Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a rotor angle detection device that detects a rotor angle of a salient pole type DC brushless motor.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In order to obtain a desired torque by driving a DC brushless motor, it is necessary to apply a voltage to the armature at an appropriate phase corresponding to the electrical angle of the rotor having the magnetic pole (hereinafter referred to as the rotor angle). Various methods for detecting the rotor angle without using the position detection sensor have been proposed in order to reduce the cost of the DC brushless motor and the driving device by omitting the position detection sensor for detecting the rotor angle.
[0003]
In the previous application (Japanese Patent Application No. 2001-288303), the present inventors have also proposed a rotor angle detection device that detects a rotor angle without using a position detection sensor. In such a rotor angle detection device, when a high frequency voltage is superimposed on a drive voltage applied to a three-phase armature of a salient pole type DC brushless motor, a current flowing in the first phase of the three-phase electronic machine And the detected value of the current flowing in the second phase and the high frequency component corresponding to the high frequency voltage, the sine reference value corresponding to the sine value of the double angle of the rotor angle of the motor and the double angle A cosine reference value corresponding to the cosine value is calculated.
[0004]
A first position representing a phase difference (θ−θ ^) between the estimated value (θ ^) of the rotor angle of the DC brushless motor and the actual value (θ) using the sine reference value and the cosine reference value. Phase difference data is calculated, and the phase difference (θ−θ ^) represented by the second phase difference data obtained by adding a certain offset value to the phase difference (θ−θ ^) represented by the first phase difference data is calculated. By calculating the rotor angle using an observer configured to be eliminated, the detection error of the rotor angle is reduced and the detection accuracy of the rotor angle is increased.
[0005]
However, when the inventors determined the phase of the drive voltage to be applied to the armature of the motor based on the rotor angle of the motor calculated using the above-described observer, It has been found that the responsiveness of the control system of the drive voltage with respect to changes in the rotor angle is deteriorated, and the motor step-out may occur due to the phase delay of the rotating magnetic field generated by the drive voltage.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The present invention has been made in view of the above background, and a rotor angle that suppresses deterioration in control responsiveness that occurs when controlling the operation of a DC brushless motor based on a rotor angle detected without using a position detection sensor. An object is to provide a detection device.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention has been made to achieve the above object, and includes a voltage applying means for applying a driving voltage to a three-phase armature of a salient pole type DC brushless motor, and a high frequency for superimposing a high frequency voltage on the driving voltage. Superimposing means, first current detecting means for detecting a current flowing through a first phase armature of the three-phase armatures, and a current flowing through a second phase armature of the three-phase armatures A second current detection means for detecting the first current value detected by the first current detection means and the second current detection means when the high frequency voltage is superimposed on the drive voltage by the high frequency superimposition means. Using the detected second current value and a high frequency component corresponding to the high frequency voltage, a sine reference value corresponding to a double sine value of the rotor angle of the motor and a cosine corresponding to the double cosine value Reference value extractor that extracts reference values And a first phase difference representing a phase difference (θ−θ ^) between an estimated value (θ ^) of the rotor angle of the motor and an actual value (θ) using the sine reference value and the cosine reference value. The rotor angle is calculated by the observer configured to eliminate the phase difference (θ−θ ^) represented by the second phase difference data obtained by calculating data and adding a predetermined offset value to the first phase difference data. The present invention relates to an improvement of a rotor angle detection device for a DC brushless motor, which includes a rotor angle calculation means for calculating the angle.
[0008]
And a rotation speed detection means for detecting the rotation speed of the motor, wherein the rotor angle calculation means determines the offset value according to the rotation speed of the motor detected by the rotation speed detection means. Features.
[0009]
In this invention, when the rotational speed of the motor suddenly increases or decreases, the calculation of the rotor angle by the rotor angle calculation means cannot follow the change in the rotor angle of the motor, resulting in a detection delay of the rotor angle. In this case, the detection error of the rotor angle with respect to the actual rotor angle of the motor becomes large.
[0010]
Although the details will be described later, the smaller the offset value, the larger the amount of change in the phase difference (θ−θ ^) represented by the second phase difference data with respect to the amount of change in the rotor angle of the motor. Become.
[0011]
Therefore, when there is a delay in detecting the rotor angle of the motor by the rotor angle detecting means, as in the case where the rotational speed of the motor suddenly increases, the rotor angle calculating means reduces the offset value. By increasing the change amount of the phase difference (θ−θ ^) relative to the change amount of the rotor angle of the motor, the influence of the detection delay of the rotor angle on the change of the rotor angle of the motor is reduced, and the detection of the rotor angle is performed. The error can be reduced.
[0012]
When the drive voltage applied to the armature of the motor is determined by the voltage applying unit based on the rotor angle calculated by the rotor angle calculating unit by reducing the detection error of the rotor angle in this way. Furthermore, since the phase shift between the rotating magnetic field generated by the drive voltage and the rotor angle of the motor is reduced, the deterioration of the control response to the change in the rotor angle of the motor is suppressed, and the output torque of the motor is reduced. And step-out can be prevented.
[0013]
Further, since it is necessary to generate a relatively high torque in the motor at the start of rotation of the motor, the rotor angle of the motor is accurately detected and the phase of the drive voltage applied to the armature of the motor is determined. There is a need to. On the other hand, as the rotational speed of the motor increases, the influence of the rotor angle detection delay by the rotor angle calculation means increases.
[0014]
Therefore, the present invention is characterized in that the rotor angle calculation means decreases the offset value as the rotation speed of the motor increases after the rotation of the motor starts.
[0015]
According to the present invention, the rotor angle detecting means reduces the offset value as the number of rotations of the motor increases after starting the rotation of the motor, thereby adding the offset value at the start of rotation. Thus, the detection error of the rotor angle is reduced, the torque is surely generated in the motor, the start time of the motor is shortened, and the detection delay of the rotor angle of the motor due to the increase in the rotation speed of the motor is suppressed. be able to.
[0016]
Further, the reference value extracting means extracts the sine reference value and the cosine reference value by the following expressions (5) and (6), and the rotor angle calculating means is the following expression (1) as the first phase difference data: The characteristic feature is that Δθ 1 calculated by 7) is used, and Δθ 2 calculated by the following equation (8) is used as the second phase difference data.

