotated together with the rotating disc 51 by this rotating operation, so that the operator can feel the operation and the operability is improved. Can be good.
[0050]
In addition, the rotational position of the knob 31 that has become invisible due to being covered with the rotating disk 51 can be known via the rotational position display means 55d, and the operability can be improved.
[0051]
In the above-described embodiment, the structure of the crime prevention thumb turn for obtaining crime prevention performance by retrofitting the existing thumb turn 23 which is an existing thumb turn has been described. Similar effects can be obtained.
That is, as shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, a thumb turn shaft 83 for inputting a turning operation force is provided in the lock mechanism portion, and a turning disc 85 and an idling member 87 similar to the above are provided on the thumb turn shaft 83. In addition, a cover member 69 that covers the rotating disk 85 and the idling member 87 may be configured.
[0052]
According to the structure of this crime prevention thumb turn, the turning disc 85 is provided on the thumb turn shaft 83, and the turning disc 85 is covered with the idling member 87 that exposes a part of the turning disc 85. . Further, the outer periphery of the rotating disk 85 and the idling member 87 is covered with a cover member 69. Therefore, even if a wire, a bar, or the like is used, the surface of the cover member 69 slides, and the cover member 69 idles together with the idling member 87, so that the rotational force to the thumb turn shaft 83 is not transmitted. In order to perform the thumb turn, the engagement / disengagement mechanism 71 is operated, the cover member 69 is removed from the idling member 87, and the peripheral edge 85a of the rotating disk 85 exposed from the window portion 87a is picked together with the idling member 87. Thus, it becomes possible to perform the locking / unlocking operation only by the rotation operation as in the prior art. The cover member 69 is attached to the idling member 87 after the thumb turn operation is completed.
[0053]
Further, in the structure of the security thumb turn, it is preferable that the rotational position display means 84 is provided on the tip surface of the thumb turn shaft 83. According to the structure of the security thumb turn, the rotational position of the thumb turn shaft 83 is the rotational position display means. 84, and the operability of locking and unlocking during thumb turn operation with the cover member 69 removed is improved.
[0054]
In each of the above-described embodiments, four ridges 65 are formed in the circumferential direction, but are not limited to four, and may be, for example, one to three. Moreover, five or more may be sufficient. In this case, the interval between the protrusions 65 may be an interval that allows the rotation disk 51 to be picked up by a finger and to be rotated.
[0055]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the structure of the security thumb turn according to the first aspect of the present invention, the knob of the existing thumb turn is covered with the rotating disk, and the rotating disk includes the rotating disk. Since a part of the idling member that is exposed is covered, and the outer periphery of the rotating disk and idling member is covered with a cover member, an unauthorized unlocking operation using a wire or a rod can be performed. Even if it is going to be performed, the wire or the like slides on the surface of the cover member, and the cover member idles together with the idle member so that the rotational force to the knob is not transmitted and can be prevented. In order to perform the thumb turn operation, the engagement / disengagement mechanism is operated, the cover member is removed from the idling member, and the rotating disc that is exposed from the window portion is picked up together with the idling member, so that only the conventional rotational operation is performed. Locking and unlocking operations can be performed. If the thumb turn operation is finished and it is not used, it will be covered with a cover member, which will prevent the unauthorized operation as described above, and unauthorized unlocking will be impossible.
[0056]
According to the structure of the security thumb turn according to claim 2, the rotation position of the knob which is no longer visible by being covered with the rotating disk can be known through the rotation position display means, and the cover member is removed. The operability of locking and releasing at the time of thumb turn operation can be improved.
[0057]
According to the structure of the crime prevention thumb turn according to claim 3, the thumb turn shaft is provided with a rotating disk, and the rotating disk is covered with an idling member that exposes a part of the rotating disk. Since the outer periphery of the rotating disk and the idling member is covered with a cover member, even if an unauthorized unlocking operation is performed using a wire or a rod, the wire or the like does not cover the surface of the cover member. In addition, the cover member is idled together with the idling member, and input of rotational force to the thumb-turn shaft can be prevented.
[0058]
According to the structure of the crime prevention thumb turn according to claim 4, the rotation position of the thumb turn shaft can be known through the rotation position display means, and the operability of locking and releasing during the thumb turn operation with the cover member removed. Can be improved.
