これまで、種々の有害節足動物駆除剤が使用されているが、使用場面によっては必ずしも充分な効果を発揮するとは言い難い。

本発明は、優れた効力を有する有害節足動物駆除組成物を提供することにある。
【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明者は、有害節足動物駆除組成物について鋭意検討を重ねた結果、ビフェントリンとプラレトリンとを併用することにより、顕著な相乗性を発揮し、よって、より低薬量の施用によって種々の有害節足動物に対しすぐれた駆除効果を発揮し得ることを見出し、本発明に至った。
即ち本発明は、ビフェントリンとプラレトリンを有効成分として含有する有害節足動物駆除組成物(以下、本発明組成物と記す。)に関するものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明組成物において、用いられるプラレトリンは、カ等を対象とする家庭防疫用の殺虫剤の有効成分として使用されており、また、ビフェントリンは、農業用殺虫剤の有効成分として、鱗翅目害虫、半翅目害虫、アザミウマ目害虫、鞘翅目害虫、ダニ目害虫等に対し防除活性が知られているものである。

本発明組成物において、プラレトリンとビフェントリンとの混合割合は、通常、重量比で100:1〜1:100、好ましくは10:1〜1:10の範囲である。
本発明組成物は、プラレトリンとビフェントリンのみからなるものであってもよいが、実用的には通常、固体担体、液体担体、製剤補助剤等を適宜含有する製剤化された形態のものである。製剤形態としては、乳剤、油剤、懸濁剤等の液剤、粉剤、水和剤、粒剤、ペースト状製剤、マイクロカプセル化製剤、泡沫剤、エアゾール製剤、炭酸ガス製剤、シート製剤などが挙げられる。また、プラレトリン及びビフェントリンの含有量はその製剤形態によって変わりうるが、合計量で通常、0.005〜50重量%である。

尚、本発明組成物は、プラレトリン及びビフェントリン以外の活性成分やPBO、S421、MGK264、IBTA、サイネピリン500等の共力剤等を含有してもよい。

本発明組成物は、通常、有害節足動物の生息場所、土壌等に施用することにより用いられるが、接着剤に混ぜて合板や木質ボード類の製造に用いたり、被覆電線や合成樹脂シート等に混入させることにより防虫処理された各種製品の製造に供することができる。その施用量は、本発明組成物を家庭防疫用に用いる場合、例えば屋内のハエやカを防除するに際しては、有効成分(プラレトリン及びビフェントリンの合計)量で0.001〜1mg/m3程度を施用する。また、ゴキブリ、アリ等を防除するに際しては、有効成分量で0.001〜0.1mg/m2程度を施用する。
木材害虫を防除する場合、本発明組成物を当該害虫に直接施用してもよいが、通常は本発明組成物を害虫の生息場所である木材、土壌等に施用する。また、本発明組成物を接着剤に混ぜて合板や木質ボード類の製造に用いたり、電線の被覆剤や合成樹脂シート等に混入させることにより防虫処理された各種製品の製造に供することができる。その施用量は、対象となる害虫の種類、製剤形態、施用場所、施用方法等により異なるが、一般に有効成分(プラレトリン及びビフェントリンの合計)量で 0.1〜10000mg/m2程度である。
さらに、本発明組成物を農業用に用いる場合、有効成分量で 0.01〜100g/ha程度を有害節足動物に直接または植物や土壌等に施用する。その際、乳剤、懸濁剤、水和剤等は通常1〜1000ppm程度に水で希釈して施用する。

プラレトリン0.5重量部、ビフェントリン0.1重量部、ニッコールSL−10(日光ケミカルズ)10重量部、IPソルベント2028(出光石油化学)で100重量部とした原液を調整する。この原液10gを180ml容のエアゾール用ブリキ缶に入れ、さらに精製水50gを入れる。バルブを缶にクリンプし密封する。バルブのステムを通じて液化石油ガス40gを充填し内容物100gのエアゾールを得る。
製剤例8
プラレトリン5重量部、ビフェントリン10重量部をハイゾールSAS296(日本石油化学)5重量部と混合する。この溶液全量をトクシールGU−N(塩野義製薬)20重量部とラジオライト20重量部からなる混合粉体に吸油せしめミキサーで混合する。ソルポール5060(東邦化学)4重量部及びデモールSNB 3重量部加えさらにミキサーで攪拌する。クレー20重量部、ラジオライトで全体を100重量部としてミキサーで混合し水和剤を得る。
製剤例9
プラレトリン0.1重量部、ビフェントリン0.4重量部、ソフトアルキルベンゼンAB−SG(三菱化学)20重量部、日石フォグソルベント(日本石油)で100重量部とし油剤を得る。
製剤例10
プラレトリン5重量部、ビフェントリン0.5重量部をゴーセノールGL−05(日本合成化学工業)の10重量%水溶液40重量部中に加え、ホモミクサーにて攪拌する。ロードポール23(ローヌプーラン社)の1重量%水溶液10重量部、水40重量部を加えて数分間緩やかに攪拌しながら混合すると、水中油型懸濁製剤100重量部を得る。

所定の処理量になるように濃度調整した下記薬剤のアセトン希釈液をピレスロイド薬剤抵抗性イエバエの胸部背板に0.5μl処理し、1日後の苦死虫率を調査した。3反復の試験結果の平均値を表1に示す。

試験例2
内径1.7cm、長さ15cmのガラスチューブ内中央部に土壌を3cm詰め、土壌の片側表面に表2記載の薬液を処理した。次いで、土壌の両側を4%寒天で挟み、薬液処理していない側のガラスチューブ内空間にイエシロアリ職蟻50頭と兵蟻5頭を放し、1週間後にシロアリの土壌貫通状況を観察した。試験は3反復行った。表中の結果欄で、Aはシロアリが土壌の薬液処理面を貫通して反対側の寒天層をも貫通したことを表し、Bはシロアリが土壌の薬液処理面を貫通しさらに寒天層の途中まで穿孔したことを表し、Cはシロアリが土壌の薬液処理面を完全に貫通することができず寒天への穿孔が見られなかったことを表す。
