本発明は、スポーツドリンクやジュースのような液体飲料を充填するための自立性袋状容器の製造方法に関するもので、特に、オートメーションによる製造に適する製造方法に関するものである。

上記のような側壁部を備えた袋状容器とその製造方法が、特開平5−221451号公報に開示されており、その袋状容器は、内容物を充填すると、底部の熱シール部と底部形成シートが水平になって、自立安定性に優れている。

上記の袋状容器は、自立安定性に優れているが、袋状容器を手で持上げたときに、底部が水平面であるので、内容物の重量を底部形成シートと水平な底部熱シール部とで支えることとなり、底部形成シートが下方に撓み易く、底部の保形性に問題がある。このことは、袋状容器を薄い材料で製造する上で障害となる。
また、その製造方法は、接着された平面部と側壁部とのシール部に切込みを入れる工程と、切込みを入れた側壁部を外方に折拡げる工程とを必要とするので手間がかかる。

そこで、本出願人は、薄い材料で袋状容器を製造しても、保形性及び自立安定性の良い袋状容器とその製造方法の発明について特許出願(特願平11−250585号)した。
この発明は、一対の平面部の間に、縦長に二つ折りした一対の側壁部をそれらの折れ目を向かい合わせて挟み、平面部と側壁部と四箇所の側縁部をそれぞれ接着して六面体を形成し、この六面体の一方の開口の内側に、下端縁が六面体で正面が山形状になるように一枚のシートを折畳んで形成した底部形成シートを挿入し、このシートの下端縁を接着して容器底部に容器軸線方向に延びる接着部を形成するようにしたものである。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記先願の発明は、薄い材料で袋状容器を製造しても、保形性及び自立安定性の良い袋状容器が得られるが、その製造工程を自動化する場合に、次の問題点があることが判明した。
上記先願発明の製造方法では、平面部と側壁部とを接着した六面体に、山形状に折畳んだ底部形成シートを挿入する際に、六面体を形成する平面部と側壁部とが薄い材料で形成されているので撓んでしまい、底部形成シートをうまく挿入できない場合がある。このことは、製造工程を自動化する上で大きな障害となる。本発明は、上記問題点の解決を鋭意研究した結果得られたものであって、薄い材料を使用して保形性及び自立安定性の良い袋状容器を、自動化した工程で容易に製造することができる製造方法を提供することを目的とするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】

【発明の実施の形態】
図1は、本発明の製造方法で作った袋状容器の一例を示す斜視図であって、内容物を充填して密封した状態を示す。

【発明の効果】
