【産業上の利用分野】
本発明は、フェイシャルティシューペーパーやトイレットペーパー等のティシューペーパーに関し、特に、肌触りを柔らかにする処理を施したティシューペーに関する。

【従来技術】
ティシューペーパーは、直接肌に接触して使用されるので、肌触りの柔らかなものが求められる。

ティシューペーパーを柔らかくして、肌触りをよくすることに関しては、種々の発明がなされてきている。例えば特開平7−109693号、同7−109694号、及び、同189170号には、ティシューペーパーの繊維組織を柔らかくする柔軟剤をティシューペーパーの全面に塗布することにより、当該ティシューペーパーの肌触りを良くするための発明が開示されている。また、特開平7−268800号にはティシューペーパーの表面に多数のエンボスを設けることにより肌触りを良くする発明が開示されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、これらの発明には次のような問題点がある。すなわち、柔軟剤を使用する発明にあっては、当該柔軟剤が非常に高価であるため、ティシューペーパーの製造コストを高くしてしまう。また、ティシューペーパーにエンボスを付する発明では、作られたティシューペーパーの肌触りの良さが、柔軟剤を付与したものに比べて劣る。

本発明は、斯様な従来技術に鑑み、より優れた肌触りを示し、しかも、コストを低く抑えることができるティシューペーパー及びその製造方法並びに装置を提供することを目的としている。

【課題を解決するための手段】
すなわち、本発明においては、表面に所定高さの突起が多数、相互に所定間隔離して設けられたエンボスローラと、該エンボスローラに平行に設定された、軟質表面の加圧ローラとの間に、連続するティシューペーパーを挟み、これらローラを回転しながら当該ティシューペーパーをその長さ方向に移送し、同ローラを通過した当該ティシューペーパーの表面に多数のエンボスを形成する行程と、回転されるエンボスローラの上記突起先端にティシューペーパーの繊維組織を柔軟にする柔軟剤を塗布する行程とを有する、柔軟剤が先端面に付与されたエンボスを有する肌触りの柔らかなティシューペーパーを製造する方法を提供する。

更に、本発明では、表面に所定高さの突起が多数、相互に所定間隔離して設けられたエンボスローラと、該エンボスローラに平行に設定され、同エンボスローラのエンボスに加圧係合される軟質表面を備える加圧ローラと、該エンボスローラに平行に設定され、同エンボスローラのエンボスに係合される柔軟剤塗布用ローラと、該柔軟剤塗布用ローラの表面に、ティシューペーパーの繊維組織を柔軟にする柔軟剤を付与する手段とを有する肌触りの柔らかなティシューペーパーを製造するための装置を提供する。

【作用】
本発明に係る装置及び方法を用いれば、ティシューペーパーを加圧ローラとエンボスローラとの間に通すだけで、上記の如き構成を有するティシューペーパーを製造することができる。そして製造されたティシューペーパーは、エンボスによる肌触りの柔らかさとともに、柔軟剤によるティシューペーパー組織自体の柔軟化により、非常に肌触りの良いものとなり、しかも、柔軟剤の付与はエンボスの先端面だけに限られるので、従来の柔軟剤により肌触りを良くする発明に比べて、当該ティシューペーパーの製造コストを大幅に低く抑えることができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態を、添付図面に基づき説明する。

図1は、本発明に係る、肌触りの柔らかなティシューペーパーを製造するための装置10が組み込まれたトイレットペーパーロール製造装置の概要を示している。

すなわち、本発明に係る装置10は、表面に所定高さの突起12が多数、相互に所定間隔離して設けられたエンボスローラ14と、該エンボスローラに平行に設定され、同エンボスローラのエンボスに加圧係合される軟質表面を備える加圧ローラ、具体的はゴムローラ16と、エンボスローラ14に平行に設定され、同エンボスローラのエンボスに係合して該エンボスの先端面に(ティシューペーパーの繊維組織を柔軟にする)柔軟剤Sを塗布するための柔軟剤塗布用ローラ18を備える柔軟剤塗布手段20とを有している。突起の先端面は、通常、平坦な面とされており、その形状は円形、正方形、菱形など種々のものにすることができる。

【発明の効果】
本発明において製造されるティシューペーパーは、その表面にエンボスEが形成されており、そのエンボスの表面を肌に当てて使用するものであり、そのため、エンボスが設けられていないものに比べて肌触りが柔らかくなり、しかも、当該エンボスの先端面(及びその隣接した部分)には柔軟剤Sが塗布されているため、より一層柔らかなものとなる。柔軟剤の塗布量は、前述したティシューペーパー全面に塗布する従来技術に比べて、数分の一にすることができ、コストを大幅に低減することができる。
