本発明は、車両のシートトラックスライド装置において、ロアレールに対するアッパレールの移動を阻止するロック状態と許容するロック解除状態とを取り得るロックレバーを備えたロック機構に関するものである。

下記特許文献1では、同特許文献1の図面(特に図1及び図5,6参照)に示すように、ロックプレート5がアッパレール1に対しピン6により回動可能に支持されている。ロックプレート5の回動中心線の位置がロックプレート5の係合穴53とロアレール2の歯部24との間の噛合位置の上方でこの噛合位置に近いほど、車両の衝突時にロックプレート5の係合穴53がロアレール2の歯部24から離脱しにくくなり、噛合状態を維持し易い。そこで、この噛合位置に対しこのピン6をできる限り近接させるために、このピン6の頭部61の一部がロアレ−ル2の上方からその内側に入り込んでいる。

図1(a)で概略的に示すように、シートトラック1として、車体のフロア2には図2に示す左右方向Y(車両の前進側と後退側とを結ぶ水平な前後方向Xに対し直交する水平方向)の両側でロアレール3が固定され、左右両側のアッパレール5がシート4に固定されて左右両ロアレール3に支持されている。

図1(b)及び図2に示すように、前記ロアレール3内にはスライド溝6が前後方向Xに沿って形成されている。このロアレール3上でスライド溝6には上下方向Z(水平な前後方向Xに対し直交する鉛直方向)へ開放された開口6aが形成されている。このロアレール3において開口6aを挟む左右両側には下方へ折曲された端縁部3aが相対向して形成されている。この左右両端縁部3aには前後方向Xに沿って並設された複数のロック爪7(ロック部)間で複数のロック凹部8(ロック部)が形成されている。この各ロック凹部8は、左右方向Yへ開放されているとともに、図3に示すように、下側の係脱口9により下方へ開放され、この係脱口9に対向する上面10と、前後方向Xで相対向する前係止面11及び後係止面12とを有している。この後係止面12は上下方向Z(鉛直方向)へ延設されているが、この前係止面11は係脱口9を広げるように上面10から係脱口9に向うに従い前方へ傾斜している。

前記アッパレール5の取付壁部14にはロックレバー16が支持機構部Mの前後両滑り対偶17により回動可能に支持されている。この前後両滑り対偶17においては、ロックレバー16の前後両側に形成された円弧状長孔18,19(凹状部)にピン20,21(凸状部)が挿通され、このピン20,21がアッパレール5の取付壁部14に挿着されている。このロックレバー16の後端部には複数のロック爪22(ロック部)が左右方向Yへ突設されている。この円弧状長孔18,19に沿ってピン20,21が相対移動してロックレバー16がアッパレール5に対し上下方向Zへ回動し、そのロック爪22がアッパレール5の各移動位置でロアレール3の各ロック凹部8に対し係脱される。このロックレバー16の回動中心線17aは、両滑り対偶17の円弧状相対移動軌跡が有する共通の仮想中心線であり、例えばアッパレール5の案内支持部13上に支持された支点部16aにあるが、必ずしもこの支点部16aに設ける必要はない。このロックレバー16の後端部とアッパレール5との間には引張コイルばね24が連結されている。この引張コイルばね24の弾性力によりロックレバー16が付勢されてロック向きZUへ回動し、そのロック爪22がアッパレール5の各移動位置でロアレール3の各ロック凹部8に対し係入されてロック状態Rとなる。そのロック状態Rでは、ロック爪22が前後両係止部22a,22bで前後両係止面11,12に係止されるため、ロアレール3に対するアッパレール5の移動が阻止される。このロックレバー16の前端部にはハンドル23が取着されている。このハンドル23を操作してロックレバー16を引張コイルばね24の弾性力に抗してロック解除向きZDへ回動させると、そのロック爪22がアッパレール5の各移動位置でロアレール3の各ロック凹部8から離脱されてロック解除状態Qとなる。そのロック解除状態Qではロアレール3に対するアッパレール5の移動が許容される。
