BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an adhesive application device in which a predetermined amount of adhesive is discharged and applied to an adhesive surface of a member to be bonded.
[0002]
More specifically, the adhesive is stably applied by inclining the opening plane of the tip of the nozzle of the dispenser that discharges the adhesive with respect to the adhesive surface and discharging the adhesive onto the adhesive surface of the member to be bonded. The present invention relates to an adhesive application device and an adhesive application method, and is particularly mounted on mobile communication devices such as pagers, mobile phones, and PDAs, small electric / electronic devices such as CD players, MD players, and small tape recorders, and automobiles. Adhesive members that have multiple adhesive surfaces such as key tops or base members of key top structures used for pushbutton switches of these small electric and electronic devices, which have a small adhesive surface and require a small amount of adhesive Is applicable.
[0003]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, as a method of applying an adhesive, cream solder, etc. to an adherend, adhesives, cream solder, etc. are accommodated in consideration of workability and controllability of the discharge amount of adhesive, cream solder, etc. There is known a method of discharging adhesive, cream solder, or the like using a dispenser having a syringe and a nozzle provided on the discharge port side of the tip of the syringe.
[0004]
As a first prior art of this type, a dispenser is vertically installed in a drive mechanism that enables the dispenser to move, and a nozzle is attached along the dispenser. And a to-be-adhered member is installed in the position where the adhesion surface which apply | coats an adhesive agent, and the opening plane of the discharge port of a nozzle become parallel. Then, when the adhesive is discharged from the dispenser, the opening plane of the nozzle is moved to the adhesive surface to a height with a predetermined clearance so that the adhesive does not go around and adhere to the outer peripheral edge of the nozzle tip. Let them approach. Next, there is one in which an adhesive is applied to the bonding surface of a member to be bonded by discharging a certain amount of the adhesive from a dispenser. (For example, refer to Patent Document 1).
[0005]
As a second prior art, the dispenser is supported by moving means that allows the dispenser to move, and the nozzle is attached along the dispenser. And a to-be-adhered member is installed in the position where the opening plane of the discharge port of a nozzle inclines with respect to the adhesion surface which apply | coats an adhesive agent. Then, when the adhesive is discharged from the dispenser, the tip of the nozzle is brought into contact with the adhesive surface in order to stabilize the amount of adhesive applied to the adhesive surface and the adhesive force of the adhesive. Next, a predetermined amount of adhesive is discharged from the dispenser, and further, the nozzle is pressed against the adhesive surface in order to securely adhere the adhesive to the adhesive surface, and then the nozzle is pulled away from the adhesive surface to remove the adhesive member. Some have an adhesive applied to the adhesive surface. (For example, refer to Patent Document 2).

[0008]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, there is a first prior art in which a predetermined clearance is provided between the nozzle and the adhesive surface by using a dispenser mounted so that the opening plane of the nozzle outlet is parallel to the adhesive surface. When the adhesive is discharged onto the bonding surface of the member to be bonded, the bonded member such as a key top or base member that forms a key top structure such as a mobile communication device or a small electric / electronic device is used. When it is small, the bonding surface itself is small, and a very small amount of adhesive is required for bonding. For this reason, the clearance between the opening plane and the bonding surface is set narrow so that a small amount of the adhesive droplet discharged from the opening plane is brought into contact with the bonding surface to reliably discharge the adhesive to a predetermined position. On the other hand, since there is a variation in the height of the bonding surface that occurs when the bonded member is molded, when the bonding surface is molded higher than a predetermined height, the bonding surface is the tip of the nozzle with respect to the bonding surface. There is a problem that the adhesive plane cannot be discharged because it contacts the opening plane of the portion and closes the opening plane. In addition, since the opening plane is parallel to the adhesive surface, the adhesive wraps around and adheres to the entire outer peripheral edge of the nozzle tip, so that the adhesive is cured and a sufficient amount of adhesion is applied to the adhesive surface As a result, there is a problem that sufficient adhesive strength cannot be obtained when the member to be bonded is bonded to another member.
[0009]
In the second prior art in which the nozzle is brought into contact with the adhesive surface using a dispenser mounted so that the nozzle is inclined with respect to the adhesive surface, the adhesive is applied to the adhesive surface of the member to be bonded. When discharging, if the nozzle is brought into contact with the bonding surface, the discharged adhesive is cured and the nozzle and the member to be bonded are fixed.
[0010]
Accordingly, the present invention has been made to solve the conventional problems as described above, and prevents variations in the amount of adhesive discharged onto the bonding surface of the adherend without causing the nozzle to adhere to the bonding surface. It is an object of the present invention to provide an adhesive application device and an adhesive application method for stably applying an adhesive.
[0011]

【The invention's effect】
As explained above, claim 1Or 2According to the invention described in the above, the dispenser having the syringe containing the adhesive and the nozzle having the discharge port for discharging the adhesive is configured to discharge the adhesive on the bonding surface of the member to be bonded by a certain amount. The adhesive application device, wherein the adhesive isLiquid cyanoacrylate instant adhesiveAnd having a moving device that can move the nozzle relative to the bonding surface by providing a predetermined clearance between the discharge port and the bonding surface. When the clearance between the preset opening plane and the adhesive surface becomes narrower than the predetermined dimension due to the variation in the height of the adhesive surface that occurs when the adherend is molded. However, when the adhesive is applied to the adhesive surface, the adhesive wraps around the entire outer peripheral edge of the nozzle tip, which occurs when the adhesive is applied with the conventional opening plane parallel to the adhesive surface. Since it does not adhere, it is possible to prevent variation in the amount of the adhesive discharged onto the bonding surface of the member to be bonded and stably apply the adhesive. Furthermore, since the tip of the nozzle is not in contact with the bonding surface, the nozzle and the member to be bonded do not adhere. In addition, since the adhesive does not wrap around and adhere to the entire outer peripheral edge of the tip of the nozzle, the adhesive does not harden, and therefore the dispenser nozzle replacement operation can be reduced.
[0109]
Claim 3According to the invention described in (1), the syringe and the nozzle are independently arranged at different locations, and an adhesive supply member for supplying an adhesive from the syringe to the nozzle is provided between the syringe and the nozzle. Therefore, in addition to the effect of any one of claims 1 to 5, the nozzle can be moved even if there is no space for providing a dispenser above the bonding surface, as in the case where the bonding surface of the bonded member is high. As long as there is space, the adhesive can be applied to the adhesive surface.
[0110]
Claim 4According to the invention described in (5), since it is used for bonding the key top, which is a member to be bonded, to the base member to which the key top is fixed, the effect according to any one of claims 1 to 6 is achieved. In addition, it is possible to apply the adhesive particularly stably to the adhesive having a plurality of adhesive surfaces, and having a plurality of adhesive surfaces, and a necessary amount of the adhesive is small.
