Description

In the present invention, an object to be inspected is conveyed by a belt conveyance unit in a housing provided with an X-ray irradiation means, and X-rays transmitted through the object to be inspected are detected by an X-ray detection means under the belt. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to an X-ray foreign object detection device that detects the presence or absence of foreign substances in the body. The present invention relates to a devised X-ray foreign object detection device.

The following patent document shows the external shape of a conventional X-ray foreign object detection device. The casing of the detection device has a substantially convex shape when viewed from the front, and the protruding portions protruding on both sides thereof are trapezoidal shapes inclined toward the left and right entrances. In addition, the belt conveyance portion disposed therein is guided in a trapezoidal belt loop shape so that the central portion is at the highest position. An X-ray source is arranged at the upper center of the casing, and an X-ray detection means is arranged at the lower part of the highest position of the belt. When the inspection object passes through the highest position of the belt, the X-ray is detected. It will be irradiated towards.

The reason for this shape is that reflected X-rays generated when X-rays are applied to the object to be inspected in the housing have many components that normally reflect at an acute angle after hitting the object to be inspected, and are reflected at right angles or obtuse angles. Since the height of the left and right entrances is sufficiently low with respect to the irradiation position, it is difficult for reflected X-rays to exit from the entrance of the housing, thereby preventing exposure due to X-ray leakage. Because.
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 11-194104

However, with the inclined shape as described above, dust accumulated on the housing flows down to the left and right entrances and adheres to the subject at the end of the next belt for delivery of the subject placed near the entrance. There is a risk.

This type of inspection device is used to inspect whether or not foreign matter is mixed inside after processing and separating processed meat products such as minced meat, hamburger and other so-called paste products for each food unit. In this case, since the object to be inspected needs to be inspected at the stage before packaging, the belt is conveyed in a state of being peeled off, so that the adhesion of dust in the inspection process causes a great inconvenience.

Of course, in a food processing factory where this type of inspection equipment is installed, it goes without saying that the factory cleanliness is maintained and that dust is frequently removed by regular cleaning. When it falls on the housing, it flows onto the belt near the entrance / exit of the housing from the inclined surface due to its structure, so that there is a problem that it easily adheres to the object to be inspected.

The present invention solves the above-described problems, and an object of the present invention is to X-ray that can structurally prevent foreign matters such as dust falling and deposited on the casing from falling on the end portion of the belt conveyance unit. A foreign object detection device is provided.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention includes a housing 1, an X-ray irradiation means 8 provided in the housing 1, and a belt that is housed in the housing 1 and transports an object to be inspected in a predetermined transport direction. A transport unit 3, an X-ray detection means 9 that is disposed below the belt transport unit 3 in the housing 1 and detects X-rays that have passed through the object to be inspected, and extends from the housing 1 in the transport direction. A protruding portion 7 that covers the belt conveying portion 3 and has an opening, and a direction that is formed on at least a part of the protruding portion 7 and that has fallen on the housing 1 intersects the conveying direction. In the X-ray foreign object detection device for detecting the presence or absence of foreign matter in the object to be inspected, the guide surface is horizontal in the transport direction and intersects the transport direction It intersects with the transport direction with one ridge as a boundary. Inclined portion 7a which is inclined in two directions which are characterized by having a 7b.

According to the invention of claim 2 of the present invention, the housing 1, the X-ray irradiation means 8 provided in the housing 1, and the object to be inspected contained in the housing 1 are transported in a predetermined transport direction. A belt conveyance unit 3; an X-ray detection means 9 that is disposed below the belt conveyance unit 3 in the housing 1 and detects X-rays that have passed through the object to be inspected; An extended portion 7 that extends and covers the belt conveying portion 3 and has an opening, and a foreign matter A that is formed on at least a part of the extended portion 7 and falls on the housing 1 intersects the conveying direction. In an X-ray foreign object detection device that includes a guide surface that guides in a direction and detects the presence or absence of a foreign material in the object to be inspected, the guide surface is inclined in the transport direction and intersects the transport direction. Parallel inner parts 20a, 30a and in the conveying direction And has a portion 20b, 30b in the vicinity of the opening portion which is horizontal and intersects with the conveying direction, and is guided to the vicinity of the opening portion at the ends of the portions 20b, 30b in the vicinity of the opening portion. It is characterized in that damming bodies 20c, 30c are provided to dampen the foreign matter A that has come.

