Claims (10)
- 送信局側又は受信局側それぞれで、光通信装置と該光通信装置に対応する光増幅器とを接続する光伝送路の障害を検出する光伝送路障害検出システムにおいて、
第1の光伝送路によって前記光増幅器と接続され、前記第1の光伝送路へ前記光増幅器を励起する励起光を送信する第1の光源と、
前記第1の光源から送信され、前記第1の光伝送路、前記光増幅器及び前記光通信装置と前記光増幅器の間を接続する第2の光伝送路を介して入射される励起光を検出する第1の光検出手段と、
前記第1の光検出手段により検出された励起光のレベルが所定レベル未満である場合に前記第1及び第2の光伝送路の何れかに障害が生じたと判定し、所定レベル以上である場合に前記第1及び第2の光伝送路が正常であると判定する第1の障害判定手段と、
を備える光伝送路障害検出システム。 - 請求項1に記載の光伝送路障害検出システムにおいて、
前記第1の障害判定手段により、前記第1及び第2の光伝送路が正常であると判定された場合に、前記光通信装置に対して信号光の送信開始を指示する第1の開始指示手段を備える光伝送路障害検出システム。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の光伝送路障害検出システムにおいて、
前記第1の障害判定手段により、前記第1及び第2の光伝送路が正常であると判定された場合に、前記第1の光源に対して励起光の送出パワーの増加を指示する第1の増加指示手段を備える光伝送路障害検出システム。 - 請求項1乃至3の何れかに記載の光伝送路障害検出システムにおいて、
前記第1の障害判定手段により、前記第1及び第2の光伝送路の何れかに障害が生じたと判定された場合に、前記光通信装置に対して信号光の送信停止を指示する第1の停止指示手段を備える光伝送路障害検出システム。 - 請求項1乃至4の何れかに記載の光伝送路障害検出システムにおいて、
前記第1の障害判定手段により、前記第1及び第2の光伝送路の何れかに障害が生じたと判定された場合に、前記第1の光源に対して励起光の送信停止を指示する第2の停止指示手段を備える光伝送路障害検出システム。 - 請求項1乃至5の何れかに記載の光伝送路障害検出システムにおいて、
第3の光伝送路によって前記光増幅器と接続され、該第3の光伝送路へ前記光増幅器を励起する励起光を送信する第2の光源と、
前記第2の光源から送信され、前記第3の光伝送路、前記光増幅器及び前記第1の光伝送路を介して入射される光を検出する第2の光検出手段と、
前記第2の光検出手段により検出された励起光のレベルが所定レベル未満である場合に前記第1及び第3の光伝送路の何れかに障害が生じたと判定し、所定レベル以上である場合に前記第1及び第3の光伝送路が正常であると判定する第2の障害判定手段と、
を備える光伝送路障害検出システム。 - 請求項6に記載の光伝送路障害検出システムにおいて、
前記第1及び第2の障害判定手段により、前記第1乃至第3の光伝送路が正常であると判定された場合に、前記光通信装置に対して信号光の送信開始を指示する第2の開始指示手段を備える光伝送路障害検出システム。 - 請求項6又は7に記載の光伝送路障害検出システムにおいて、
前記第1及び第2の障害判定手段により、前記第1乃至第3の光伝送路が正常であると判定された場合に、前記第1及び第2の光源に対して励起光の送出パワーの増加を指示する第2の増加指示手段を備える光伝送路障害検出システム。 - 請求項6乃至8の何れかに記載の光伝送路障害検出システムにおいて、
前記第1及び第2の障害判定手段により、前記第1乃至第3の光伝送路の何れかに障害が生じたと判定された場合に、前記光通信装置に対して信号光の送信停止を指示する第3の停止指示手段を備える光伝送路障害検出システム。 - 請求項6乃至9の何れかに記載の光伝送路障害検出システムにおいて、
前記第1及び第2の障害判定手段により、前記第1及び第3の光伝送路の何れかに障害が生じたと判定された場合に、前記第1及び第2の光源に対して励起光の送信停止を指示する第4の停止指示手段を備える光伝送路障害検出システム。
