【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to an upper thread swing prevention device for preventing an upper thread that forms a loop below a sewing object by a vertical movement of a sewing machine balance, a needle bar, etc. from being swung when a rotary hook catches the upper thread. Is.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, an upper thread that forms a loop under the workpiece by the vertical movement of the sewing machine balance and needle bar is hung on the sword tip of the rotary hook, crosses the lower thread by passing through the rotary hook, and the seam When the upper thread swings above the workpiece due to, for example, the vertical movement of the sewing needle, the loop formed below the workpiece also swings along with this, and is moved to the sword tip of the rotary hook. There is an inconvenience that the seam is not formed. Further, in order to eliminate the inconvenience which affects the occurrence of thread breakage and hitch stitch, as shown in FIG. 7, the upper thread 1 between the balance and the sewing needle is pressed to prevent the upper thread 1 from swinging. An anti-swing device has been proposed. Various types of upper thread swing prevention devices have been put to practical use, and many devices have been proposed.
[0003]
The object shown in FIG. 7 is a method that is best known in the past, and will be described below.
[0004]
First, in the upper thread swing prevention device shown in FIG. 7 (a), reference numeral 100 denotes a first plate fixed between the balance of the sewing machine body and the sewing needle, and 101 faces the first plate. It is the 2nd board body provided. Reference numeral 102 denotes a screw body that penetrates through the second plate body 101 and is screwed into the first plate body 100. Reference numeral 103 denotes a spring having one end engaged with the screw body 102 and the other end in contact with the second plate 101, and biases the second plate 101 against the first plate 100.
[0005]
If the upper thread 1 is passed between the plates 100 and 101 of the upper thread swing prevention device having the above-described configuration as shown in the drawing, the upper thread swing prevention device presses the upper thread 1 by the spring 103 biasing. The swinging of the upper thread 1 can be prevented. Further, the presser pressure on the upper thread 1 can be adjusted by the advancement / retraction of the screw body 102. The upper thread swing prevention device shown in FIG. 7B is made of a rubber material 104 having a U-shape, and is fixed to the sewing machine body between the balance and the sewing needle, and sandwiches the upper thread 1 as shown in the figure. Thus, the upper thread 1 can be prevented from swinging.
[0006]
The upper thread anti-swing device shown in FIG. 7 (c) cuts the V-groove in the felt 105 as shown in the figure and holds the upper thread 1 at the tip of the V-groove in the groove to give resistance. Oscillation can be prevented. The upper thread swing prevention device shown in FIG. 7 (d) prevents the upper thread 1 from swinging by arranging a plurality of projecting pins 106 to bend the upper thread 1 to give resistance to the upper thread 1. can do.
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the conventional technique has the following problems. The upper thread swing prevention device shown in FIG. 7 (a) presses the upper thread regardless of whether the upper thread is supplied or moved when the balance and needle bar are moved up and down. A considerable amount of the upper thread is squeezed, and the twist of the upper thread that forms a loop below the workpiece is returned, causing a disadvantage that the sword tip of the rotary hook cannot properly catch the upper thread. That is, as the twist of the twisted yarn returns, the upper thread is broken into two or three, and the sword tip of the rotary hook catches a part of these broken fiber threads to form a seam, cut, etc. Therefore, a delicate adjustment is required depending on the type of the upper thread.
[0008]
7 (b) and 7 (c) are non-adjustable type upper thread swaying prevention devices using elastic rubber and felt. However, as shown in FIG. In addition to the harmful effects of ironing the upper thread, wear due to friction with the upper thread was significant, requiring frequent replacement.
[0009]
FIG. 7D shows a case where a plurality of protruding pins 106 are arranged to bend the upper thread 1 so as to give resistance to the upper thread 1. There was a problem in thread tension (the balance between the stitches of the upper thread and the lower thread) because the change in the bending resistance due to changes in the sewing speed of the sewing machine was severe.
[0010]
As described above, the upper thread swing prevention device described above can prevent the upper thread from swinging and reduce the occurrence frequency of stitch skipping, thread breakage, and hitch stitch caused by the upper thread swing. However, since it always contacts the upper thread 1 and squeezes the thread, new factors such as skipping, thread breakage, thread soge (the thread breaks and the broken thread is partially cut, eventually leading to thread breakage) State) may occur. Also in the thread tension, the sewing machine equipped with the upper thread anti-swing device has a higher resistance when the balance is tightened, and the upper thread tensioner side supplies extra upper thread, which causes the seam to be stitched. As a result, the upper thread was over-supplied, and the thread tensioner pressure setting had to be increased. However, in general, the thread tensioner of the sewing machine applies pressure to the upper thread by pinching the upper thread with two tension plates, so that the twist of the twisted thread is easily returned here, and the thread tensioner is Increasing the pressure was not always preferable.
