Description

【0001】

As shown in FIG. 3 (a), a door weather strip 20 is attached around the door D of the automobile to seal the gap between the door D and the body that becomes the opening edge B of the door D when the door is closed. .
Such a door weather strip 20 seals a gap by a hollow seal portion 22 and a tongue-shaped lip portion 23 that are integrally formed on the inner side and the outer side of the mounting base 21 elastically contacting the door opening edge B, respectively. It is supposed to be. Further, on the vehicle outer side of the base portion of the lip portion 23, there is a rear lip portion 24 that elastically contacts the standing portion Da of the outer peripheral edge of the door D, that is, the vehicle inner side of the flange portion of the door sash to prevent water from entering. Projected.
[0003]
Among these, especially the lip part 23 needs to raise rigidity from the point of water-tightness and sound-insulating property improvement.
However, when the rigidity of the lip portion 23 is increased, for example, when high-pressure water is directly applied to the lip portion 23 during high-pressure car washing, the lip portion 23 is pushed into the vehicle interior as shown in FIG. The rear lip portion 24 formed at the base portion of the lip portion 23 by the deformation is pulled toward the vehicle interior side. As a result, the rear lip portion 24 is separated from the standing portion Da at the outer peripheral edge of the door D, causing the rear seal to break, and the high pressure water is separated from the standing portion Da at the outer peripheral edge of the door D and the rear seal portion 24 separated therefrom. Between them and the inclined portion Db of the door sash formed at the lower portion of the standing portion Da of the outer peripheral edge of the door D, and enters the vehicle inner side from the bottom of the mounting base 21, so that a sufficient sealing function is not exhibited. There was a problem.
[0004]
Therefore, the present inventor has considered to prevent the back lip portion from being broken by providing a hollow portion in the lip portion.
[0005]
Thus, the door weather strip of the shape which provided the hollow part in the lip | rip part formed in the vehicle outer side of the hollow seal part is known (for example, refer patent document 1, patent document 2).

[Patent Document 1]
JP-A-10-287131 (FIG. 2)
[Patent Document 2]
JP-A-11-99830 (FIG. 2)
[0007]
In this application, those corresponding to Patent Documents 1 and 2 are shown in FIGS.
As shown in FIG. 4, the door weatherstrip 30 described in Patent Document 1 has a solid lip 33a formed at the tip of a lip 33 formed on the outer side of the mounting base 31, and when the door D is closed, The solid lip portion 33a is in contact with the outer surface of the door opening edge portion B to form a closed space 34, and the lip portion 33 is formed in a hollow shape having a substantially triangular cross section. Is high. Therefore, the space 34 closed by the lip portion 33 and the hollow portion 32 is less likely to be sucked when the vehicle is traveling at high speed. Since this improves the generation of the whistle noise, it does not aim to deal with high-pressure water by providing a hollow portion in the lip portion to prevent the back lip portion from being broken.
[0008]
That is, Patent Document 1 does not disclose anything about the high-pressure water applied to the lip portion 33 from a car wash or the like. As shown in FIG. 4, when the margin S of the solid lip portion 33a with respect to the door opening edge B is sufficient, there is no particular problem even if high-pressure water is applied to the lip portion 33, but the door weather strip 30 itself When the margin S of the solid lip portion 33a becomes insufficient due to variations in the shape of the above, variations in the mounting state thereof, or variations between surfaces due to the gap between the door D and the door opening edge B, etc. The solid lip portion 33a cannot enter the high-pressure water and enters the inside of the vehicle, resulting in insufficient sealing performance.
Further, the water is transferred from between the standing portion Da on the outer peripheral edge of the door D and the protrusion 35 to the inclined portion Db of the door sash formed at the lower portion of the standing portion Da on the outer peripheral edge of the door D. There is also a risk of entering the inside of the vehicle from the bottom of 31.
Furthermore, the sound insulation is insufficient when a single wall is set long like the solid lip portion 33a.
[0009]
On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 5, according to the door weather strip 40 described in Patent Document 2, the vehicle interior side wall portion 44 of the lip portion 43 formed on the vehicle exterior side of the mounting base portion 41 has a door opening edge when the door D is closed. The vehicle outer wall 45 is deformed so as to come into contact with the portion B and fall down toward the vehicle outer side, and the vehicle outer wall 45 bends into a convex shape so as to be pressed against the periphery of the door D, and the vehicle inner wall 44 is thickened. Since it is formed, there is no description about high-pressure water, but it is considered that high-pressure water can be dealt with.
