Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a fluid pump, and more particularly to a fluid pump suitable for reducing the weight.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, as disclosed in, for example, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 6-249134, a fluid pump is known. This fluid pump includes a housing, a cylinder assembled to the housing, and a plunger slidably provided in the cylinder. When the plunger reciprocates in the cylinder, the pump chamber defined by the plunger expands and contracts, and the working fluid sucked into the pump chamber is pressurized. The working fluid pressurized in the pump chamber is metered by a regulator provided in the housing, and then sent to the outside.
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Therefore, in the conventional fluid pump, the working fluid whose pressure is increased in the pump chamber is supplied to the regulator through the housing. That is, since a passage for circulating a high-pressure working fluid is formed in the housing, it is necessary to give the housing sufficient strength to withstand high pressure. For this reason, according to the above-described conventional fluid pump, the housing must be made of a high-strength material such as an iron-based material and further subjected to a strengthening process such as carburizing and quenching. This will increase man-hours.
[0004]
The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and provides a fluid pump capable of reducing the weight of the pump and reducing the number of processing steps by reducing the strength required of the housing. Objective.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The above object is a fluid pump for pumping fuel to a common rail of a fuel injection device as described in claim 1,
A housing;
A plurality of pump mechanisms incorporated in the housing and pressurizing the fuel sucked into each pump chamber;
A plurality of high-pressure passages provided in the housing corresponding to the plurality of pump mechanisms, through which fuel pressurized by each pump mechanism flows;
A plurality of pipes attached to the housing corresponding to the plurality of high-pressure passages, and communicating each high-pressure passage with one common rail ;
Said housing, said a first member the high-pressure path is provided Rutotomoni the pipe is attached, divided into a second member to which the high-pressure path is not provided, the second member, the first A fluid pump comprising a material having a lower strength than the material constituting the member , or
A fluid pump for pumping fuel to a common rail of a fuel injection device as claimed in claim 2,
A housing;
A plurality of pump mechanisms incorporated in the housing and pressurizing the fuel sucked into each pump chamber;
A plurality of first high-pressure passages provided in the housing corresponding to the plurality of pump mechanisms, through which fuel pressurized by each pump mechanism flows;
A first pipe attached to the housing and communicating the plurality of first high-pressure passages with each other;
A second high pressure passage provided in the housing and branching from a predetermined high pressure passage of the plurality of first high pressure passages;
A second pipe that is attached to the housing and communicates the second high-pressure passage with a common rail ;
Said housing, said a first member the high-pressure path is provided Rutotomoni the pipe is attached, divided into a second member to which the high-pressure path is not provided, the second member, the first A fluid pump comprising a material having a lower strength than the material constituting the member , or
A fluid pump for pumping fuel to a common rail of a fuel injection device as claimed in claim 3,
A housing;
Two pump mechanisms built into the housing and boosting the fuel sucked into each pump chamber;
Two high-pressure passages provided in the housing corresponding to the two pump mechanisms, through which the fuel pressurized by each pump mechanism flows;
A first pipe attached to the housing and communicating the two high-pressure passages with each other;
A second pipe for communicating the first pipe with one common rail ;
Said housing, said a first member the high-pressure path is provided Rutotomoni the pipe is attached, divided into a second member to which the high-pressure path is not provided, the second member, the first This is achieved by a fluid pump characterized in that it is made of a material having a lower strength than the material constituting the member .
[0006]
In the present invention, the fluid pressurized by the pump mechanism is guided to the outside through the high-pressure passage. The housing is divided into a first member provided with a high-pressure passage and a second member not provided with a high-pressure passage. Therefore, since it is not necessary to give the second member high strength that can withstand high pressure, the second member can be made of a lightweight material, and a strengthening treatment such as heat treatment can be made unnecessary. Thus, according to the present invention, it is not necessary to give a large strength to the entire housing member, thereby reducing the weight of the fluid pump and reducing the number of processing steps.
[0007]
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, in the fluid pump according to any one of the first to third aspects, an inflow amount adjusting means for controlling a flow rate of the fluid flowing into the pump chamber is provided in the second member. It is good also as providing. In the invention according to
[0008]
Further, as described in claim 5, in the fluid pump according to any one of claims 1 to 3 , a relief valve is provided which communicates with the discharge passage and allows the pressurized fluid to flow out to the low pressure side. It is good. In the invention according to claim 5, the relief valve communicates with the discharge passage and causes the fluid pressurized by the pump mechanism to flow out to the low pressure side. The discharge flow rate of the fuel pump decreases as the flow rate flowing out through the relief valve increases. Therefore, according to the present invention, the discharge flow rate of the fuel pump can be controlled by adjusting the relief valve.
