そこで上記の特許文献1〜4に示されるように、既設の防音壁の上端に消音筒その他の防音体を取付けることにより、騒音低減効果を数dB程度高めることが行われている。しかし場所によっては、日照権や景観上の観点から防音壁の高さを既設のものよりもあまり高くできないとの制約条件が付けられていることがある。そのような場合には、既設防音壁の最上段の遮音パネルを1枚取り外してから防音体を取付けることとなり、取り替え工事のコストが嵩むことや、取り外した遮音パネルの廃棄処分に手数を要するなどの問題があった。

本発明は上記した従来の問題点を解決し、防音壁の高さを大幅に変えることなく、また既設の遮音パネルを取り外すことなく、既設の防音壁の上端に防音体を取付けることができる防音体の取付け構造を提供するためになされたものである。

上記の課題を解決するためになされた請求項1の発明は、H形支柱に遮音パネルを建て込んでなる既設の防音壁のH形支柱の上部外側に、遮音性部材よりなる外郭と、その内部に設けられた遮音性部材よりなる隔壁と、吸音性部材よりなる上面板とにより構成される防音体を取付けるための防音体の取付け構造であって、H形支柱の上部天端に固定した第1の取付金具と、H形支柱のフランジ部を挟み込んだ状態で固定され、かつH形支柱の背面へ突出した防音体固定用の突出部を有する第2の取付金具によって、前記防音体を上下の2箇所でH形支柱に取り付け、固定したことを特徴とするものである

【発明の実施の形態】
以下に本発明の好ましい実施形態を示す。
図1は請求項1の防音体の取付け構造を採用した防音壁全体の断面図であり、1は一定間隔で配置されたH形支柱、2は隣接するH形支柱1、1間に落とし込むように建て込まれた既設の遮音パネルである。遮音パネル2は遮音材単独または遮音材に吸音材を組み込んだもので、その背面(民家側の面)には凹部3が形成されている。4は防音体で遮音パネル2とほぼ同一の長さを有し、後述する手段によって既設防音壁のH形支柱1の上部外側に取付けられている。

図4に示すように、請求項1の発明では防音体4は上下の2箇所でH形支柱1に取付けられる。既設の防音壁の上端部は、図5に示すようにH形支柱1の天端に密着配置される天端板8と、その上方を覆う笠木9とを備えており、遮音パネル2の落下防止用ワイヤ10の端部に設けられたワイヤ止め11が天端板8の長孔にはめ込まれている。

上記のようにして防音体4の前面上端部が第1の取付金具12によってH形支柱1の上端に固定されるが、これだけではなお不安定であるため、図4に示すように第2の取付金具17によってH形支柱1のフランジ部18に防音体4の前面中央部が固定される。この実施形態の第2の取付金具17は図8に示すようにH形支柱1のフランジ部18を挟み込む2部材からなるもので、H形支柱1の背面への突出部19に防音体4の前面中央部がボルト20によって固定される。これにより防音体4は上部と中央部との2箇所でH形支柱1に安定的に固定される。またこのような第2の取付金具17を用いれば、H形支柱1に孔明け加工を施さずに防音体4が取り付けできる。

なお、遮音パネル2の落下防止用ワイヤ10の端部に設けられたワイヤ止め11は、図4、図9に示すように第1の取付金具12のワイヤ取付孔14の大径部に通し、横方向にずらせて細幅の長孔部分に固定しておく。また図9に示すように、防音体落下防止用ワイヤ22を防音体4のアイボルト21に通し、さらに第1の取付金具12のワイヤ取付孔14にも通して端部のワイヤ止め23を同様に固定しておく。これによって車両衝突時における遮音パネル2及び防音体4の落下を防止できる。最後に、図4に示すように新たな笠木24を取り付けておく。

【発明の効果】
以上に説明したように、本発明によれば既設の防音壁から遮音パネルを取り外すことなく、既設の防音壁の上端に防音体を道路側から取付けることができるから、取付け工数及びコストを削減することができる。また遮音パネルを取り外す必要がないため、その廃棄処分の問題を生じない。しかも防音体は既設防音壁のH形支柱の上部外側に取付けられるので、防音壁の高さを大幅に変えることなく、防音壁の騒音低減効果を高めることができる。
