Description
図1〜図4において、1はプロジェクタタイプのヘッドランプである。このヘッドランプ1には、光源としての放電灯2と、リフレクタ3と、集光レンズ4と、シェード5と、切替手段としてのソレノイド6およびバネ部材7とを備える。
この実施例1におけるヘッドランプ1は、以上のごとき構成からなり、以下、その作用について説明する。

なお、前記の実施例1においては、光拡散手段が後方側可動シェード11に内側に突出して設けたビード31から構成されているものである。ところが、この発明においては、光拡散手段としてのビードを前方側可動シェード10に設けても良いし、また、両方の可動シェード10、11に設けても良い。

Claims (6)
- 照射光の一部をオーバーヘッドサイン側に照射するヘッドランプにおいて、
光源と、前記光源からの光を反射させるリフレクタと、前記リフレクタからの反射光を路面などに照射する集光レンズと、前記リフレクタと前記集光レンズとの間に配置され、所定の配光パターンを形成する2枚の薄板構造のシェードと、を備え、
前記2枚の薄板構造のシェードは、前記集光レンズ側の前方側シェードと前記リフレクタ側の後方側シェードとから構成されており、
前記前方側シェードの上下方向の長さが前記後方側シェードの上下方向の長さよりも短く、
前記前方側シェードと前記後方側シェードとの相互に対向する内側面には、反射面がそれぞれ設けられており、
前記前方側シェードの反射面は、前記リフレクタから前記集光レンズのほぼ下半部に進む反射光の一部であって、前記前方側シェードと前記後方側シェードとの間に入射した光を前記後方側シェードの反射面に反射させる導光反射面であり、
前記後方側シェードの反射面は、前記前方側シェードの導光反射面からの光を前記集光レンズの下部側に反射させてオーバーヘッドサイン側に照射する出力反射面である、
ことを特徴とするヘッドランプ。 - 前記前方側シェードの導光反射面、前記後方側シェードの出力反射面のうち少なくともいずれか一方には、光拡散手段が設けられている、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載されたヘッドランプ。
- 前記光拡散手段は、前記後方側シェードの出力反射面のうち、前記前方側シェードの導光反射面の下端部と対向する位置に、前記前方側シェード側に突出したビードである、ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載されたヘッドランプ。
- 前記シェードは、前記シェードの姿勢を切り替えることにより、1個の前記光源で、所定のすれ違い用の配光パターンと、所定の走行用の配光パターンとが、それぞれ切り替わって得られる2灯式のヘッドランプにおける可動シェードである、ことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載されたヘッドランプ。
- 前記前方側シェードの導光反射面、前記後方側シェードの出力反射面のうち少なくともいずれか一方には、前記シェード内を通過する光の光量を減少させる光量減少手段が設けられている、ことを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載されたヘッドランプ。
- 前記後方側シェードには、前記シェード内を通過した光の照射方向をオーバーヘッドサイン側の方向に規制する照射方向規制手段が設けられている、ことを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載されたヘッドランプ。
