Claims (3)
- 冷却要素(1)を備え、該要素(1)が4つの隅領域(5a、5b、5c、5d)を備えた矩形の冷却材室(3)を有し、その第1隅領域(5a)に冷却材入口(7a、29a)の開口、第2隅領域(5b)に冷却材出口(7b、29b)の開口が配置され、重力の観点から上側に前記第1隅領域(5a)が、下側に第2隅領域(5b)が配設されている平面矩形燃料電池(21)において、冷却材室(3)の上側であって前記第1隅領域(5a)と対向する側に配設された第3隅領域(5c)に第2の冷却材出口(7c、29c)が配置され、第1の冷却材出口(7b、29b)がその最狭部において流れ断面積(Q1)、第2の冷却材出口(7c、29c)がその最狭部において流れ断面積(Q2)を夫々有し、前記第1、第2の両流れ断面積の比(Q1/Q2)が7〜25であることを特徴とする燃料電池(21)。
- 第1隅領域(5a)と第2隅領域(5b)が対角線上に配置されたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の燃料電池(21)。
- 請求項1又は2記載の燃料電池(21)を複数個、水平軸方向に積層してなる燃料電池ブロック(22)であって、第1の冷却材出口(7b、29b)が燃料電池ブロック(22)の第1軸方向流路(27b)に開口し、第2の冷却材出口(7c、29c)が燃料電池ブロック(22)の第2軸方向流路(27c)に開口し、第1、第2の両軸方向流路(27b、27c)が圧力平衡管(31)を経て互いに接続されたことを特徴とする燃料電池ブロック(22)。
