本発明は出金処理のために入金処理で既に収納した紙幣を再利用する循環式紙幣収納庫を用いた循環式の紙幣処理機に関し、特に銀行などの金融施設、競馬などの公営競技施設などに設置して紙幣の入出金処理を行う小型の紙幣処理機に関する。

【従来の技術】
銀行などにおける紙幣の自動的な預け入れもしくは払い出しおよび競馬など公営競技場における投票券などの購入や勝券などの払い戻しに際し、紙幣の入出金処理を行う紙幣処理機が利用されている。

ここで、従来の紙幣処理機について図を用いて説明する。
図7は従来の紙幣処理機の概略構成を示す側断面図である。
この図7において、紙幣処理機101は、その機筐102の利用者側に面する正面に利用者用の紙幣入金口103および紙幣出金口104を備え、機筐102の背面側にはオペレータ用の紙幣補充口105、収納紙幣回収口106、出金リジェクト紙幣回収口107および補充リジェクト紙幣回収口108が備えられている。

このような構成を有する紙幣処理機101において、入金処理を行うときには、紙幣入金口103から投入された複数の紙幣は、入金部109で1枚ずつに分離されて順次繰り出され、鑑別部110で順次鑑別される。この鑑別部110による鑑別結果に応じて鑑別済みの紙幣を対応する金種の循環式収納庫、すなわち第1金種紙幣用循環式収納庫111、第2金種紙幣用循環式収納庫112、第3金種紙幣用循環式収納庫113および第4金種紙幣用循環式収納庫114のいずれか1つに積み重ね収納される。鑑別部110にて不適格と判定された紙幣は、出金部116へ搬送され、紙幣出金口104より出金される。

しかしながら、従来の紙幣処理機においては、金種紙幣の種類数に対応した個数の循環式収納庫を備えており、さらにオペレータに面した機筐の背面側には補充庫、回収庫、出金リジェクト庫および補充リジェクト庫を縦方向に並べなければならず、紙幣処理機が大型かつ高価なものになるという問題点があった。

本発明はこのような点に鑑みてなされたものであり、紙幣を収納する循環式収納庫、補充庫、回収庫の個数を低減し、小型化、低価格化した紙幣処理機を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明では上記問題を解決するために、紙幣の入出金処理を行う循環式紙幣処理機において、機筐正面の入金口から一括投入された複数枚の入金紙幣群を1枚ずつ分離して順次繰り出す入金部と、入金時、出金時、補充時および回収時に搬送される紙幣を鑑別して送り出す鑑別部と、入金時および補充時に前記鑑別部で適格と判定された複数の金種紙幣を混合して順次積み重ねて収納すると共に、出金時および回収時に積み重ねて収納された紙幣を1枚ずつ分離して前記鑑別部に順次繰り出す循環式金種混合収納庫と、入金時および補充時に前記鑑別部で適格と判定された特定の金種紙幣のみを順次積み重ねて収納すると共に、出金時および回収時に積み重ねて収納された紙幣を1枚ずつ分離して前記鑑別部に順次繰り出す循環式特定金種収納庫と、機筐背面の補充回収口から装填された補充紙幣群を1枚ずつ分離して前記鑑別部に順次繰り出すと共に、前記循環式金種混合収納庫および前記循環式特定金種収納庫に収納された紙幣の回収時に前記鑑別部で適格と判定された紙幣を順次積み重ねて収納する補充回収庫と、入金時に前記鑑別部で不適格と判定された紙幣または出金時に前記鑑別部で適格と判定された紙幣を順次積み重ねて保留したのち機筐前面の出金口へ一括投出を行う出金部と、出金時および回収時に前記鑑別部で不適格と判定された紙幣を順次積み重ねて収納する出金リジェクト庫と、補充時に前記鑑別部で不適格と判定された紙幣を順次積み重ねて収納する補充リジェクト庫と、を備え、前記補充回収庫は、出金時に前記循環式金種混合収納庫から繰り出され前記鑑別部で出金不要と判定された金種紙幣を一時的に収納し、前記補充回収庫に一時的に収納された紙幣を出金終了後の処理空き時間中に順次繰り出して前記循環式金種混合収納庫に再度収納させるように構成したことを特徴とする紙幣処理機が提供される。
