Description
(a)分離対象の各物体(each of said objects)を単独物体(a separate object)として分別装置内に分散させる工程;
(b)該単独物体に1以上のエネルギー源に由来するエネルギーを当てる工程;
(c)該単独物体の1以上の点から第1多変量信号(first multivariate signal)を1以上のセンサーにより記録する工程;
(d)該母集団の部分集合を対象に予め実行しておいた該第1多変量信号と該組成特性の間の多変量キャリブレーション法(multivariate calibration method)を用いて、単変量の変動(univariate variation)を示す1以上の特性変数(quality variable)の大きさを表わす第2信号(second signal)を予測又は分類する工程; 及び
(e)該1以上の点からの該第2信号の1以上の特性変数の大きさに応じて該選別装置から該単独物体を該1以上の回収クラスへと分離する工程;
を含む。
以下、実施例を参照しながら本発明をさらに説明する。しかし言うまでもなく、これらの実施例は本発明を何ら限定するものではない。
バルク・サンプル中の個別小麦穀粒のタンパク質含有量には大幅な変動が存在すると判明した。北部欧州産小麦サンプルの製パン性の個別穀粒間の変動幅は一般に8〜16%である。
周知のように、異なる小麦サンプルはたとえばローフ体積などの点で異なる製パン性を示す。
ポップコーンのポッピング性能は各穀粒のエネルギー(たとえば電子レンジのマイクロ波)吸収能と相関する。ポッピング性能の背後に潜む変数はまだ完全には解明されていない。
Claims (12)
- 不均一母集団に由来し固有変動を有するバルク内の物体を、該固有変動よりも小さい該物体中のある有機物質に関する組成特性を表わす変動を有する1以上のクラスを該バルクから、分別装置として、機械的手段を用いて分離することにより選別する方法であって、次の工程;
(a)分離対象の各物体を単独物体として分別装置内に分散させる工程;
(b)該単独物体に1以上のエネルギー源に由来するエネルギーを当てる工程;
(c)該単独物体の1以上の点から第1多変量信号を1以上のセンサーにより記録する工程;
(d)該母集団の部分集合を対象に予め実行しておいた該第1多変量信号と該組成特性の間の多変量キャリブレーション法を用いて、単変量の変動を示す1以上の特性変数の大きさを表わす第2信号を予測又は分類する工程; 及び
(e)該1以上の点からの該第2信号の1以上の特性変数の大きさに応じて該選別装置から該単独物体を該1以上の回収クラスへと分離する工程;
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 工程(b)の前に、第1多変量信号を管制下前処理又は非管制下前処理により変換することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 組成特性が未定義の組成特性であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- キャリブレーション法が非管制下多変量法に基づくことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の方法。
- 組成特性が定義済み組成特性であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- キャリブレーション法が管制下多変量法に基づくことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の方法。
- 組成特性が化学的特性、構造的特性、官能的特性又は機能的特性、もしくはそれらの組み合わせであることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 放射エネルギーが電磁放射及び/又は音波であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 電磁放射及び/又は音波が紫外線、可視光、近赤外線、赤外線、蛍光、超音波、マイクロ波又は核磁気共鳴、もしくはそれらの組み合わせであることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。
- 第1多変量信号が 30ms未満の時間内に記録されることを特徴とする請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 第1多変量信号が 5ms未満の時間内に記録されることを特徴とする請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 第1多変量信号が透過、反射又は放出エネルギーとして記録されることを特徴とする請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