However, since the vehicle outer wall 45 is bent into a convex shape, the vehicle outer wall 45 protrudes from the periphery of the door D as shown in FIG. It is bad, and it becomes resistance at the time of high speed driving.
In addition, when the space between the surfaces becomes narrow due to the variation between the surfaces due to the gap between the door D and the door opening edge B, the door closing performance is extremely deteriorated.
[0010]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Therefore, the object of the present invention is to cope with the problem due to the gap in the gap between the door and the door opening edge, and to minimize the influence on the back lip due to the deformation of the lip formed integrally with the mounting base. An object of the present invention is to provide a door weather strip for an automobile that can prevent the rear lip portion from being broken.
Another object of the present invention is to provide an automotive door weather strip that achieves a flash surface and does not deteriorate the appearance, and also has excellent sound insulation.

[0021]
Symbols in parentheses indicate corresponding elements or corresponding matters described in the drawings and embodiments of the invention described later.
[0022]
According to the automobile door weather strip of the present invention, the lip portion that seals the gap between the door outer peripheral edge portion and the door opening edge portion together with the hollow seal portion is provided in the first vehicle inner side wall that is erected in a substantially vertical direction. Portion, a second vehicle inner wall portion connected to bend or bend with respect thereto, and a vehicle outer wall portion, and a hollow portion is provided inside, so that when the door is closed, the first vehicle inner wall portion The inner wall portion and the second vehicle inner wall portion are deformed around a folding point or a bending point, and the lip portion is curved toward the vehicle inner side, so that it does not protrude from the vehicle outer side, and a flash surface can be realized.
According to this, the appearance is not particularly deteriorated in appearance, and the air resistance is not particularly increased during high speed traveling.
[0023]
When high-pressure water from a car wash or the like is applied to the lip portion when the door is closed, the entire lip portion is curved toward the inside of the vehicle, and the second vehicle inner side wall portion is simply a door with respect to the first vehicle inner wall portion via a break point or a bending point. It bends or bends more than when it is closed, and the tip of the lip portion is elastically contacted at a position on the vehicle inner side of the door opening edge and when bent or curved outside the door.
As described above, when the high-pressure water is applied to the lip portion, the first vehicle inner wall portion and the first vehicle inner wall portion are forcibly bent and deformed around the folding point or the bending point, and the vehicle outer wall portion is changed to the hollow portion. Therefore, as shown in the conventional example (Fig. 3), the entire lip part is deformed at the same time, and the force is different from that which pulls the back lip part toward the inside of the vehicle. Communicate in a reduced state.
Therefore, it is possible to prevent the seal from being cut due to the rising of the back lip.
Therefore, when the lip part has the same rigidity as that of the conventional example by changing the material, the influence on the rear lip part when the lip part is curved and deformed inside the vehicle by high-pressure water is much higher than that of the conventional example. Therefore, it is possible to effectively prevent the back lip portion from being cut off.
[0024]
Further, according to the present invention, even if the clearance between the door outer peripheral edge portion and the door opening edge portion becomes wide due to variations between the surfaces and the margin of the lip portion becomes insufficient, the lip portion is the door opening edge portion. The sealability is not particularly inferior because it can be sealed inside the vehicle.
On the contrary, even when the gap between the door outer peripheral edge and the door opening edge is narrow, the lip portion is hollow, so that the lip portion protrudes outside the vehicle when the door is closed. It can be reduced in comparison. Therefore, it is possible to prevent deterioration in door closing performance and appearance.
[0025]
In addition, since the lip portion has a hollow double structure by the first and second vehicle inner wall portions and the vehicle outer wall portion provided with the hollow portion, as shown in the conventional example, the lip having a tongue-like cross section The sound insulation effect is excellent compared to a single unit.
[0026]
In particular, when high-pressure water is applied to the lip portion, the lip portion is prevented from being pushed further into the vehicle by making the first vehicle inner wall portion elastically contact the hollow seal portion. Since it can withstand high-pressure water, it is possible to further prevent the back lip from floating.
Further, if the second vehicle inner wall portion is thicker than the vehicle outer wall portion, the influence on the rear lip portion is less due to the curved deformation of the thin outer wall portion of the vehicle, so that the rear lip portion can be prevented from rising. it can.
Further, the rigidity of the lip portion can be improved by causing the second vehicle inner wall portion and the vehicle outer wall portion to bulge and curve toward the vehicle outer side in a normal mounting state when the door is not closed.
