Claims (7)
- ディスプレイパネル、該ディスプレイパネル上に配置される導光板、該導光板に赤外線又は紫外線を供給する光源、及び、前記導光板上の位置を認識する位置認識ペンを含むタッチパネルユニットであって、
前記光源が少なくとも一つ前記導光板の側面の一端に設置され、
前記導光板は、上側接合面を有する上導光板と、該上側接合面と実質的に隙間なく組み合わすことが可能な形状の下側接合面を有する下導光板とからなり、
前記光源から入射された赤外線又は紫外線を前記導光板の表面方向に反射可能な導光面が、当該導光板の上導光板と下導光板との接合面の一部に形成され、
前記導光板の導光面には、前記光源から入射された赤外線または紫外線に反応して該導光板における位置情報を発信する位置情報発信部分が形成されたものであり、前記位置認識ペンは、該位置情報を検出可能なものであることを特徴とするタッチパネルユニット。 - 前記導光面は、前記上導光板の上側接合面に形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のタッチパネルユニット。
- 前記上側接合面は、該上側接合面の面方向に対して所定の面角度をなす略矩形の第1傾斜面及び該第1傾斜面に対して所定の面角度をなす略矩形の第2傾斜面を交互に含む形状に形成されており、前記導光面が該第1傾斜面に設けられることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のタッチパネルユニット。
- 前記上側接合面は、前記第1傾斜面と前記第2傾斜面とが連続した断面鋸歯状に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のタッチパネルユニット。
- 前記上側接合面は、前記第1傾斜面と前記第2傾斜面とからなるV字状凹部が平坦面に断続的に複数個形成された断続的断面V字形状に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のタッチパネルユニット。
- 前記位置認識ペンは、受光した赤外線又は紫外線に含まれる前記位置情報を検出する検出器、及び可視光カットフィルターを含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項5のいずれか1項に記載のタッチパネルユニット。
- 請求項1〜請求項6のいずれか1項に記載のタッチパネルユニットを用いるディスプレイパネル上の位置の検出方法であって、
ディスプレイパネルに画像データを表示する画像データ表示ステップ、
前記ディスプレイパネル上に配置された導光板の表面に近接して位置認識ペンを配置する位置認識ペン近接配置ステップ、
前記導光板に光源から赤外線又は紫外線を入射する導光板光入射ステップ、
前記導光板に形成された導光面により、該導光板内の位置情報発信部分の位置情報を含む赤外線又は紫外線を導光板の表面に導く位置情報含有光放射ステップ、
前記導光板の表面に近接して配置した前記位置認識ペンが、タッチパネルの透明導光板から放射された位置情報を含む赤外線又は紫外線を受光する位置情報含有光受光ステップ、
受光した前記位置情報を含む赤外線又は紫外線から位置情報発信部分の位置情報を検出する位置情報検出ステップ、及び、
処理装置が、送信された前記位置情報を処理して、前記位置認識ペンのタッチパネル上における位置を認識するペン位置認識ステップ、
を含むことを特徴とするディスプレイパネル上の位置の検出方法。
