Description

【0001】

[0001]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a small snowmobile, and more particularly to a small snowmobile with improved air cleaner installation.
[0002]
[Prior art]
JP-A-4-314673 is disclosed as a small snowmobile.
This technology is a snowmobile of a type in which one or two people sit on and drive and operate in a sitting posture.
The engine is disposed in front of the steering shaft, and an intake device is disposed immediately after the engine.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the above conventional snowmobile, the engine and the intake device are arranged in front and rear in front of the steering axis, so the space in the front part of the vehicle body in front of the steering axis is congested. As a result, the entire front cowl surrounding the front part of the vehicle body The size and width in the front-rear direction increase, and the overall size increases.
In addition, the engine, intake device, other engine accessories, and the steering mechanism are concentrated in front of the steering shaft, and the equipment is arranged in the cowling that surrounds them. Maintenance of equipment is also difficult.
[0004]
By the way, when the snowmobile is further reduced in size and is made to stand up, the overall layout of the above-described conventional snowmobile is such that the weight of the first half of the entire vehicle body is increased, and the center of gravity is located relatively in front.
In the case of the seated type, the seating, driving, and maneuvering are performed at a low position, so the above-described conventional layout may be used. However, in the case of a more compact and standing type, the center of gravity of the vehicle body is brought closer to the center of the vehicle body. It is necessary to consider.
[0005]
If the snowmobile is further downsized and is standing, it is preferable to place the center of gravity close to the occupant to stand on from the viewpoint of maneuverability, steering, etc. On the other hand, the drive mechanism of the drive track belt system is adopted at the rear, so the front and rear length of the vehicle tends to be large, and the total length is as short as possible from the standpoint of steerability and steerability. A smaller width in the left-right direction is preferable from the viewpoint of handling and the like, and conventional improvements are desirable.
[0006]
The present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems and to meet the above-mentioned demands. The arrangement of the air cleaner that constitutes the intake system attached to the engine is the same as that of a general light vehicle. The rear space of the engine is made smaller, the air cleaner with a large capacity is rationally arranged, and the side space immediately after the engine is effectively used in the cowling surrounding the portion including the engine side portion. Provided is a snowmobile which can be provided with an air cleaner and which can rationally arrange various devices including engine accessories in a narrow space.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, Claim 1 includes a pair of left and right frame members facing rearward from the steering shaft support portion, an engine is disposed between the pair of frame members, and the steering shaft support portion, and In a snowmobile in which the entire outside of the frame member is surrounded by a cowling, an air cleaner connected to the engine intake system is disposed on one side of the frame member, and the air cleaner is disposed on the inside of the cowling one side, A portion facing the first space formed between the inner side and one outer portion of the frame member facing the inner side, a portion facing the second space inside the frame member, the first space and the second space And the air cleaner has a surface along the shape of the frame member, and this surface is in contact with the side surface and the upper surface of the frame member. The frame member is formed in a square pipe shape in cross section, and the air cleaner is formed in a vertically long box shape whose width is smaller than the height, and the upper portion of the engine is formed on the upper portion formed in the box shape. A connecting tube to be connected to the inhalation system is attached, and an attachment piece to be attached to the frame member is provided on each of the front and rear sides of the part so as to sandwich the part to which the connecting tube is attached. The air cleaner is provided at a front edge portion and below the connecting tube, and the rear attachment piece is provided at a lower edge portion of the air cleaner and below the front attachment piece.
