Description
【0001】
(TOKERUDE A. "Seawater used as SO2 removal agent" Modern Power systems, pp-21, 23, 25, 1989及びNYMAN G B G "Seawater scrubbing removes SO2 from refinery flue gases" Oil & Gas Journal vol. 89, No. 26, pp52-54, 1991)。
i)NO
NO + ClO- → NO2 - + 1/2(Cl2)
NO + 1/2O2 → NO2
2NO2 → N2O4
N2O4 + H2O → HNO3 + HNO2
HNO3 + NaOH → NaNO3 + H2O
HNO2 + NaOH → NaNO2 + H2O
ii)SOx
SO2 + H2O → H2SO3
H2SO3 + 1/2O2 → H2SO4
H2SO3 + NaOH → Na2SO3 + 2H2O
H2SO4 + 2NaOH → Na2SO4 + 2H2O
【0036】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention is an exhaust gas purifying apparatus, and particularly relates to an exhaust gas purifying apparatus for purifying exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine or the like of the ship to navigate the boiler other combustion equipment and marine power plants deployed near shore using seawater .
[0002]
[Prior art]
In general, fossil fuels are used for combustion equipment such as internal combustion engines and burners, and NOx, SOx, COx, dust particles, etc. contained in the exhaust gas and flue gas emitted by the combustion contribute to environmental pollution and global warming. It is a cause. In order to solve this problem, various proposals such as fuel treatment, combustion improvement, and exhaust gas treatment with a catalyst have been proposed, and the exhaust gas from land vehicles has been improved to some extent.
[0003]
However, if these measures are applied to marine engines, boilers, heating furnace burners, and other combustion equipment that use light oil or heavy oil as fuel, the displacement and fuel consumption are overwhelmingly larger than those of land-based vehicles. Therefore, the manufacturing cost and the operating cost are remarkably increased, and there is a problem that it cannot be put into practical use from an economical viewpoint. For this reason, in this type of internal combustion engine and combustion equipment, it is currently recommended to use a low-sulphur fuel instead of the inexpensive ultra-low-quality oil with a high sulfur content and residual carbon content. It is.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, although the emission regulations for NOx and SOx on ships stipulated in January 2000 are not yet effective, the emission regulation values cannot be achieved only by using low-sulfur fuel. In addition to being expensive compared to ultra-low quality oil, it is not a radical solution, and in the case of an internal combustion engine such as a diesel engine, the engine is caused by friction and wear between the piston ring and the cylinder liner. A new problem has been revealed that is severely damaged.
[0005]
On the other hand, a method using seawater as an SO 2 absorbent has been proposed as an exhaust gas purification method (TOKERUDE A. “Seawater used as SO 2 removal agent” Modern Power systems, pp-21, 23, 25, 1989 and NYMAN GBG “ Seawater scrubbing removes SO 2 from refinery flue gases "Oil & Gas Journal vol. 89, No. 26, pp52-54, 1991). In these methods, a part of the seawater from the condenser is introduced into the scrubber and brought into gas-liquid contact to absorb SO 2 in the flue gas, and the generated acidic seawater is mixed with the seawater from the condenser. and converts the sulfate ion is a natural component of the sea water by oxidation of SO 2 by aeration, after saturation of oxygen in the liquid, is intended to discharge into the sea. This method has an advantage that most of SO 2 in the flue gas can be removed, but other sulfur compounds H 2 S, COS, CS 2 and other components contained in the flue gas, NOx, COx, dust particles, etc. There is a problem that cannot be dealt with.
[0006]
As a means to solve this problem, the present inventor has developed a marine flue gas desulfurization denitration system in collaboration with Nishida Osami and others (Nishida Osamu, Anjo Ken, Tashiro Masanori et al. Development of denitration system ”, Kansai Branch 76th Annual General Meeting Lecture Collection No.014-1, 14-9-14-10, published by Kansai Branch of the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers). This marine flue gas desulfurization denitration system consists of a scrubber equipped with a treated exhaust gas inlet at the top and an exhaust port at the bottom of the side wall, and a seawater electrolyzer that electrolyzes seawater to produce alkaline and acidic liquids. The spray nozzle is disposed inside the scrubber , and the waste gas to be treated descending from the top of the scrubber is sprayed with the alkaline liquid or the acidic liquid generated by the seawater electrolysis device through the spray nozzle to bring it into gas-liquid contact. A marine flue gas desulfurization denitration system was developed. This device pumps seawater with a pump and filters it, then electrolyzes it to produce an alkaline liquid and an acidic liquid, and sprays the produced alkaline liquid into a scrubber to neutralize sulfur oxides, or in the positive electrode chamber. The generated acidic liquid is sprayed into a scrubber to oxidize NO to NO 2 to treat nitrogen oxides.