The invention according to claim 3 of the present invention is the case 1, the X-ray irradiation means 8 provided in the case 1, and the case 1 accommodated in the case 1 for transferring the object to be inspected in a predetermined transfer direction. A belt conveyance unit 3; an X-ray detection means 9 that is disposed below the belt conveyance unit 3 in the housing 1 and detects X-rays that have passed through the object to be inspected; An X-ray foreign matter detection device that includes an overhanging portion 7 that extends and covers the belt conveyance portion 3 and that has an opening, and detects the presence or absence of foreign matters in the object to be inspected. In the direction intersecting with the conveying direction and having a horizontal inward portion 40a, a damming body 40c for blocking foreign matter A guided in the vicinity of the opening is provided at an end near the opening. It is provided.

Therefore, in the present invention, the foreign matter A dropped and deposited on the housing is guided to a place other than the belt conveyance unit 3, and therefore does not fall on the end of the belt 3a due to its structure, and this contacts the object to be inspected. There is no sticking or sticking. The “foreign matter” as defined in the present invention refers to all fallen objects that are dropped onto the casing, such as water droplets such as dust and condensed water.

Further, in the present invention, the foreign matter A flows down the inclined surfaces 7a and 7b in the direction intersecting the conveying direction and falls to the lower part, and is prevented from dropping onto the belt conveying unit. That is, when a foreign matter A such as dust or water drops falls or accumulates immediately above the overhanging portion 7, the foreign matter A moves forward or backward along the inclined surface of the inclined portions 7a and 7b as a boundary. It is discharged down and does not fall directly on the belt conveyance surface, thereby preventing the foreign matter A from adhering to the inspection object conveyed on the belt 3a.

In the second aspect of the invention, the foreign matter flows down the inner portions 20a and 30a in the transport direction, falls to the portions 20b and 30b near the rear end, and turns from here to the direction crossing the transport direction. Flow down. The momentum of the flow due to the flow in the conveying direction is blocked by the dams 20c and 30c, and flows down while accumulating in the intersecting direction. The portions 20b and 30b in the vicinity of the end portions function as discharge ridges.

According to the third aspect of the present invention, the foreign matter A flows in the inward portion 40a along the transport direction, and then accumulates on the portion 40b in the vicinity of the end portion. The flow in the conveying direction is blocked by the damming body 40c. In this case, the foreign matter A accumulated in the end vicinity 40b is removed by artificially sweeping in the direction intersecting the transport direction.

The best mode for carrying out the present invention will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. 1 and 2 show a first embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 1 is a front view and a side view of an X-ray foreign object detection device, and FIG. 2 is a perspective view thereof.

In each figure, the X-ray detection apparatus includes a housing 1 and a belt conveyance unit 3 that is detachably mounted inside the housing 1 and that can be moved by a plurality of casters 2. The housing 1 includes a gantry 5 installed on the floor surface 4 via installation legs 5a, and a main body case 6 standing on the rear of the gantry 5, and includes a lower part on the front side of the main body case 6, and the gantry 5 The belt conveying unit 3 is inserted with a gap therebetween, and the belt conveying unit 3 is positioned on the gantry 5.

The main body case 6 has a substantially convex shape in front view with protruding portions 7 projecting from the left and right of the front part, and an X-ray irradiation means 8 is incorporated in the upper part inside the center as indicated by a broken line in the figure. An X-ray detector 9, which is also shown by a broken line and is located on the lower surface of the belt 3 a that projects inwardly from the belt conveyance unit 3 and is suspended endlessly at the lower center portion, is opposed to the irradiation means 8. Yes.

The left and right overhang portions 7 substantially cover the upper portion of the belt conveying portion 3 along its longitudinal direction and shield X-rays. Openings are formed on the left and right side surfaces, and the opening portions. Is covered with an X-ray shielding rubber sheet 10 in which a large number of strip cuts are formed, and both end portions of the belt 3a on the left and right in the longitudinal direction of the belt conveying portion 3 slightly protrude in contact with the lower end of the rubber sheet 10. It is arranged in the state. Further, although not shown in the drawing, a plurality of X-ray shielding rubber sheets 10 are also suspended inside the left and right projecting portions 7 (on the belt conveying portion 3) to prevent X-ray leakage. Note that the rubber sheet is unnecessary if the left and right protruding portions 7 are long in the longitudinal direction so that the irradiated X-rays attenuate and leakage from the opening does not become a problem.

