【課題を解決するための手段】
この発明の外壁パネルフレームは、パネル外周フレームの下辺を構成するフレーム材を、水切片が一体に延出した水切付きフレーム材としたものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
この発明の一実施形態を図1および図2と共に説明する。
図1(A),(B)に縦断面図および裏面図で示すように、この外壁パネル1は、外壁パネルフレームであるパネル外周フレーム2に外装面材3を張り付けたものである。外装面材3はセメント板やスレート板等からなる。パネル外周フレーム2は、上下左右の各辺を構成するフレーム材4〜7を方形に接合したものである。各フレーム材4〜7は、軽量形鋼製のものであり、いずれも中空形状としてある。なお、パネル外周フレーム2に中桟を設けて外壁パネルフレームとしてもよい。中桟は、パネル外周フレーム2の各辺のフレーム材4〜7と同様な金属製のものであっても、また木製のものであってもよい。

下辺を構成するフレーム材5は、鋼板のロール成形品からなり、屋外側に水切片5bが一体に延出した水切付きフレーム材とされる。すなわち、このフレーム材5は、中空形状のフレーム材本体5aと、このフレーム材本体5aの屋外面下端から、屋外側でかつ下方へ延びた水切片5bとでなる。水切片5bは、フレーム材本体5aの屋外面形成部分5a1 および下面形成部分5a2 から各々一体に延びる板部5b1 ,5b2 が互いに重なった二重板状とされている。これにより、水切片5bに十分な強度を持たせることができる。また、このように薄板のロール成形品とし、水切片5bを二重板状とすることで、水切付きフレーム材5を容易にかつ軽量に成形できる。水切片5bの断面形状は、屋外側下方へ延びる傾斜部分から、さらに垂直に下方へ延びる立ち下がり部分が延びるように、く字形に屈曲した形状とされているが、その傾斜部分および立ち下がり部分の寸法は、外壁パネル1の各部の構成に応じて、防水機能が十分に発揮できるように適宜設計される。

【発明の効果】
この発明の外壁パネルフレームは、パネル外周フレームの下辺を構成するフレーム材を、水切片が一体に延出した水切付きフレーム材としたため、外壁パネルの取付け施工において、隣り合う外壁パネルの横目地部を防水する水切片を、別途、取付ける作業が不要で、施工が簡単になる。また、水切片を取付けるビスが不要で、ビス頭で外装面材を破損する恐れがない。さらに、防水機能の耐久性が向上する。
上記外壁パネルフレームにおいて、水切付きフレーム材を、鋼板のロール成形品としたため、この水切付きフレーム材を容易に成形することができる。
また、上記外壁パネルフレームにおいて、水切付きフレーム材が、中空形状のフレーム材本体と、このフレーム材本体の屋外面下端から、屋外側でかつ下方へ延びた水切片とでなり、この水切片は、前記フレーム材本体の屋外面形成部分および下面形成部分から各々一体に延びる板部が互いに重なった二重板状のものであるため、水切付きフレーム材を軽量で堅固なものに形成でき、その成形も容易に行える。
また、この発明の外壁パネルは、上記構成の外壁パネルフレームに、外装面材を張り付けたものであるため、施工が容易で、外装面材の割れ等の問題がなく、また防水機能の耐久性にも優れる。
