【0001】
例えば、LiPF6、LiBF4、LiClO4及びLiSbF6等の無機リチウム塩;LiCF3SO3、LiN(CF3SO2)2 、LiN(CF3CF2SO2)2、LiN(CF3SO2)(C4F9SO2)及びLiC(CF3SO2)3等の含フッ素有機リチウム塩;Li[PF5(CF2CF2CF3)]、Li[PF4(CF2CF2CF3)2]、Li[PF3(CF2CF2CF3)3]、Li[PF5(CF2CF2CF2CF3)]、Li[PF4(CF2CF2CF2CF3)2]及びLi[PF3(CF2CF2CF2CF3)3]等のフルオロアルキルフッ化リン酸リチウムなどが挙げられる。

An electric vehicle requires a large amount of energy when starting and accelerating, and must efficiently regenerate the large amount of energy generated when decelerating. Therefore, a lithium secondary battery used as a power source for an electric vehicle is required to have high output characteristics and input characteristics. Furthermore, since automobiles are used in a wide temperature environment, high input / output characteristics at low temperatures and good cycle characteristics at high temperatures are also required.
[0004]
In order to improve various characteristics of the lithium secondary battery, it has been studied to add a silicon compound to the electrolytic solution. For example, a chemical battery (JP-A-3-236171) showing a high electromotive force and a large discharge capacity by containing an organosilicon heterocyclic compound in the electrolytic solution and improving wettability, and the surface of the carbon material is a silane-based alkyl. A non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 8-180865) in which gas generation is suppressed by using a negative electrode treated with an agent, and a cycle by adding an organosilicon compound having a Si-N bond to the electrolyte Non-aqueous electrolyte battery with improved characteristics (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 11-16602), Non-aqueous electrolyte for secondary battery with addition of silicone oil to suppress gas generation due to decomposition of the electrolytic solution (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 11-273732) No.), by adding a polysiloxane compound to the electrolyte to absorb oxygen generated during short-circuiting or overcharging, the battery burst explosion was suppressed. Secondary battery (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2000-277152), a secondary battery in which initial charge and discharge efficiency is improved by adding an alkoxysilane compound to suppress a reductive decomposition reaction of a non-aqueous solvent (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2000-348766) ), A non-aqueous electrolyte (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2001-167772) in which an organic silicon compound having a Si—H bond is added to reduce free acid generated by hydrolysis of the electrolyte, and a three-dimensional siloxane is added to the electrolyte In addition, a lithium secondary battery (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2001-283907) having improved cycle characteristics by inactivating hydrogen fluoride generated from a fluorine-containing electrolyte is known.
[0005]
However, any of the secondary batteries is insufficient for applications requiring high battery characteristics and cycle characteristics such as power sources for electric vehicles, and further improvements are desired.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
An object of the present invention is to provide a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery suitable for applications requiring high input / output characteristics and good cycle characteristics, and a non-aqueous electrolyte that provides the same.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problems, the present inventors have made various studies, and as a result, by incorporating cyclic siloxane in the electrolyte, the input / output characteristics at low temperatures and the cycle characteristics at high temperatures can be improved. As a result, the present invention has been completed.
[0008]
That is, the gist of the present invention includes a nonaqueous solvent, a lithium salt, and the general formula (1):
[0009]
[Formula 4]
[0010]
(Wherein, R 1 and R 2 each independently represent an organic group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms, n represents represents. An integer of 3-10) and characterized by containing a cyclic siloxane represented by It exists in non-aqueous electrolyte . Another gist is a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery containing a positive electrode, a negative electrode capable of inserting and extracting lithium, and a lithium salt, and is produced using the non-aqueous electrolyte described above. The present invention resides in a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery.
[0011]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery according to the present invention includes a general formula (1):
[0012]
[Chemical formula 5]
[0013]
(In the formula, R 1 and R 2 each independently represents an organic group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms, and n represents an integer of 3 to 10).
The cyclic siloxane represented by these is contained.
The reason why the input / output characteristics and the high-temperature cycle characteristics of the lithium secondary battery are improved by including the cyclic siloxane in the electrolytic solution is considered as follows. That is, the cyclic siloxane is easier to disperse in the electrolyte solution than the chain siloxane, and can sufficiently contact the electrode surface and the solid electrolyte interface (SEI), thereby improving the input / output characteristics of the battery. Can be improved. This is because the Si-O bond of siloxane has high polarity, and it reacts or coordinates with the electrode surface and SEI to improve the input / output of the battery by modifying it so that Li ions can easily enter and exit. Conceivable.
[0014]
Examples of the organic group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms include methyl group, ethyl group, propyl group, isopropyl group, butyl group, isobutyl group, sec-butyl group, t-butyl group, pentyl group, 1-methylbutyl group, and 2-methylbutyl. A chain alkyl group such as a group, 3-methylbutyl group, 1-methyl-2-methylpropyl group, 2,2-dimethylpropyl group, hexyl group, heptyl group, octyl group, nonyl group, decyl group; cyclohexyl group, norbornanyl Cyclic alkyl group such as a group; alkenyl group such as vinyl group, 1-propenyl group, allyl group, butenyl group, 1,3-butadienyl group; alkynyl group such as ethynyl group, propynyl group, butynyl group; trifluoropropyl group, etc. An alkyl group having a saturated heterocyclic group such as 3-pyrrolidinopropyl group; Phenylmethyl group, aralkyl groups such as phenylethyl; aryl group such as phenyl group which may have a trialkylsilyl group such as trimethylsilyl group; etc. trialkylsiloxy group such as trimethylsiloxy group. Of these, organic groups having 1 to 6 carbon atoms are preferable because those having a smaller number of carbon atoms are more likely to exhibit the characteristics of the aforementioned cyclic siloxane. Further, the alkenyl group acts on the electrolytic solution and SEI to improve battery performance such as input / output characteristics, and the aryl group has an action of trapping radicals generated in the battery at the time of charge / discharge to improve overall battery performance. Therefore, the organic group is preferably a methyl group, a vinyl group or a phenyl group.
[0015]
As n, 3-6, especially 3-4 are preferable.