[0007]
In this apparatus, if the pH value of the alkaline solution is about 10, SO 2 can be reduced by almost 100%, and CO and NOx can be reduced by a maximum of 75% and 95%, respectively. As a result, only a reduction effect of less than half was obtained, and it was necessary to further increase the processing capacity.
[0008]
In order to solve this problem, the present inventor, in cooperation with Osamu Nishida, etc., used the electrolysis tank itself as an exhaust gas treatment tank, configured the electrolysis tank integrally with the scrubber, and treated the inside of the scrubber. Exhaust gas that is introduced into the alkaline liquid production chamber and the acidic liquid production chamber partitioned by the diaphragm of the electrolysis tank in order to introduce the exhaust gas and spray the seawater to bring it into gas-liquid contact. Developed treatment equipment (Ken Anjo, Osamu Nishida, Masanori Tashiro et al., “Effects of exhaust gas treatment by thin liquid film reaction of seawater electrolyzed water”, Fall 2001 Marine Engineering Scientific Lecture). This apparatus comprises a scrubber that sprays seawater into a processing chamber in which exhaust gas to be treated flows to make gas-liquid contact, and an electrolysis apparatus that is integrated with the scrubber and generates an alkaline liquid and an acidic liquid. Has two treatment chambers which are mutually separated by a diaphragm and each have a treated exhaust gas outlet at the bottom, and connect the treated exhaust gas outlet of the scrubber to the outlet at the bottom of one of the treatment chambers, and The exhaust gas exhaust port of the processing chamber is connected to the bottom of the other processing chamber.
[0009]
However, in this apparatus, since the electrolysis tank and the scrubber are integrated, the occupying volume of the apparatus inevitably increases, and there are many restrictions on installation on a ship, and the exhaust gas to be treated is placed at the bottom of the processing chamber. Due to the structure of press-fitting in the form of fine bubbles, the pressure loss becomes large and surplus power is required. In addition, in this apparatus, since the solid matter collected by the scrubber is discharged by the belt conveyor, the conveyor drive mechanism is corroded by the acid liquid used as the cleaning liquid, and if it is attempted to increase the corrosion resistance to prevent this, the cost increases. It became clear that there were problems such as inviting.
[0010]
Therefore, the present invention can not only reduce SO 2 by almost 100%, but also further reduce NOx, COx and dust particles, and obtain an exhaust gas treatment apparatus that is small and inexpensive enough to be mounted on a ship. Is an issue.
[0011]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In the present invention, as means for solving the above-mentioned problems, basically, after seawater is electrolyzed to produce an alkaline liquid and an acidic liquid, and the exhaust gas to be treated is brought into gas-liquid contact with the acidic liquid, The liquid is brought into contact with the alkaline liquid.
[0012]
In a preferred embodiment of the method of the present invention, at least one scrubber is used as a gas-liquid contact means for bringing a gas into contact with a liquid, and an exhaust gas flow to be processed flowing from the lower part to the upper part of the scrubber is formed. The gas-liquid contact is performed by spraying the acidic liquid and / or the alkaline liquid.
[0013]
When one scrubber is used as the gas-liquid contact means, at least two stages of gas-liquid contact portions are disposed in the scrubber along the flow direction of the exhaust gas to be treated, and the acidic liquid is disposed in the gas-liquid contact portion on the upstream side. After spraying the gas-liquid contact with the exhaust gas to be treated, it is preferable to spray the alkaline liquid on the gas-liquid contact portion on the downstream side to make the gas-liquid contact with the exhaust gas to be treated.
[0014]
When there is room in the installation space, two scrubbers were used, these were connected in series along the flow direction of the treated exhaust gas, and the acidic liquid and the treated exhaust gas were brought into gas-liquid contact in the upstream scrubber. Thereafter, the alkaline liquid and the exhaust gas to be treated may be brought into gas-liquid contact with a downstream scrubber. In this case, it is needless to say that the gas-liquid contact portion of the scrubber does not necessarily have to be one stage, and there may be two or more stages.
[0015]
As the electrolyte to be supplied to the electrolyzer, seawater, artificial seawater, seawater waste liquid used as engine cooling water, condenser condensate, or the like may be used. Moreover, the acidic liquid supplied to the gas-liquid contact part of the scrubber is usually set to pH 6 or lower, preferably
[0016]
It is preferable that at least the positive electrode chamber and the negative electrode chamber are separated from each other by a partition. This is because seawater has a conductivity of 4.5 S / m, which is significantly larger than that of fresh water (0.01 to 0.05 S / m), so the distance between the electrodes should be set to a close distance, for example, within 1 m. Then, since an electrical short circuit occurs and the electrolytic treatment cannot be continued, an attempt is made to prevent the short circuit by giving the partition walls some electrical resistance. As the material of the partition wall, it is preferable to use a hydrophilic porous membrane or PBO fiber cloth made of a fluorine-based resin such as polytetrafluoroethylene (for example, Teflon (registered trademark)).