[0011]
In order to solve these problems, the present invention prevents the upper thread from swinging without squeezing the upper thread from the balance to the sewing needle, and does not affect the tension of the thread during sewing. It is an object to provide an upper thread swing prevention device that can be threaded by (one-handed operation) and is easy to maintain.
[0012]
The present invention is a novel method for solving the above-described problems all at once. That is, the present invention provides a slit-shaped thread guide device using a fibrous fibrous body so that the swing prevention device can prevent the upper thread from swinging without pressing the upper thread, and the balance is lowered and sewed from the balance. also loose upper thread between the needle by such upper thread until the needle from the swing prevention device were not unsteady, with make improved sewing have quality, when the yarn hooking for sewing preparation An object of the present invention is to allow the upper thread to easily enter the anti-swing device without any special operation.
[0013]
[0014]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
To achieve these objectives, the needle thread swing prevention device according to a first aspect of the present invention is disposed in the upper thread path between the needle fixed to the distal end of the balance and the needle bar sewing machine cover A thread guide body formed with slit-shaped U-grooves having two opposing faces through which an upper thread threaded through an upper threading path composed of A hair fiber body that is detachably attached to one side, and the hair tip of the hair fiber body is provided with a hair fiber body that is aligned in a direction perpendicular to the other surface of the U groove In particular, when performing the threading operation of the upper thread in the upper threading path, the upper thread enters between both the ends of the hairy fibrous body and the other surface of the U groove, or the thread If the upper thread does not enter between the two due to the way of hanging, the both threads are tightened when the upper thread is tightened by raising the balance. As upper thread enters between, in which bristles of the bristle-like fiber body is disposed so as to be separated small amounts contact or small amount on the other surface of the U-groove.
[0015]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, the upper thread swing prevention device is provided on a needle bar base that supports the needle bar so that the needle bar can be moved in the left-right direction or a needle clamp at the lower end of the needle bar.
[0016]
3. The upper thread swing prevention device according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the operator holds the thread end of the upper thread after threading on the balance and is fixed to the needle bar. Lead to the needle hole. At this time, the upper thread is located between both the tip of the bristle fibrous body and the other surface of the U groove, which are mounted on one of the two opposite faces of the U groove of the thread guide disposed on the upper thread path of the sewing machine. but to enter. Hairy fibers of This or contact bristles small amount relative to the other side of the U groove, the upper so spaced small amount between both the other surface of the bristles and U grooves hairy fibrous body resistance is very little smooth guide Kukoto can be when the thread enters. Further, the resistance given to the upper thread when the upper thread is supplied and tightened by the vertical movement of the balance and the needle bar is very small, and the thread is not squeezed. The hair ends of the hair-like fibrous body catch a large number of hair-like fibers present on the surface of the upper thread, and when the balance is lowered, it prevents the upper thread from remaining excessively on the sewing needle side. Appropriate capture. Further, since the hair ends of the hairy fibrous body are aligned in a direction perpendicular to the other surface of the U-groove, the upper thread enters between the hair tip of the hairy fibrous body and the other surface of the U-groove. In addition, it is possible to prevent the thread from coming out between both the hair end of the fibrous fibrous body and the other surface of the U-groove when the upper thread fluctuates during sewing.
[0017]
The upper thread swing prevention device according to claim 2 is provided on the needle bar base for supporting the needle bar so that the needle bar can be moved in the left-right direction or the needle holder at the lower end of the needle bar. Following this, the thread guide also moves left and right, and is located close to the sewing needle, so that the upper thread from the thread guide to the sewing needle can be made more stable.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0019]
As shown in FIG. 1, the machine frame 2 of the sewing machine has an upper shaft 4 that is fixedly driven by an electric motor 3 that is a drive source, and a lower shaft 6 that is further rotated by a drive transmission belt 5. It is equipped. Rotation of the upper shaft 4 through the thread take-up crank 7 and the needle bar clan click not described in detail, together with the swinging movement of the balance 8, moved up and down movement of the needle bar 10 with the needle 9 sewing the lower end. On the other hand, the rotation of the lower shaft 6 rotates the outer hook 12 having a lower thread bobbin (not shown) through the hook gear 11 at a double speed, and the cloth feed dog via the vertical horizontal feed cam 13 fixed to the lower shaft 6. 14 is driven horizontally up and down. In the sewing machine configured as described above, the movements of the needle bar 10, the outer shuttle 12, the balance 8, and the cloth feed dog 14 operate at a predetermined timing shown in the timing chart shown in FIG. Since it does not change, detailed description is abbreviate | omitted.
