Description
シリンダと、
該シリンダ内で往復自在なピストンと、
ピストンに誘導結合された少なくとも1つの励磁巻線を有する往復リニア電気モータと、
前記ピストンの往復時間の測定値を得る手段と、
前記往復時間の突然の減少検出する手段と、を備え、
前記減少は、前記ピストンがシリンダヘッドに衝突したことを示すものであり、
前記圧縮機はさらに、
検出された往復時間の突然の減少に応答して前記励磁巻線への入力を調節する手段を、備えている、ことを特徴とするフリーピストンガス圧縮機が提供される。
圧縮機は、励磁電流が流れていないときに、前記少なくとも1つの励磁巻線中に誘導されるバックEMFをサンプリングするバックEMF検出手段と、前記バックEMF検出手段の出力端に接続された零交差検出手段と、前記零交差間の時間間隔を決定して、前記ピストンの往復動の各半周期を決定するタイミング手段と、連続する2つの半周期を合計し前記往復動の時間を算出する手段と、をさらに有しているのが好ましい。
前記アーマチャの往復時間を決定するステップと、
前記往復時間の突然の減少を検出するステップと、
検出された往復時間の減少に応答して前記リニアモータへの電力入力を減少させるステップと備えている、ことを特徴とする方法が提供される。
前記モータへの入力電力の減少に引き続いて、往復時間の突然の減少が再度、検出されるまで、モータ電力を一定期間にわたり段階的に増大させるのが好ましい。
本明細書における開示及び説明は、例示に過ぎず、本発明をいかなる意味においても限定するものではない。
本発明は、前記の内容にあり、又、以下の実施形態の構成を含む。次に、本発明の好ましい一形態を添付の図面を参照して説明する。
フリーピストン圧縮機は、圧縮機ピストン−ばね系の固有振動数で駆動された場合に最も効率が高いことが実験でわかった。しかしながら、注意深く設けられた金属ばねと同様、固有のガスばねがあり、その有効ばね定数は、冷凍用圧縮機の場合、蒸発器圧力又は凝縮器圧力の何れかが変化するにつれて変化する。既に説明した電子的に整流される永久磁石モータは、例えば国際公開第WO01/79671号パンフレットに開示されているような電子的に整流される永久磁石モータにおいて本出願人の経験するところから引き出された技術を含む技術を用いて制御される。なお、この国際公開パンフレットの開示内容を本明細書の一部を形成するものとして援用する。
Claims (9)
- フリーピストンガス圧縮機であって、
シリンダと、
該シリンダ内で往復自在なピストンと、
ピストンに誘導結合された少なくとも1つの励磁巻線を有する往復リニア電気モータと、
前記ピストンの往復時間の測定値を得る手段と、
前記往復時間の突然の減少を検出する手段と、を備え、
前記減少は、前記ピストンがシリンダヘッドに衝突したことを示すものであり、
前記圧縮機はさらに、
検出された往復時間の突然の減少に応答して前記励磁巻線への入力を調節する手段を、備えている、
ことを特徴とするフリーピストンガス圧縮機。 - 前記モータは、電子的に整流される永久磁石DCモータである、
請求項1に記載のフリーピストンガス圧縮機。 - 前記ピストンの往復時間の測定値を得る手段が、
励磁電流が流れていないときに、前記少なくとも1つの励磁巻線中に誘導されるバックEMFをサンプリングするバックEMF検出手段と、
前記バックEMF検出手段の出力端に接続された零交差検出手段と、
前記零交差間の時間間隔を決定して、前記ピストンの往復動の各半周期を決定するタイミング手段と、
連続する2つの半周期を合計し前記往復動の時間を算出する手段と、を有している、
請求項1又は2に記載のフリーピストンガス圧縮機。 - 前記往復時間の突然の減少を検出する前記手段は、前記半周期の時間から別々の濾波又は平滑化された値を生成する手段と、前記2つの濾波又は平滑化された値を合計して往復時間の平滑化された値を生成する手段と、直近に測定された往復時間を前記往復時間の平滑化された値と比較して差値を算出する手段と、該差値が所定しきい値を所定期間にわたって越えているか否かを判定する手段と、を備えている、
請求項3に記載のフリーピストンガス圧縮機。 - 前記入力電力の減少に応答して、前記モータへの入力電力を所定期間にわたって段階的に増大させる手段を更に備えている、
請求項1ないし3のいずれか1項に記載のフリーピストンガス圧縮機。 - リニアモータのアーマチャの往復運動を制御する方法であって、
前記アーマチャの往復時間を決定するステップと、
前記往復時間の突然の減少を検出するステップと、
検出された往復時間の減少に応答して前記リニアモータへの電力入力を減少させるステップと、備えている、
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記往復時間を求めるステップが、前記リニアモータのバックEMFの零交差を検出し、前記零交差間の時間間隔から往復時間を決定するステップを備えている、
請求項6に記載の方法。 - 前記往復時間の突然の減少を検出するステップが、濾波または平滑化された値から往復時間を検出し差値を生成し、該差値が所定閾値を所定時間にわたり越えていれば前記リニアモータへの入力電力を減少させるステップを備えている、
請求項6または7に記載の方法。 - 前記モータへの入力電力の減少に引き続いて、往復時間の突然の減少が再度、検出されるまで、モータ電力を一定期間にわたり段階的に増大させる、
請求項6ないし8のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
