本発明は、道路舗装面に設置されたマンホールの蓋高さ調整等を行うに際してマンホール蓋周辺の道路舗装層を切断するのに適した道路舗装層の切断工法に関する。

【従来の技術】
道路工事等に起因して道路舗装面に設置されたマンホール蓋が、路面に対して段差が生じることからマンホール蓋の蓋高さ調整工事が頻繁に行われている。
このマンホール蓋高さ調整工事にあたっては、マンホール蓋周囲の道路舗装層を切断し、切断した舗装層を除去して、可動可能になったマンホール蓋枠を所定の蓋高さ調整手段により上下動調整した後、その高さ調整したマンホール蓋枠の周辺を、再舗装するように復旧作業を行う。

ここで、マンホール蓋周囲の舗装層を切断する際に、通常、円盤形カッターを用いてマンホール蓋周囲の道路舗装層を、図7に示すように、a点からb点に、b点からc点に、c点からd点に、d点から最初のa点へと四角形状に直線状に切断する。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、上述のような余切りが発生すると、マンホール蓋の高さ調整工事を行った後に、仮の復旧作業を行う。そして蓋枠周辺の舗装を後日復旧処理する際に、余切りの部分が既舗装部分に対して強度的悪影響とならないように、余切りの部分を含む拡大した範囲(図7に一点鎖線で示す範囲)の舗装を切り崩し、破砕した舗装材を除去してから路床を転圧し再舗装する等の復旧作業を行なう場合に、上述の拡大範囲の全体を広範囲に復旧処理することが道路管理上、定められており、このために復旧の資材を多く要し、また復旧の施工時間も長く要してコスト高となる等の不都合があった。

また従来、上述の余切りが発生しない施工例として特公昭61−25844号公報に記載のように道路舗装面を、円形状に切断する工法が提案されているが、この従来例の場合、舗装路面を円形状に切断するための特別なカッターや、特殊な円形切断機構を有する設備機材が必要となり、その実施には設備費が嵩む上に施工にも特殊技術が必要となる等の問題点があった。

加えて、道路舗装面に設置されるマンホールには、ガス管用,下水管用,通信ケーブル管用と様々なものがあり、またそれらのマンホール蓋の形状,大きさにも様々なものある。
そして仮に、横:1140mm,縦:940mmの長方形マンホール蓋の蓋高さ調整工事を行う場合、内径1700mm以上の円形カッターを必要とし、この場合に、この円形カッターの製造費用が高額になる他、機材の搬入,搬出の手間がかさむ問題点が派生する。
また、マンホール蓋の形状,大きさに合わせた円形カッターをそれぞれ用意しなくてはならないため、工事費用が高額になってしまう問題点も派生する。

本発明の目的は、これらの問題点を解決するために案出されたもので、どのようなマンホール蓋の大きさ,形状にも対応できる道路舗装層の切断工法を提供することを目的とする。

図1に示すものは路面上に配置されているマンホール蓋1の平面図である。このマンホール蓋1の蓋高さ調整を行う準備として、まずマンホール蓋1の周辺アスファルトを排除することが必要となる。
本実施例では、マンホール蓋の形状を四角形状として説明するが、本発明の工法では円形のマンホール蓋にも対応できる。

まず、第1実施例として、図2に示すように、第1工程としてマンホール蓋1の対角線上4カ所、すなわち、マンホール蓋1の四隅に円形穴2を形成する。
前記円形穴2の大きさとしては、アスファルトの厚みと同程度の直径、例えばアスファルトの厚み20cmの場合,直径20cmの円形穴を形成するが、その他直径15〜30cm程度の大きさの円形穴2でもよい。