A belt conveyor for relay (not shown) is in contact with both ends of the belt conveyance unit 3, and an object to be inspected is conveyed on the upper part of the conveyor and sequentially supplied into the housing 1. Then, as shown by the arrow in FIG. 2, the object to be inspected carried into the housing 1 by pushing the rubber sheet 10 through one opening of the overhanging portion 7 is irradiated with X-rays when passing through the center position. After the presence / absence of foreign matter is determined, the rubber sheet 10 is pushed away from the other opening of the overhanging portion 7 and is carried out of the housing 1 as indicated by the arrow.

The roof surface of the overhanging portion 7 is parallel to the conveyance direction, and is inclined portions 7a and 7b that are inclined in the front-rear direction, that is, the side intersecting the belt conveyance direction at a ratio of approximately 7: 3. In addition, a dam member 7c that is one step higher than the inclined portions 7a and 7b protrudes along its end, that is, immediately above the opening.

As described above, when the foreign matter A such as dust or water drops falls or accumulates directly on the overhanging portion 7 as shown in the side view of FIG. 1, the foreign matter A follows the ridge lines of the inclined portions 7a and 7b. As a boundary, it flows down to the front or rear side along the inclined surface and does not fall directly on the belt conveyance surface, thereby preventing the foreign matter A from adhering to the inspection object conveyed on the belt 3a. It will be possible.

3 and 4 show a second embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 3 is a front view and a side view of the X-ray foreign object detection device, and FIG. 4 is a perspective view thereof. In addition, since the basic part of this embodiment is the same as that of the said 1st Embodiment, it attaches | subjects the same code | symbol to a common part, abbreviate | omits the description, It demonstrates using a different code | symbol only about a different part.

In the figure, the roof surfaces of the left and right overhanging portions 20 are inclined in the transport direction, and in the direction intersecting the transport direction, the horizontal inner portion 20a, and the direction horizontal to the transport direction and intersecting the transport direction. And a clogging body 20c that clogs the foreign matter A guided from the end portion vicinity portion 20b immediately above the end portion of the overhang portion 20, that is, the opening portion. Except for being provided, the second embodiment is the same as the first embodiment.

Therefore, in this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 3, when the foreign matter A drops and accumulates immediately above the inner portion 20a, it first flows down to the belt conveyance side along the inclined surface of the inner portion 20a, and then ends. The direction is changed in the vicinity portion 20b, and the flow is discharged in a direction crossing the belt conveying surface along the inclination. That is, in the present embodiment, the end vicinity portion 20b functions as a ridge, and the foreign matter A is discharged while being accumulated therein.

5 and 6 show a third embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 5 is a front view and a side view of the X-ray foreign object detection device, and FIG. 6 is a perspective view thereof. In addition, since the basic part of this embodiment is the same as that of the said 1st, 2nd embodiment, it attaches | subjects the same code | symbol to a common part, abbreviate | omits the description, It demonstrates using a different code | symbol only about a different part. .

In the figure, the roof surface of the left and right overhang portions 30 is
Inclined in the belt conveying direction, the inner part 30a is horizontal in the direction intersecting with the conveying direction, and the end is inclined in the horizontal direction with respect to the conveying direction and from the rear toward the front in the direction intersecting with the conveying direction. Except that a clogging body 30c is provided at the end portion of the overhang portion 30, that is, directly above the opening, to block the foreign matter A guided from the end portion vicinity portion 30b. This is the same as in the first and second embodiments.

Therefore, in this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 5, when the foreign matter A falls or accumulates on the roof surface, the slant line segment that flows along the transport direction in the inner portion 30a and is shared by the end vicinity portion 30b. While being accumulated at the position of 30d, it is discharged from the end vicinity portion 30b through this portion in a direction crossing the conveying direction. In the present embodiment, the inclined line segment 30b functions as a discharge ridge, and the foreign matter A continuously flows down toward this portion, so that rebound does not occur and smooth discharge is possible.

7 and 8 show a fourth embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 7 is a front view and a side view of the X-ray foreign object detection device, and FIG. 8 is a perspective view thereof. In addition, since the basic part of this embodiment is the same as that of the said 1st thru | or 3rd embodiment, it attaches | subjects the same code | symbol to a common part, abbreviate | omits the description, It demonstrates using a different code | symbol only about a different part. .
