Description
この発明の他の目的は、現場に設置可能な、又は十分に持ち運び可能な還元炉装置を提供することにある。
この発明の更なる目的は、可変速度で運転可能な微粉の還元炉を提供することにある。
この発明の他の目的は、有害廃液の処理が不要な方法を提供することにある。
この発明の他の目的は、有害固形廃棄物を発生しない方法を提供することにある。
a.金属を含有するダストと、炭素質の微粉とを混合して粒状混合物を形成する工程と、
b.揮発性金属及びアルカリ金属を還元し、ガス状生成物とともにそこから放出させるために、該金属を含有するダストと炭素質の微粉との混合物を、十分な温度で且つ十分な時間をかけて直接燃焼させることによって加熱する工程と、
c.該放出された金属及びガスを収集し、該金属を再酸化する工程と、
d.該ガスから有用な金属を分離し、生産物としてそのプロセスから該有用な金属を取り出す工程と
を備えている。
注:Aは、7.3グラムの混合物を、1100℃で15分間加熱
Bは、非加熱の混合物で、混合比はEAFダスト84%に木炭16%(粉砕して乾燥)
C乃至Eは、9グラムの混合物を、1150℃の炉温で加熱
20 スライドゲート、22 水平移動コンベア、24 バーナ、26 煙道ガス排気管、28 サイドシール、40集積貯蔵容器、40A 集積貯蔵容器、42 混合コンベア、44A 集積貯蔵容器、48 経路、50 バグフィルタ、52 容器、54 排気用煙突、56 送風機、88 熱電対、92 輸送容器、94 スライドゲート、A 空気
Claims (12)
- 金属を含有するダストから有用な金属を回収する方法であって、
a.金属を含有するダストと、炭素質の微粉とを混合して粒状混合物を形成し、サイドシールにより側部が水平トンネル炉と密封接続された水平移動コンベアのパン全体にわたって均等にその粒状混合物を配給する工程と、
b.前記水平トンネル炉内で、前記粒状混合物を十分な温度で且つ十分な時間をかけて加熱し、揮発性金属及びアルカリ金属を還元して、ガス状生成物とともにそこから放出させる工程と、
c.該放出された金属及びガスを収集し、希釈空気を加えて前記得られた揮発性金属を再酸化する工程と、
d.該ガスから有用な金属を分離し、生産物としてそのプロセスから該有用な金属を取り出す工程と
を備えた方法。 - 前記炭素質の微粉は、炭塵、木炭、石油コークス、及びこれらの混合物からなる組から選択される請求項1に記載の方法。
- 該金属を含有するダストは、電気アーク炉のダストである請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記の放出された揮発性金属と、アルカリ金属と、付随するガス状生成物とを、空気で希釈することによって冷却する工程を備える請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記の放出された揮発性金属及びアルカリ金属を、ダイオキシン化合物の生成を防ぐために、前記ガス状生成物中の硫黄と反応させる工程を備えている請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記金属を含有するダストと炭素質の微粉との混合物を、十分な温度で且つ十分な時間をかけて加熱し、その中に含まれている鉄を金属化鉄粒子に還元する工程と、前記金属化鉄粒子を収集する工程とを備える請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記温度を1100〜1200℃の範囲に維持する工程を備える請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記混合物を、10〜20分の間加熱する工程を備える請求項6に記載の方法。
- 金属を含有する微粒のダストから有用な金属を回収するための装置であって、
a.水平トンネル炉のチャンバーであって、サイドシールにより下部に配置された水平移動コンベアの側部と側部が密封接続された水平トンネル炉のチャンバーと、
b.前記水平移動コンベアのパン全体にわたって均等に、細かく分割された金属を含む微粒材料を配給するための手段と、
c.前記水平移動コンベア上の微粒材料を加熱するための手段と、
d.前記水平移動コンベア上の該微粒材料の温度を監視するための手段と、
e.前記水平移動コンベアの移動頻度を制御することによって温度設定点を維持するための手段と、
f.前記の金属を含む微粒材料の中で、有用な金属を金属化生成物まで還元するための手段と、
g.鉄を含んでいる細かく分割された金属含有微粒材料から揮発性金属を分離するための手段と、
h.前記金属化生成物を排出し、収集するための手段と、
を備えている装置。 - 揮発性金属及びアルカリ金属を冷却して取り出すための手段を備えている請求項9に記載の装置。
- トラック台車を備え、前記水平トンネル炉のチャンバー及び前記水平移動コンベアはそのトラック台車に据え付けられている請求項9に記載の装置。
- 鉄道車両を備え、前記水平トンネル炉のチャンバー及び前記水平移動コンベアとはその鉄道車両に据え付けられている請求項9に記載の装置。