[0021]
According to the present invention, as will be described in detail later, the sine reference value (Vs) and the cosine reference value (Vc) calculated by the reference value calculation means according to the equations (5) and (6) are used. Using the above equations (7) and (8), the first phase difference data (Δθ 1 ) and the second phase difference data (Δθ 2 ) necessary for the configuration of the observer can be calculated. .

By calculating, it is possible to suppress the gain variation accompanying the variation of the magnitude (√ (Vs 2 + Vc 2 )) of the high frequency component, and to improve the stability of the rotor angle calculation.

Here, a rotor angle is detected by an observer configured using the phase difference data Δθ 1 calculated by the above formula (20) or formula (22), and a drive voltage (VU, V) applied to the motor 1 based on the rotor angle is detected. When VV, VW) is controlled, the bottom value of the output torque of the motor 1 may decrease and the pulsation of the output torque may increase.
[0049]
The cause of the pulsation of the output torque in this way is the actual value of the phase difference between the estimated value θ ^ of the rotor angle and the actual value θ (hereinafter referred to as the actual phase difference) and the above formula (20) or the above formula. It is considered that the estimated value of the phase difference calculated by (22) (hereinafter referred to as a phase difference estimated value) is deviated.
[0050]
FIG. 3A is a graph showing how the actual phase difference deviates from the estimated phase difference, where the vertical axis is set to the estimated phase difference and the horizontal axis is set to the actual phase difference. If the correlation graph between the actual phase difference and the estimated phase difference is the ideal curve indicated by X in the figure, the actual phase difference becomes zero by setting the estimated phase difference to zero, so the rotor angle detection error is Does not occur.
[0051]
However, in practice, the correlation graph between the actual phase difference and the estimated phase difference is in the form indicated by Y in the figure. In this case, even if the estimated phase difference is converged to zero, an error of E 1 occurs. . The detected value of the rotor angle deviates from the actual rotor angle due to this error, and this is considered to cause the pulsation of the output torque of the motor 1 described above.
[0052]
Therefore, as shown in the following equation (23), the phase difference data Δθ 2 obtained by adding the offset value to the phase difference data Δθ 1 calculated by the above equation (20) (corresponding to the second phase difference data of the present invention). ) To detect the rotor angle and forcibly shift the detected value of the rotor angle, the rotor angle detection error can be reduced.
[0053]
[Expression 23]
In FIG. 3A, ofb is added as an offset value. In this case, the error when the estimated phase difference is converged to zero is reduced from E 1 to E 2 .
[0054]
As described above, by configuring the observer using the phase difference data Δθ 2 to which the offset value is added, it is possible to increase the detection accuracy of the rotor angle of the motor 1. However, another factor that affects the fluctuation of the output torque of the motor 1 is a problem of detection delay of the rotor angle caused by the time required to calculate the rotor angle.

That is, when the

FIG. 3B illustrates the effect when the offset value is changed. The vertical axis is the estimated phase difference and the horizontal axis is the actual phase difference. As illustrated, when the offset value is set to ofm, the estimated phase difference with respect to the actual phase difference d 0 is d 1 . When the offset value is set to ofp which is smaller than ofm, the estimated phase difference with respect to the actual phase difference d 0 increases from d 1 to d 2 .
[0059]
Thus, by setting the offset value to be small, it is possible to increase the amount of change in the phase difference data Δθ 2 according to the above equation (23) with respect to the amount of change in the actual rotor angle of the motor 1. That is, changing the offset value has an effect of amplifying the change amount of the phase difference data Δθ 2 with respect to the actual change amount of the rotor angle of the motor 1.

Therefore, the
