Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an abrasive sheet used for the end face of an optical connector ferrule, the surface of a silicone wafer, a glass lens, a precision finish polishing of a mold, etc. It belongs to the polishing sheet which prevented the grinding | polishing by the side of a base film, and is described as a back surface below.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Finishing polishing of precision machine parts, magnetic heads, magnetic disks, and the like, and precision finishing polishing of molds are required to have a fine surface accuracy in units of micron or submicron. For such precision finish polishing, a polishing sheet containing a high hardness inorganic fine particle is provided on a base film, and a polishing sheet having an extremely small surface roughness is used.
[0003]
In particular, when carrying out precision finishing of optical connector ferrules, silicone wafer surfaces, glass lenses, etc., as shown in FIG. 2, a polishing tape is put on a
[0004]
The closer the polishing process is to the finishing stage, the smaller the average particle diameter of the abrasive particles of the polishing sheet to be attached to the rubber pad is used. Therefore, since the surface of the polishing layer of the sheet is smooth, it is difficult to distinguish the polishing layer from the back surface, and there is a problem of misuse that polishing is performed on the back surface. In order to solve this problem, polishing sheets with a seal indicating the front and back of the polishing layer are in circulation.
[0005]
The abrasive sheet with the seal attached requires time and cost for the process of attaching the seal. Further, when the polishing process is wet polishing using a polishing liquid or a lubricating oil, there is a problem that the attached seal is peeled off or dropped and mixed into the polished surface, or a seal adhesive is mixed.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Polishing sheets used for ultra-precise polishing such as for optical connector ferrule end faces are used to finish the object to be polished into a mirror-like surface. The average particle size of the abrasive in the polishing layer is as fine as 10 μm or less. Therefore, the center line roughness (Ra) on the surface of the polishing layer is often as smooth as 10 μm or less. On the other hand, a polyester film is widely used as the base film for the polishing sheet, and since the physical properties are transparent and the surface is smooth, the polishing sheet surface of the polishing sheet and the back surface on which the polishing layer is not formed. There was a problem that it was difficult to discriminate. When the polishing layer had transparency or semi-transparency, and the total light transmittance of the polishing sheet itself was 90% or more and the haze was 60% or less, it was more difficult to distinguish the front and back.
[0007]
The user attaches the back surface of the polishing sheet to the
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
To achieve the above object, the polishing sheet of the present invention is a transparent polishing sheet comprising a polishing layer on one side of a base film, and the polishing layer side is used to determine the provided polishing layer surface. abrasive sheet der having an identification part asymmetric can determine that the non-abrasive portions existing central portion in the a polishing layer is,
[0009]
Moreover, the above-mentioned identification unit is an abrasive sheet formed by unplug machining polishing film.
[0010]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
As shown in FIG. 2, the polishing sheet of the present invention has a
[0011]
In order to discriminate the polishing layer 4 provided on one side of the substrate film 5 shown in FIG. 2, the polishing sheet of the present invention has a polishing layer surface at the center of the peripheral part or the center part as shown in FIG. Ri abrasive sheet der having an identification part 3 for discriminating,
[0012]
Moreover, the identification unit 3 of the center of the are the abrasive sheet formed by unplug machining.
[0013]
The base film of the polishing sheet of the present invention can be appropriately selected from a film having a sufficient strength to withstand polishing work and a strength and heat resistance to withstand coating and drying of the abrasive. For example, polyolefin resin such as high-density polyethylene and polypropylene, polystyrene, polyvinyl chloride, polyvinylidene chloride, polyvinyl alcohol, ethylene / vinyl alcohol copolymer, polyacrylonitrile, polyamide, acrylic ester or methacrylic ester It is a stretched or unstretched film made of an acrylic resin, polyethylene terephthalate, polybutylene terephthalate, polyester such as polyethylene naphthalate, polyacetal, di- or tri-acetyl-cellulose fiber derivative, polycarbonate or the like. In particular, it is preferable that the thickness of the polyethylene terephthalate, nylon 6 biaxially stretched film or polyimide film excellent in coating suitability for the polishing layer, suitability for post-processing of the abrasive sheet and handling in a grinder is 12 to 100 μm.
[0014]
It is preferable to add an antistatic agent to the base film in order to prevent adsorption of dust due to static electricity generated during handling. As the antistatic agent, a normal nonionic surfactant, an anionic surfactant, a cationic surfactant or the like, a polyamide derivative, an acrylic acid derivative, or the like can be appropriately selected and added.
[0015]
The fine particles used for the abrasive are, for example, silica, aluminum oxide, silicon carbide, silicon nitride, boron nitride, zirconium oxide, chromium oxide, diamond, emery and the like having a particle size of 0.01 to 100 μm. Moreover, the fine particle diameter of the abrasive in the precision finish polishing described in the present invention is widely used in the range of 0.001 to 10 μm.
[0016]
The binder of the polishing layer is composed of various plasticizers such as saturated polyester, polyurethane, vinyl chloride / vinyl acetate copolymer, vinyl butyral, acrylic resin, polyalkylsiloxane, nitrified cotton, chlorinated rubber, cyclized rubber, etc. In addition, reactive types such as polyester polyol / polyisocyanate, polyether polyol / polyisocyanate, alkyd resin and the like are also used.
[0017]
Coating of the polishing layer is usually performed on a vehicle prepared by dissolving in a solvent in consideration of the solubility of the fine particles and the binder, the solvent removal property, and the coating method (fluidity, drying property, etc. in the coating part). The polishing layer coating solution dispersed in (1) is used. The coating method is selected according to the shape of the coated surface, the coating amount and the coating accuracy, and is performed by direct or reverse coating such as normal roll coating, gravure coating, bar coating, and the like. Further, when a special shape is formed on the surface of the polishing layer, coating with a gravure plate is an advantageous method. And the application quantity is 1-30 g / m < 2 > by solid content. Moreover, in order to firmly and firmly adhere the polishing layer and the base film, it is preferable to provide a primer layer on the base film. The primer layer can prevent blocking by the polishing layer even if the primer layer is slightly sticky, in addition to the varnish made of the same material as the binder. Therefore, it can be selected from materials having affinity for the base film and having a low glass transition point and strong adhesion.
[0018]
As shown in FIGS . 3 and 6 , the discriminating portion provided on the polishing sheet of the present invention has at least one non-polishing portion 30A, 30B shown in FIG. it is also in the central non-abrasive portion 30A of the central portion, when forming the
