Description
【0001】

In addition, the synchronous rectifier circuit configured using a switching element such as a MOSFET is a self-excited type that controls the driving of each MOSFET based on the secondary side voltage of the transformer, and a control circuit independent of its own device. There is a separate excitation type that controls the drive of each MOSFET based on a control signal (see, for example, Patent Document 1). In either method, two MOSFETs are controlled so as not to short-circuit the secondary side voltage of the transformer. There is a need to.

In view of the above problems, an object of the present invention is to provide a switching power supply device capable of preventing a voltage drop of a power supply connected as a load and damage to a switching element.
[0011]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention is configured as follows.
In other words, the switching power supply device of the present invention includes a transformer and a first switching element connected to the primary side winding of the transformer, and the power of the input power supply depends on whether the first switching element is on or off. A power conversion circuit for converting the first switching element into predetermined power, a first control circuit for controlling on / off of the first switching element, and a second switching element connected to the secondary winding of the transformer A rectifying circuit for rectifying the power converted by the power conversion circuit and charging the rectified power to a power source as a load; and a second control circuit for controlling on / off of the second switching element And a third control circuit for controlling the start or stop of driving of the first and second control circuits. The third control circuit starts driving the first control circuit and drives the first switching element when starting the switching power supply device, and then drives the first switching element after a first predetermined time has elapsed. The driving of the control circuit is started to drive the second switching element, and when the switching power supply is stopped, the driving of the second control circuit is stopped to stop the driving of the second switching element. After the second predetermined time has elapsed, the driving of the first control circuit is stopped to stop the driving of the first switching element. The first predetermined time is a time during which the rectifier circuit is prevented from being driven while the power conversion circuit is stopped when the switching power supply device is activated. The second predetermined time is a time during which the rectifier circuit is prevented from being driven while the power conversion circuit is stopped when the switching power supply device is stopped.
[0012]
Accordingly, since only the second control circuit is not driven, the second switching element is turned on and off, whereby the outflow of charges charged in the power source as a load can be prevented, and the load As a result, it is possible to prevent the power supply voltage drop and the switching element from being damaged.
[0013]
Further, the third control circuit of the switching power supply device outputs a voltage whose voltage value gradually increases when the switching power supply device is activated and gradually decreases when the switching power supply device is stopped. When the voltage value of the voltage output from the step-up / step-down circuit and the voltage output from the step-up / down circuit rises above the first reference voltage value, the first control circuit starts to be driven and is output from the step-up / down circuit. When the voltage value of the voltage falls below the first reference voltage value, the first comparison circuit for stopping the driving of the first control circuit and the voltage value of the voltage output from the step-up / down circuit are the second. If the voltage value of the voltage output from the step-up / down circuit drops below the second reference voltage value, the second control circuit starts to be driven. Stop driving the control circuit Second and a comparator circuit for said second reference voltage value, may be configured to be higher than the first reference voltage value.
[0014]
Thus, since the second reference voltage value is higher than the first reference voltage value, the third control circuit does not always drive the second control circuit when the first control circuit is not driven. Can be controlled. Thus, since only the second control circuit is not driven, the second switching element is turned on and off, whereby the outflow of the charge charged in the power source as the load can be prevented. As a result, it is possible to prevent the voltage drop of the power supply as a load and the switching element from being damaged.
[0015]
In addition, since the first and second comparison circuits can be composed of, for example, a semiconductor element such as a MOS, an increase in size of the switching power supply device can be suppressed.
Further, the switching power supply device includes a soft start circuit that gradually increases or decreases the on-time of each of the plurality of first switching elements and the plurality of second switching elements in accordance with the amount of charge charged in the capacitor. The third control circuit may be configured to start or stop driving of the first and second control circuits based on an amount of charge charged in the capacitor.
[0016]
In this way, by using the capacitor provided for suppressing the overcurrent to the switching element that is generated when the switching power supply device starts to be driven, also for controlling the driving of the first and second control circuits. Thus, it is possible to prevent only the second control circuit from being driven without newly providing a capacitor. Thereby, the enlargement of the switching power supply device can be suppressed.