[0027]
Further, when the door is closed, the height of the point at which the outer wall of the vehicle comes into contact with the standing portion formed on the outer peripheral edge of the door is set to the folding point or the bending point provided between the first vehicle inner wall and the second vehicle inner wall. By setting it to be substantially the same as or lower than the height of the lip portion, the lip portion is surely curved and deformed toward the vehicle inner side, so that the protrusion to the vehicle outer side can be further suppressed.
Also, the base of the lip is made thicker than the tip, or the back lip is elastically applied to an inclined part formed by inclining downward from the lower part of the standing part formed on the outer peripheral edge of the door. By providing at the contact position, the back lip can be effectively prevented from rising.
Further, the sound insulation effect is further enhanced by forming the tip of the hollow part formed in the lip part to the vicinity of the extreme end of the tip part of the lip part.
[0028]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
With reference to FIG.1 and FIG.2, the door weather strip 10 for motor vehicles based on embodiment of this invention is demonstrated. FIG. 1 shows a cross section of an automobile door weather strip 10 attached to a door D, and FIG. 2A shows a state in which the automobile door weather strip 10 shown in FIG. A cross section is shown, and FIG. 2B shows a cross section of a state where high-pressure water such as a car wash is applied.
[0029]
As shown in FIG. 1, an automobile door weatherstrip 10 according to an embodiment of the present invention mainly includes an attachment base 11 attached along the outer peripheral edge of the automobile door D, and an inner side of the attachment base 11. It is integrally molded, and is formed integrally with the outside of the mounting base 11 on the outside of the mounting base 11 and the hollow seal portion 12 that elastically contacts the door opening edge B when the door D is closed and seals the gap between the door D outer periphery and the door opening edge B. The lip portion 13 that elastically contacts the door opening edge B when the door D is closed and seals the gap between the door D outer peripheral edge portion and the door opening edge portion B together with the hollow seal portion 12, and the base portion of the lip portion 13 A rear lip portion 19 that protrudes from the vehicle exterior side and elastically contacts the vehicle interior side of the outer peripheral edge of the door is provided.
[0030]
The lip portion 13 is formed by a vehicle outer side wall portion 14 and a vehicle inner side wall portion 15, and a hollow portion 16 is provided therein. The vehicle interior side wall portion 15 further includes a first vehicle interior side wall portion 15a and a second vehicle interior side wall portion 15b. More specifically, the first vehicle inner wall portion 15a is erected in a substantially vertical direction from the mounting base 11, and the first vehicle inner wall portion 15a is disposed at the tip of the first vehicle inner wall portion 15a so that the tip is a fold point or a bending point X. One end of the side wall part 15b is connected. The other end of the second vehicle inner wall portion 15b extends toward the vehicle outer side. One end of the vehicle outer wall portion 14 is connected to the other end of the second vehicle inner wall portion 15 b, and the other end is connected to the vehicle outer side of the base portion of the first vehicle inner wall portion 15 a in the mounting base 11.
[0031]
The vehicle outer wall portion 14 bulges and curves toward the vehicle outer side, and the second vehicle inner wall portion 15b also bulges and curves toward the vehicle outer side. In addition, you may make the 2nd vehicle inner side wall part 15b into a linear shape.
The second vehicle inner wall portion 15b is thicker than the vehicle outer wall portion 14, and the first vehicle inner wall portion 15a is thicker than the second vehicle inner wall portion 15b. Further, the wall thickness W of the base portion of the lip portion 13 is made thicker than the tip portion, and the transmission of the force applied to the lip portion 13 to the back lip portion 19 is reduced.
Further, at least when the door is closed, the vehicle outer side wall portion 14 is in contact with a standing portion Da that is a flange formed on the outer peripheral edge of the door (may be in contact with the door even when the door is not closed. The height of the contact point Y is substantially the same as the height of the folding point or the bending point X provided between the first vehicle inner wall portion 15a and the second vehicle inner wall portion 15b. Set it lower or lower. This prevents a part of the lip portion 13 from protruding to the outside of the vehicle when the lip portion 13 is curved toward the inside of the vehicle, preventing the flash surface from being hindered.
[0032]
The front end 16a of the hollow portion 16 is tapered, and the rear end 16b on the mounting base 11 side is round and has a substantially water-drop shape.