[0020]
Next, a general threading procedure for the upper threading of the sewing machine will be described with reference to FIG. The upper thread 1 is guided from the thread spool 21 mounted on the spool pin 20 to the thread tension applying device 23 through the first thread guide 22. Next, after being lowered and threaded onto the second thread guide 24, a U-turn is made to pass through the thread hole 25 of the balance 8, and the needle bar provided again near the needle clamp 10a of the needle bar 10 is lowered again. After being threaded onto the thread guide 26, it is passed through the needle hole 9a. A front cover 27, a face plate 28, and a yarn path cover 29 are fixed to the machine frame 2 so as to wrap the machine frame 2, thereby forming the appearance of the sewing machine and forming the upper threading path. The upper thread swing prevention device according to the present invention is disposed on the upper thread path between the thread hole 25 of the balance 8 and the needle hole 9a, and the face plate 28 below the lower end of the vertical movement of the balance 8; It is located behind the upper thread hooking path 30 (FIG. 4) formed by the boundary with the front cover 27 and is attached to the machine frame 2.
[0021]
Now, the configuration of the upper thread rocking prevention device of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to FIGS.
[0022]
The thread guide 31 has an L-shaped plate shape, one end of which is fixed to the sewing machine frame, and the other end is a needle bar thread guide 26 or a needle fixed to the needle holder 10 a from the thread hole 25 of the balance 8. It has a surface substantially orthogonal to the upper thread path leading to the hole 9a. A U-groove 31a for allowing the upper thread to pass therethrough is formed in the vicinity of the center, and the opening of the U-groove 31a is directed toward the upper thread hooking path 30 formed by the boundary between the face plate 28 and the front cover 27 described above. Yes. The U groove 31a is polished in preparation for contact with the upper thread 1. On one side of the U-groove 31a, a hook-like portion 31b is formed so that a snap holder 34 provided with a hairy fibrous body 33 can be mounted, and the other extends from the A surface of the U-groove 31a. The upper thread 1 does not enter the back of the front cover 27 and get caught by other parts (not shown) constituting the sewing machine.
[0023]
The snap holder 34 provided with the hair-like fiber body 33 is resin-molded, and is formed in a square hole 34a that is split into a center portion and fitted into the hook-like portion 31b of the yarn guide body 31, and the hook-like portion 31b of the yarn guide body 31. It has a hook part 34 b that is hooked to prevent it from coming off, and an adhesive surface 34 c that adheres the hairy fibrous body 33. The adhesive surface 34c is disposed in the U groove of the yarn guide 31 while being attached to the yarn guide 31, and is parallel to the A surface of the U groove 31a. The hair-like fibrous body 33 is a sheet-like one aligned with commercially available elastic straight hairs, which is cut into a rectangular shape and adhered to the adhesive surface 34c of the snap holder. Are arranged so as to be slightly in contact with the A surface of the thread guide 31 or slightly separated from each other, and form a thread swing preventing portion between them . The front portion 34d of the snap holder 34 extends close to and parallel to the front portion of the face plate 28 so that the upper thread 1 does not enter the back of the face plate 28 and get caught by other parts constituting the sewing machine. that it has to.
[0024]
A home sewing machine equipped with the above-described upper thread swing prevention device will be described.
[0025]
First, in the sewing machine configured as described above, when a predetermined upper thread hooking operation is performed, the U of the thread guide body 31 located at the back of the upper thread hooking path 30 formed by the boundary between the face plate 28 and the front cover 27. It guides without adding a special operation | work between the A surface of the U-shaped groove 31a, and the hair-like fiber body 33 from the opening part of the groove 31a. The elastic straight hairs of the hair-like fibrous body 33 are aligned, and the hair tips are arranged so as to slightly contact or slightly separate toward the A surface of the U-shaped groove 31a. It is guided between the A surface of the groove 31a and the bristles of the hair fiber body 33 and easily enters a thread swing prevention part (hereinafter referred to as slit 32) which is a slit. Can do. In other words, when the upper thread is hooked, the upper thread 1 can enter in a state where the upper thread 1 is tensioned by a slight resistance of the upper thread path from the yarn spool 21.
[0026]
At this time, even if the upper thread cannot enter the upper thread swing prevention device depending on the way the operator works, there is no problem because the upper thread can be tightened by raising the balance 8 if the sewing machine is driven. In such a case, that is, the first needle eye at the sewing start ing upper thread easily loosened significantly by lowering the balance 8, the upper thread 1 by the front portion 34d of the ridgelines 31c and the snap holder 34 of the yarn guide member 31 The upper thread swing prevention device itself is prevented from being caught by entering into the depths of the face plate 28 and the front cover 27 and being caught by other parts constituting the sewing machine.
