Description
1,4,5,8‐テトラクロロアントラキノン10.87g、アニリン50g、酢酸カリウム13.4g、硫酸銅1.24g及びベンジルアルコール3.41gの混合物は、窒素下で130℃に加熱され、この温度で6.5時間維持され、引き続き別に170℃において6時間の保持時間が採られる。反応混合物は、周囲温度に冷却され、沈殿は濾過され、黒い固体を与えた。トルエンからの粗生成物の再結晶は、望ましい生成物として1,4,5,8‐テトラ(フェニルアミノ)アントラキノンの、プロトンのNMRにより確認される構造を有する暗緑色の結晶物質(>95%純度)6.0gを与えた。この物質は、トルエン中で750nm波長における最大吸収バンド(λmax)を有していた。そのモル吸光係数(ε)は、〜30,500であると決定された。
1,4,5,8‐テトラクロロアントラキノン10.87g及び4‐n‐ブチルアニリン95gの混合物は、190℃において12時間、反応させられた。反応混合物は、それから70℃に冷却され、等量のエタノールで希釈された。静置そして更に周囲温度への冷却に際して、多少の沈殿が形成された。混合物は濾過され、洗浄され、キシレン/イソプロパノールから再結晶されて望ましい生成物として1,4,5,8‐テトラ(4‐n‐ブチルフェニルアミノ)アントラキノンの、プロトンのNMRにより確認される構造を有する暗緑色の結晶物質(>95%純度)6.6gを与えた。この物質は、トルエン中で762nm波長における最大吸収バンド(λmax)を有していた。そのモル吸光係数(ε)は、〜36,900であると決定された。
キシレン、テキサコ(Texaco、商標)ディーゼル燃料及びモービル(Mobil、商標)レギュラーガソリン中の1,4,5,8‐テトラ(フェニルアミノ)アントラキノン(TPAAQ)の色々な濃度の溶液が調製され、実験室用分光光度計で分析された。結果は1mg/Lについての読みパーセンテージとして表される予測及び実際の読みと共に下記の表に示されている。
Claims (10)
- (i)1,4,5,8‐テトラ置換アントラキノン及びアントラキノンダイマーからなる群から選択される710nmから850nmの範囲に吸収極大を有する少なくとも一つのアントラキノン染料、ここで各アントラキノン染料は0.01ppmから2ppm未満の量で存在する;及び(ii)500nmから700nmの範囲に吸収極大を有する少なくとも一つの可視染料を液体石油炭化水素に添加することを含む、液体石油炭化水素をマーキングする方法。
- 該液体石油炭化水素が潤滑油、作動液、ブレーキ液、ガソリン、ディーゼル燃料、ケロシン、ジェット燃料及び加熱油からなる群から選択される請求項1に記載の方法。
- XがR4NH及びR1、R2、R3及びR4の少なくとも三つはアリール又は芳香族複素環式である請求項3に記載の方法。
- 500nmから700nmの範囲に吸収極大を有する該少なくとも一つの可視染料がアントラキノン染料及びジアゾ染料からなる群から選択される請求項2に記載の方法。
- 該少なくとも一つの可視染料が550nmから700nmの範囲に吸収極大を有する請求項6に記載の方法。
- 710nmから850nmの範囲に吸収極大を有する該少なくとも一つのアントラキノン染料及び500nmから700nmの範囲に吸収極大を有する該少なくとも一つの可視染料が、液体石油炭化水素の任意の化学操作を遂行すること無しに検出される請求項1に記載の方法。
- 710nmから850nmの範囲に吸収極大を有する該少なくとも一つのアントラキノン染料が0.02ppmから1ppmの量で存在し、500nmから700nmの範囲に吸収極大を有する該少なくとも一つの可視染料が0.2ppmから2ppmの量で存在する請求項8に記載の方法。
- 該少なくとも一つのアントラキノン染料が720nmから810nmの範囲に吸収極大を有する請求項9に記載の方法。