Thus, the lip part 13 in which the hollow part 16 is formed is excellent in the sound insulation effect as compared with the lip part having a single tongue-like cross section as shown in the conventional example (FIG. 3).
In particular, the distal end 16a of the hollow portion 16 is formed up to the vicinity of the extreme end 18 of the distal end portion of the lip portion 13, so that the sound insulation effect by the hollow double structure is further enhanced.
Further, a sufficient margin S is secured so that the front end of the lip 13 can be surely buffered to the door opening edge B when the door is closed.
[0033]
The rear lip portion 19 is provided at a position where the rear lip portion 19 elastically contacts the inclined portion Db of the door sash formed by inclining downward from the lower side of the standing portion Da formed on the outer peripheral edge portion of the door. The back lip 19 is effectively prevented from being lifted as compared with the case where it is elastically contacted to the inside of the vehicle.
[0034]
As shown in FIG. 2 (a), when the door D is closed, the front end of the lip portion 13 is along the outer surface m of the door opening edge B or on the vehicle inner side than the outer surface m. Elastically touch B. Due to the deformation, the portion Y of the vehicle outer side wall portion 14 in contact with the upper end of the standing portion Da formed on the outer peripheral edge portion of the door becomes a break point or a bending point, and the vehicle outer side wall portion 14 is bent from the vehicle outer side. It is deformed so as to be curved inward. And the 1st vehicle interior side wall part 15a and the 2nd vehicle interior side wall part 15b deform | transform a little centering | focusing on the folding point or bending point X provided between them. As a result, the lip portion 13 curves toward the inside of the vehicle, so that it does not protrude from the outside of the vehicle and a flash surface can be realized. According to this, the appearance is not particularly deteriorated in appearance, and the air resistance is not particularly increased during high speed traveling.
[0035]
In this state, as shown in FIG. 2 (b), when high-pressure water from a car wash or the like is applied to the lip portion 13, the entire lip portion 13 is bent toward the inside of the vehicle, and the second vehicle inner side wall portion 15b is bent or bent. B is bent or bent larger than that when the door is closed with respect to the first vehicle inner side wall portion 15a via X, and the tip of the lip portion 13 is located closer to the inside of the door opening edge B than when the door is closed. It comes into elastic contact with the part and in the bent or curved state outside the vehicle.
As described above, when the high-pressure water is applied to the lip portion 13, the first vehicle inner wall portion 15 a and the first vehicle inner wall portion 15 b are forcibly bent and deformed around the break point or the bending point X, and the vehicle outer wall portion. 14 is curved and deformed through the hollow portion 16, so that the outside of the vehicle is compared with the case where the lip portion is solid as in the case of a single lip portion having a tongue-like cross section as shown in the conventional example (FIG. 3). The influence of the curved deformation of the lip portion 13 is not directly transmitted to the rear lip portion 19 protruding from the base portion of the wall portion 14 but is transmitted to the rear lip portion 19 in a reduced state. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the seal from being cut due to the rising of the back lip portion 19.
[0036]
When high-pressure water is applied to the lip portion 13, the vehicle inner surface of the first vehicle inner side wall portion 15a is made to elastically contact the vehicle outer surface of the hollow seal portion 12 (the state where it is not elastically contacted in FIG. 2B). The back lip portion 19 may be prevented from being lifted by suppressing further deformation of the lip portion 13.
[0037]
【The invention's effect】
[0038]
Further, when high-pressure water from a car wash or the like is applied to the lip portion when the door is closed, the first vehicle inner wall portion and the first vehicle inner wall portion are forcibly bent and deformed around a break point or a bending point, and the vehicle outer wall portion. Is curved and deformed through the hollow portion, as shown in the conventional example (FIG. 3), the entire lip portion is deformed at the same time, and its force is different from that pulling the rear lip portion toward the inside of the vehicle. The effect of bending deformation of the part is transmitted in a reduced state.
Therefore, it is possible to prevent the seal from being cut due to the rising of the back lip.
[0039]
[0040]
In addition, since the lip portion has a hollow double structure by the first and second vehicle inner wall portions and the vehicle outer wall portion provided with the hollow portion, as shown in the conventional example, the lip having a tongue-like cross section The sound insulation effect is excellent compared to a single unit.
[0041]
[0042]
Further, when the door is closed, the height of the point at which the outer wall of the vehicle comes into contact with the standing portion formed on the outer peripheral edge of the door is set at the folding point or the bending point provided between the first vehicle inner wall and the second vehicle inner wall.