[0027]
Next, when a predetermined thread hook of the sewing machine is applied and the upper thread 1 is passed through the needle hole 9a and sewing is started, the upper thread 1 also moves up and down violently when the upper thread 1 is supplied and tightened by the vertical movement of the balance 8 and the needle bar 10. The slit 32 formed by the hair fiber body 33 and the A surface of the U-shaped groove 31a of the yarn guide body 31 is moved up and down.
[0028]
Also in this case, the resistance given to the upper yarn of the slit 32 according to the present configuration is very small, and the twist of the twisted yarn is not returned by squeezing the upper yarn 1. The hair ends of the hair-like fiber body 33 catch many hair-like fibers existing on the surface of the upper thread 1, and when the balance 8 is lowered, the upper thread 1 is left on the side of the sewing needle 9 below the slit 32 position. It can prevent sticking. Therefore, without respect to the needle bar thread guide 26 having an opening 26a for facilitating hanging the upper thread, the upper thread 1 is out of the opening 26a during sewing, as in the present embodiment, Hari抱-out 10a to guide smoothly the upper thread 1 into the needle groove 9b of the needle 9 in cooperation with the needle bar thread guide 26 which is secured to the ones captured on yarn 1 of the outer hook 12 proper to. The bristle fibrous body 33 in the slit 32 has its hair tips aligned in a direction perpendicular to the facing surface to make it easy to allow the upper thread 1 to enter the slit 32, and in the degree of wobbling of the upper thread 1 during sewing, the slit 32. So that the thread does not come out in the direction of the yarn hooking path 30.
[0029]
Next, a modified embodiment of the upper thread rocking prevention device according to the present invention will be described.
[0030]
In FIG. 6, (a) is a left side view of the anti-swing device of the present invention, and (b) shows the needle thread anti-sway device of the present invention close to the needle clamp 10a at the uppermost position of the needle bar. The sewing machine is provided on the needle bar base 35 of the zigzag sewing machine. In such a configuration, the slit 32 also operates following the movement of the needle bar of the zigzag sewing machine to the left and right, and the slit 32 can be disposed close to the needle, so that the upper part from the slit 32 to the needle hole 9a can be arranged. It is also possible to eliminate the needle bar thread guide 26 because the thread 1 is more stable. Further, as shown in FIG. 6 ( c ), it can be modified so as to be attached to the needle holder 10a of the needle bar 10 that moves up and down, and will be additionally described.
[0031]
【The invention's effect】
As is clear from the above detailed description, according to the upper thread swing prevention device of the first aspect of the present invention, the tip of the hairy fibrous body is slightly placed on the other surface of the U groove when sewing with the sewing machine. Is arranged so as to be in contact with or slightly spaced from each other, so that a slight resistance is imparted to the upper thread passing through the slit between the hair end of the hairy fibrous body and the other surface of the U groove. Just do not press the upper thread. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent the occurrence of thread sag that returns when the upper thread is squeezed, and prevents stitch skipping and thread breakage due to this thread sag, improving the sewing quality. be able to.
In addition, since the hair ends of the hair-like fibrous body catch a large number of hair-like fibers existing on the surface of the upper thread, the upper needle remaining when the balance is lowered is a sewing needle below the position where the thread guide is disposed. You can prevent it from hitting the side. That is, the swing of the upper thread during sewing can be reliably prevented. Accordingly, the upper thread is guided smoothly in the needle groove of the sewing needle in cooperation with the needle bar thread guide fixed to the needle clamp, and the upper thread of the outer hook is properly captured. The occurrence of stitch skipping, thread breakage and hitch stitching due to swinging can be prevented, and the sewing quality can be improved.
Further, since the hair fiber body is detachably attached to the thread guide body, cleaning or replacement of cotton dust or the like that easily collects on the hair fiber body is facilitated.
[0032]
Furthermore, since the hair ends of the fibrous fibrous bodies are aligned in a direction perpendicular to the other surface of the U-groove, the upper thread can easily enter the slit during threading, and the upper thread during the sewing is wobbling. It does not come out of the slit at a degree.
When the operator performs the threading operation of the upper thread on the upper threading path, even if the upper thread does not enter the slit due to the manner of threading, the upper thread enters the slit when the upper thread is tightened by raising the balance. Therefore, the upper thread can be reliably prevented from swinging and the sewing quality can be improved.
[0033]
According to the needle thread swing prevention device of the second aspect of the present invention, the slit also moves left and right following the movement of the needle bar to the left and right, and is located close to the sewing needle. Since the upper thread is more stable, the effect of preventing the upper thread from swinging is further enhanced, and the sewing quality can be further improved.