[0017]
In a preferred embodiment, gas (H 2 , Cl 2, and O 2 ) generated on one electrode side of the electrolysis apparatus is guided to the counter electrode side to reduce power consumption on the counter electrode side. Further, hydrogen gas is generated when the alkaline liquid is generated. By using this hydrogen gas as fuel for the fuel cell, about half of the electric power required for the electrolytic treatment can be recovered.
[0018]
In the method of the present invention, first, seawater is electrolyzed to produce an alkaline liquid and an acidic liquid, and the treated exhaust gas is brought into gas-liquid contact with the acidic liquid, the suboxide contained in the treated exhaust gas becomes the acidic liquid. Components with strong oxidizing power (specifically, hypohalite ions (ClO − , BrO − , IO − ), active oxygen species (OH radicals), oxidizing gases (Cl 2 , O 2 )) It is oxidized by this reaction and converted into a stable and harmless substance (NO 3 − , SO 4 − ) in nature such as the ocean.
[0019]
Then, when is an acidic solution to be treated exhaust gas treated with alkaline solution and gas-liquid contacting, CO 2 to be treated in the exhaust gas HCO 3 hydration reaction is promoted by the alkali solution - to produce ions, are absorbed in an alkali solution The Thus, to reduce the emission concentration into the atmosphere of CO 2, then, it is used for neutralization of acidic wastewater.
[0020]
The method of the present invention includes at least one gas-liquid contact means for bringing an exhaust gas to be treated and a treatment liquid into contact with each other, and an electrolysis apparatus that electrolyzes salt water to produce an alkaline liquid and an acidic liquid, One gas-liquid contact means has a treated exhaust gas inlet on the upstream side and a treated exhaust gas outlet on the downstream side, and sprays the acidic liquid onto at least one gas-liquid contact portion disposed therein. It is preferable to carry out by an exhaust gas purifying apparatus characterized by comprising an acidic liquid spraying means or an alkaline liquid spraying means for spraying the alkaline liquid.
[0021]
As the gas-liquid contact means, known ones such as an absorption tower and a scrubber can be used, and the scrubber includes, for example, a spray washing tower, a water jet scrubber, a cyclone scrubber, a venturi scrubber, etc. Can be used in combination.
[0022]
In another embodiment of the method of the present invention, the gas-liquid contact means is constituted by a scrubber, and the scrubber has at least two gas-liquid contact portions therein, and the upstream gas in the flow direction of the exhaust gas to be treated. An acidic liquid spraying means for spraying the acidic liquid generated by the electrolytic device on the liquid contact portion, and an alkaline liquid spraying means for spraying the alkaline liquid generated by the electrolytic device on the gas-liquid contact portion on the downstream side thereof It is suitable.
[0023]
In another embodiment of the method of the present invention, the gas-liquid contact portion of each stage of the scrubber comprises a reservoir that holds the liquid sprayed from the acidic liquid spraying means or the alkaline liquid spraying means, and the liquid in the reservoir Is configured to flow down along the wall surface forming the gas-liquid contact portion.
[0024]
In another embodiment of the method of the present invention, a pretreatment tank is disposed between the exhaust gas generation source to be processed and the gas-liquid contact means, and the pretreatment tank is connected to the exhaust gas generation source to be processed on the top thereof. The treated exhaust gas inlet has a treated exhaust gas inlet port communicating with the lower part of the gas-liquid contact means at the lower part thereof, and the liquid is disposed in the flow direction of the treated exhaust gas from the treated exhaust gas generation source. It is preferable that a liquid spraying means for spraying is provided.
[0025]

【The invention's effect】
As is apparent from the above description, by employing the apparatus of the present invention , not only SO 2 can be reduced by almost 100%, but also NOx, COx, and dust particles can be further reduced. In addition, since the gas-liquid contact portion inside the scrubber can be divided and arranged in multiple stages in the vertical direction, the installation space can be reduced and the size can be reduced to such an extent that it can be mounted on a ship. Further, by combining the two types of the gas-liquid fluidized bed and the falling liquid film layer, a sufficient gas-liquid contact reaction can be performed, and at the same time, the pressure loss can be suppressed to the minimum. Furthermore, since the scrubber is a vertical type, it can be used as a chimney. In addition, since the scrubber can be separated from other components and connected by piping, the installation location of the apparatus is flexible, and excellent effects such as reduction in location restrictions such as installation space can be obtained.
