本発明は、テーブルタップに関するものである。

この種のテーブルタップとしては、1組の栓刃挿入口を有するプラグ差込口を複数備え、何れかのプラグ差込口にACアダプタを接続した際に、ACアダプタによって他のプラグ差込口が覆われないようにしたものが従来より提供されている(例えば特許文献1参照)。

上述したテーブルタップは、例えばマグネットなどで磁性材料からなる取付面に仮固定されるのであるが、重量の重いACアダプタを複数個接続した場合には、ACアダプタの重量によってテーブルタップが取付面から外れてしまうという問題があった。

本発明は上記問題点に鑑みて為されたものであり、その目的とするところは、ACアダプタが接続可能で、取付面に強固に取り付けることのできるテーブルタップを提供するにある。

上記目的を達成するために、請求項1の発明では、プラグの複数の栓刃がそれぞれ挿入される複数の略円弧状の栓刃挿入口を具備した複数のプラグ差込口が前面に列設された器体と、栓刃挿入口を通して器体の内部に挿入される栓刃を受ける複数の刃受ばねと、複数の刃受ばねを収納して器体の内部に納装される中ボディと、器体の背面に取着され、器体を磁性材料の取付面に固定するためのマグネットとを備え、栓刃挿入口の一方の端に挿入した栓刃が他方の端に移動するようにプラグを回動させると、栓刃に設けた透孔と係合して抜け止めを行う係合突起を刃受ばねに設け、隣接する少なくとも2つのプラグ差込口の間隔を、当該プラグ差込口に接続されるACアダプタが互いに干渉しないように、他のプラグ差込口の間隔よりも広げるとともに、器体の背面において中ボディと前後方向に重ならない部位であって、少なくとも間隔を広げたプラグ差込口に対応する背面の部位と両端部とに上記マグネットをそれぞれ配置したことを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の実施の形態を図1〜図15に基づいて説明する。本実施形態のテーブルタップは、合成樹脂製のカバー10及びボディ20からなる器体1を備え、この器体1の内部に、それぞれ栓刃を受ける4つの刃受ばね36を有する3個の端子板30a〜30cと、それぞれ栓刃を受ける2つの刃受ばね36を有する3個の端子板31a〜31cと、3つの端子板30a〜30cのうち2つの端子板30a,30bを納装する中ボディ50aと、3つの端子板31a〜31cのうち2つの端子板31a,31bを納装する中ボディ50bとを収納してある。器体1の長手方向における一端部には、カバー10とボディ20との接合部位に貫通孔2が形成されており、この貫通孔2を通して電源コード3の一端側が器体1内に導入され、端子板30a,31aと端子板30b,31bとが電源コード3を介して通電される。なお、電源コード3の他端には電圧極及び接地側極の栓刃71,71と接地極用の丸ピン72とを備えたプラグ70が接続されている。
