しかし、上述のような従来の照明装置においては、カバーの両端部またはいずれか一方の端部に、長手方向を向くスリット状の切欠きや長孔を設け、それらを挿通する止めねじにより、カバーをカバー取付枠にねじ止めするか、または1対のカバー取付枠の対向面に、カバーの端部が嵌合するようにした溝または凹部を設け、少なくともいずれか一方のカバー取付枠を本体にねじ止めし、その一方のカバー取付枠を本体から外すことにより、カバーを着脱し得るようにしたものが一般的であり、いずれの場合も、止めねじの締付け作業が必要であるので、カバーの着脱作業が煩雑で、手間がかかるという問題がある。

本発明は、従来の技術が有する上記のような問題点に鑑み、カバーを簡単に着脱することができるとともに、装着後にカバーを、がたつき等が生じることなく確実に保持することができ、しかも構造が簡単で、安価に製造できるようにした照明装置等におけるカバーの取付構造を提供することを目的としている。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明によると、上記課題は次のようにして解決される。
(1) 照明装置等における左右方向を向く本体の両側部に、互いに対向する側面に凹部を設けたカバー取付枠を設け、前記各凹部に、カバーの各端部を嵌合して支持するようにした照明装置等におけるカバーの取付構造において、前記両カバー取付枠の少なくともいずれか一方の凹部の底部上面に、側端にカバーにおける水平片の側端が当接することにより、カバーの側端のそれ以上の凹部内への進入を阻止し、かつ側端がカバーにおける水平片の側端より上方に外れるまで上昇させることにより、カバーの端部の凹部内へのさらなる進入を許容するようにしたストッパを、上下動可能として設け、さらに、前記ストッパを上昇させる押上げ手段を、カバー取付枠の下端より下方に突出するようにして、カバー取付枠に設ける。
