Claims (10)
- 自動車(1)の乗客保護手段(7,8,9,10)のための、衝突識別方法であって、加速度センサまたは圧力センサ(6)の出力信号(a)の信号区間を連続的に、その中に含まれる周波数について分析する方法において、
信号区間に含まれる周波数スペクトルを適切な数の周波数バンドにまず分割し、
引き続き、各周波数バンドごとに存在する信号エネルギーを検出し、
その後、前記各周波数バンドごとの信号エネルギーと、注目する前記信号区間の全体エネルギーとの比を形成し、
このようにして得られた、前記各周波数バンドごとの比を所定の閾値(SW)と比較する、
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法において、前記各周波数バンドごとの比を、前記所定の閾値(SW)との比較前に平滑化する方法。
- 請求項1または2記載の方法において、前記比が前記所定の閾値(SW)を上回る回数は、少数の周波数だけが含まれているか否か、または注目する信号区間が多数の周波数の広いスペクトルを含んでいるか否かについての尺度である方法。
- 請求項3記載の方法において、前記上回る回数を、正の値および負の値を取ることができるように係数により減算する方法。
- 請求項3または4記載の方法において、前記上回る回数を任意に調整可能なスケーリング係数と乗算することにより、重み付けを施す方法。
- 請求項3から5までのいずれか一項記載の方法において、前記上回る回数を、乗客保護手段に対するトリガ基準と比較されるトリガ閾値に取り込み、前記トリガ基準が前記トリガ閾値を上回る際に乗客保護手段をイネーブルする方法。
- 請求項6記載の方法において、前記上回る回数が大きい場合、トリガ閾値をより低くし、前記上回る回数が小さい場合、トリガ閾値をより高くする方法。
- 自動車(1)の乗客保護手段(7,8,9,10)のための、衝突識別装置において、加速度センサまたは圧力センサ(6)の出力信号(a)を、その中に含まれる周波数について、請求項1から7までのいずれか一項記載の方法に従い連続的に分析するための手段を有する装置。
- 請求項8記載の装置において、固定長のバッファ(11)が設けられており、
該バッファには分析すべき出力信号(a)が中間記憶され、
現在の時点での分析は、もっとも新しい値または他の適切な値から過去における所定の時間までの出力信号(a)の信号区間を常に処理する装置。 - 請求項8または9記載の装置において、固定長のバッファ(11)が設けられており、
該バッファは、出力信号(a)のそれぞれもっとも古い値をもっとも新しい値により置換する装置。
