【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a composition for oral cavity having an effect of inhibiting the formation of a stain, which is formulated with an amino acid surfactant.

Stain is a pigmentation on teeth that is thought to be caused by fungicides such as chlorhexidine, tannin-based substances contained in tea, and metals such as iron, and is a major aesthetic problem. As means for solving this, a method of removing stain and a method of inhibiting the formation of stain are considered. In order to remove the stain, generally, an abrasive or a bleaching agent is used. However, these have problems that the tooth is damaged and irritation is strong.
[0003]
Further, as for inhibiting the formation of stain, JP-A-1-125315 discloses that polystyrene sulfonic acid inhibits tannin-based stain, and JP-A-2-56413 discloses the progress of non-enzymatic browning reaction. Although the method of inhibiting stain formation is shown, these are considered only for specific stain substances and do not have an effect on all stains. The indicated fluoroalkyl phosphate ester forms a film on the surface of the tooth to improve the acid resistance of the tooth and inhibit plaque formation as well as stain formation. However, the stain formation inhibitory effect is not fully satisfactory, and improvement is desired.
[0004]
On the other hand, amino acid-based surfactants have been used as components of oral compositions, and the effects of improving the feeling of use are disclosed in JP-A-56-97215 and JP-A-3-200714. It is shown. Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 56-123910 discloses retention of dextranase activity, and Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2-233607 discloses retention of fluorine activity when used in combination with aluminum hydroxide.
However, it is not known to use these amino acid surfactants for the purpose of stain suppression.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
An object of the present invention is to provide an oral composition containing an amino acid surfactant that is excellent in safety and effectively inhibits the formation of stains by various stain-causing substances without damaging teeth. .
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In view of such a current situation, the present inventors have conducted extensive research on stain formation inhibitors having an effect on various stain-causing substances and having excellent safety. As a result, amino acid surfactants As a result, the present inventors have found an excellent effect and completed the present invention.

[0023]
[Table 1]
[0024]
Evaluation method (stain inhibition effect)
1. Stain inhibition rate 1cm diameter hydroxyapatite disc, human whole saliva, 0.2% chlorhexidine gluconate aqueous solution, test component 0.5% aqueous solution, 0.3% iron (III) ammonium citrate aqueous solution, black tea in order Is repeated 10 times, and the color difference from the pre-experiment disk is measured (denoted as ΔE). The stain difference was calculated from the following equation using the color difference ( denoted as ΔE 0 ) when distilled water was used instead of the aqueous solution of the test component as a control. A color difference meter CR-241 (manufactured by Minolta) was used for measuring the color difference.
Stain inhibition rate (%) = (ΔE 0 −ΔE) ÷ ΔE 0 × 100
The larger the stain inhibition rate, the higher the effect, and 50% or more was effective.
[0025]