Of these, cyclotrisiloxane is preferred. Two or more kinds of cyclic siloxane may be used in combination.
[0016]
The cyclic siloxane represented by the general formula (1) is preferably contained in the electrolytic solution so as to be usually 0.0001 to 1 mol / kg. If it is less than 0.0001 mol / kg, the effect of improving the input / output characteristics and cycle characteristics of the battery is insufficient. On the other hand, if it exceeds 1 mol / kg, the battery performance may be lowered or the battery may not operate. 0.001 to 0.5 mol / kg, particularly 0.05 to 0.2 mol / kg is more preferable, and 0.01 to 0.03 mol / kg is most preferable. The cyclic siloxane represented by the general formula (1) may disappear during repeated charging and discharging of the battery, but the effect of the cyclic siloxane contained in the electrolyte even after the disappearance is continue. Therefore, it is considered that the cyclic siloxane reacts or coordinates with the electrode surface and SEI as described above to improve the properties thereof.
[0017]
Examples of non-aqueous solvents for the electrolyte include cyclic carbonates such as ethylene carbonate, propylene carbonate, butylene carbonate; dimethyl carbonate, diethyl carbonate, di-n-propyl carbonate, ethyl methyl carbonate, methyl-n-propyl carbonate, ethyl-n. -Chain carbonates such as propyl carbonate; Cyclic esters such as γ-butyrolactone and γ-valerolactone; Chain esters such as methyl acetate and methyl propionate; Cyclic ethers such as tetrahydrofuran, 2-methyltetrahydrofuran and tetrahydropyran A chain ether such as dimethoxyethane and dimethoxymethane; and a sulfur-containing organic solvent such as sulfolane and diethylsulfone. Here, the volume of the non-aqueous solvent is a value measured at 20 ° C. In addition, what is necessary is just to measure a volume in a molten state what is solid at 20 degreeC.
[0018]
As the alkylene carbonate having 2 to 4 carbon atoms in the alkylene group, ethylene carbonate or propylene carbonate is preferable.
As the dialkyl carbonate having 1 to 4 carbon atoms in the alkyl group, dimethyl carbonate, diethyl carbonate, or ethyl methyl carbonate is preferable.

These may use multiple types together. Among these, LiPF 6 or LiBF 4 is preferable.
[0020]
The lithium salt is preferably used so as to have a concentration of 0.5 to 2 mol / liter in the electrolytic solution. Even if it is less than 0.5 mol / liter or more than 2 mol / liter, the electric conductivity of the electrolytic solution may be lowered, and the performance of the battery may be deteriorated.
Further, when the electrolyte contains a cyclic carbonate having a carbon-carbon unsaturated bond in the molecule, the cycle characteristics of the battery can be improved.

If it exceeds 5% by weight, the battery characteristics after storage may be deteriorated, or the internal pressure of the battery may increase due to gas generation. On the other hand, if it is less than 0.01% by weight, the cycle characteristics cannot be sufficiently improved.
[0023]
Furthermore, the electrolyte solution may contain other useful compounds, for example, conventionally known additives, dehydrating agents, deoxidizing agents, overcharge preventing agents, and the like, if necessary.
As additives, carbonate compounds such as fluoroethylene carbonate, trifluoropropylene carbonate, phenylethylene carbonate and erythritan carbonate; succinic anhydride, glutaric anhydride, maleic anhydride, citraconic anhydride, glutaconic anhydride, itaconic anhydride, Carboxylic anhydrides such as diglycolic anhydride, cyclohexanedicarboxylic anhydride, cyclopentanetetracarboxylic dianhydride and phenylsuccinic anhydride; ethylene sulfite, 1,3-propane sultone, 1,4-butane sultone, methane Sulfur-containing compounds such as methyl sulfonate, busulfan, sulfolane, sulfolene, dimethyl sulfone and tetramethylthiuram monosulfide; 1-methyl-2-pyrrolidinone, 1-methyl-2-piperide , 3-methyl-2-oxazolidinone, 1,3-dimethyl-2-imidazolidinone and N- methyl succinimide nitrogen-containing compounds such as imides, such as hydrocarbon compounds such as fluoro benzene. Further, the active material can be roll-formed as it is to obtain a sheet electrode, or a pellet electrode by compression molding.
[0029]
As the binder, any material can be used as long as it is a material that is stable with respect to the solvent and the electrolytic solution used during electrode production.
